Just so you know, my original throttle body that came with my 3.0 Whipple was a sticky POS and it made the car drive like doo doo. It's amazing how a good working throttle body can completely change how a car drives. You need to get that LFP on there!
What tuning software are you using or is it like if you use M-squirt you have to use their software accordingly ?!!? Clueless on this side of things..I have a basic sctX4..but I’m really wanting to be able to change real parameters not ONLY have an email type tune where it takes a week to get revisions to an issue or a change..let me know how that works..thanks in advance
I use TunerStudio with the MS3. You can change stuff on the fly, even while your driving if you wanted to be that reckless lol. As for stock ecu, SCT is the better way to go as it supports EECV way better than HPTuners. Best route is learn how to tune and buy the SCT software, and/or find a tuner nearby and get close with them lol. Or you can switch to an MS3 and learn to tune with it. Actually a pretty easy to understand system with a whole boat load of features the stock ECU will never have.
@@904Saleen nice man! yeah i was poking around on SCT's site and noticed the software..was kind of hard to tell if it was a commercial type software for shops only or vendors or if it was able to be purchased by the public too..My background/work is in software engineering/cyber security and my main hobby has always been cars so i feel like the computer side of tuning cars i could be pretty good at as well as kind of have a headstart advantage at. last question here arent you in the southeast? i ask because im in northeast AL and far as i know of there are no "REAL" or known muscle car tuners near me that i know of at least..if you are in the south east and know of a tuner you trust with in a 4 hour drive let me know..thanks again man
@@SVT-ISSUED yes I’m over in Jacksonville FL. We have a good tuners here in our area. Andrew from Mustang Lifestyle tuned my car on both HPTuners, and now on the MS3. Tony Gonyon from Tuners Inc did my original SCT tune. There’s a few more tuners around here my friends have gone to that I ask about and reply if I find anything more out
