MSNBC’s Michael Steele spoke to New Hampshire Congresswoman Annie Kuster about what could finally drive a wedge between the former President and the Republican Party.

@@georgehk2935 the gas prices were low in 2020, because nobody was driving, sling blade. The reason it's so high now, is because the oil companies are trying to recoup the money they lost during the pandemic. Gas was 1.99 in 2015 while people were actually driving. Nice try Karen. 🤓🤓🤓

I have been voting for 50 years in five different states and never did my presidential primary vote count for anything. It is time to share the early states with all the other states on a rotating basis.
I've always thought that it was insane that the primaries take so long. All states should vote at once, and it should be tiered choice voting. Imagine being in one of the states that votes first, and you realize your choice is losing, and by the third month you're wishing you could change it to someone else because the candidate you can't stand has been coming out ahead, right in front of your second choice....
There is no compromise too great, no amount of mental gymnastics too complex in their pursuit of a neo-fascist theocracy.

There have been many occasions to point out that Trumpism has subordinated the factual side of things to catering to the emotional needs of some who are too frightened or angry (or both) about important facts that they are unable to think about facing in a sensible way.
But Trumpism also operates in a way that narrows the scope of the principles that are always mutually relevant in some pattern in every political conversation. For a list of such principles, see the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution: a more perfect Union, Justice, Domestic Tranquility, General Welfare, Liberty. Are they all equally relevant in any actual or practical circumstance? Of course not. There are different grades of relevance among them as applied to different sets of facts and circumstances.
But that is why politics is a conversation and not a war.

Some things that Trump did initiate contributed to our supercharged economy. Indeed, he is probably the best friend Democrats ever had.
1. Very early on Trump initiated our iconic JFK tax plan that supercharged the economy during that time and brought us a supercharged economy with full employment at 33.3%. We were also energy independent in the worlds leading producer of energy according to the independent EIA.
2. Prison reform was a Democrat party platform issues. Through executive order Trump initiated prison reform and pardoned the sentence of several minority individuals, several of them women who were serving life terms for relatively minor drug crimes.
3. Lower drug prices has been a Democrat party platform issue for years. Through executive order Trump required that the federal government negotiate with pharmaceutical companies to obtain a lower price.
We have to remember that he also removed bureaucratic roadblocks which brought us to COVID-19 vaccines in record time. He also initiated, “operation warp speed” to speed these vaccines to the states. Even Joe Biden had to complement him on operation warp speed.
