What stall converter did you go with? My friend caprice made 440 wheel and a big Yank stall 4k also you won’t regret upgrading the rear end gears!!! It’ll move super quick

Yeah I think 3.42s are his next move in this car. Definitely a better gear set for what he's trying to do than the factory 2.92

This car still has a factory converter in it as the BTR Stage 1 V2 doesn't require a higher stall.

So far so good. I did end up going back and making the wiring a lot nicer. Currently working through rewiring my heat exchanger fans as well.

I'm in the middle of a tork tech swap on my 01 bullitt right now. dual afco heat exchanger and thinking this will be my best bet. I did not get the fan kit for my intercooler and am contemplating that now.. ​@@904Saleen

We didn’t end up installing the second one due to having some extra crap in the area that’s from Saleen. But most people replace the factory ground from the driver side motor mount to the frame rail.

@@904Saleen So that factory ground you mentioned in the video. It’s normally recommend to remove it and replace with the new bigger gauge ground?

@@chez51san The kit should have a basic wiring diagram in it. The second ground would go from the battery to the engine somewhere. There's a bolt right on the edge of the cylinder head that would make a great place to put that ground.

They have a similar impeller, though the KMJ version has a slightly larger inlet and outlet inner diameter as well as a different impeller design inside. The biggest difference though is that it features a brushless motor compared to the Bosch pumps which are brushed. This means quieter and cooler operation, the ability to move more fluid, and a longer lifespan.

A guy in the Saleen community makes these heat shields that can be installed before the blower which help direct the air into the intercooler rather than bypassing it. For mine, I installed it and then silicone RTV'd the remaining gaps so it has a nice seal with the intercooler. I've seen some people use a thick air duct foil tape to seal the gaps with similar results as well which is a much cheaper fix.

Hard to diag without seeing what its doing. Is this an auto or manual car? Also are you still running the stock MAF/Fuel Injectors? The car should run fine with the mods you listed, but if you changed the MAF or fuel injectors without a tune it would throw everything off.

@@904Saleen it's manual and I did change the fuel injectors but should be OE just blue colored as I felt that was the problem originally and bought new to switch it

@@aaronbehrenwald1513 do you have the part number from the old injectors and the new ones?

Best bet is just putting your original ECU back in and having it flashed to convert to a manual. The car will run just fine with the engine light and overdrive flashing. I'd just look into getting your original ECU tuned. Was your computer you installed for the same year as your car? The 1999-2000 ecus seems to not always place nice with the 2001-04 cars and vice versa.

@@904Saleen The computer I installed came out my 2000 mustang GT manual and it worked because I put my gauge cluster and ignition in it but my ac stayed on without the switch turn on and the rear defroster was on as well without pushing the button. I put everything back like it was now the damn AC won't come on unless I switch that brain that's in the passenger side fender to the 2000 mustang but if I leave the 2001 mustang brain plug in the fan works when the car is running to it's temperature. I need to find someone that works on mustangs because I'm getting tired of playing with it. Everything worked fine when I had the 2001 computer in it. It just has the service engine light and overdrive light blinking ever since I put that 2000 model computer and gauge cluster and ignition in it. The shit is throwed off now for some reason
