Home schooling has some state requirements, however, a great path for parents to explore. My heart is with those soldiers 🇺🇸 in “BHD” as for “Trumps” campaign, negative press is positive press.

13:15 this point is totally true. What good is arithmetic if one doesn't know how to keep a budget with it? What good is trigonometry if one doesn't know how to use it for navigation, surveying, or construction? What good is literature and language if one doesn't know how to use it to progress and articulate complex thought to the masses? What good is history if we don't know how to use it to critically think in the present to make a better future? The schools, and our parents for not realizing this, failed us and are failing our children now by passing them with knowledge that is useless to them since they don't teach how it should be applied. I learned exponentially more from 22 to 27 years of age than I did from 5 to 22 with a bachelor's to boot. I didn't know how to write a check at 22 let alone balance a budget.

When it comes to community schooling don't forget. National private school tuition average is $12,594
If you and your neighbor have 4 kids and are willing to pay for tutoring at that rate you can hire a teacher for over $50,000 a year with a 4:1 student teacher ratio. Which I suspect would be much better education quality than the average.
Now imagine if your neighborhood has 8 students but 4 parents willing and able to contribute half a day each week. You could hire a tutor who only needs to work 3 days a week that same rate for only $6,250 a year per student. You could likely get better and higher quality tutor/teachers than you'd find at even the best schools in your area. Or perhaps even hire the best teachers in your area to substitute teach in your community for a little extra.
I suspect many teachers out there would LOVE for the opportunity to teach higher than average pupils with higher than average parent involvement at higher wages than the state would be willing to pay.

Yeah Trump is not the answer, and I don't know if there is one at this point. It's going to take more than 1 man that's for sure. Trump also only has 4 years, and is the most hated person in the country who will only get more people out to vote against him. Even if he does somehow win, he needs both the house and senate to get anything done. Good luck with that. Republicans have lost every election since 2018 under Trump's "leadership". And it's mainly Trump candidates who can't win anywhere besides deep red states, or districts.

Mike, I respect the hell out of you, especially for dumping that Firecracker right down your throat! I also agree with almost all of your views and beliefs. I'd even vote for you if you ran for president. But as an Asian-American, I do not have an ounce of respect for Trump. His "kung flu" and "China flu" remarks rained down hell upon my brothers and sisters for the past 3+ years in this country and I can't get past that. The lower-IQ segments of our society saw it as an invitation to take out their racist beliefs on all Asians in America. Even to the level of people covering their mouths and noses when in our proximity or moving to the other side of the street when walking past us or just constant dirty looks...all the way to brutal beatings and murder. There has to be a better candidate who doesn't act like a 3 year old (or a 90 year old) for this country to recover.

For me personally there's about a 50% chance I'll vote for the libertarian candidate whoever that is. A 30% chance I'll vote for Trump and a 10% chance I'll vote for the Constitutionalist candidate whoever that is and a 10% chance I'll vote for a different gop nominee

Trump’s longest serving Chief of Staff, John Kelley, did a recent interview with the Atlantic. If Trump was so great, why are the men who actually worked with him and served this country for decades, like Kelley or Mattis, telling you why you shouldn’t vote for him? Well who is better right now? We're going through an early maoist style cultural revolution with American characteristics. Trump has all the right enemies, and a man's enemies say a lot about what he is indirectly. Probably need someone like that to start to deal with that issue at the national level. But aside from him, we all better start stepping up locally, at our churches and all institutions to get a handle on this.
