Like at least one other person commented, I just smacked the back left corner where the control board is located 3 or 4 times and...it fixed the problem. No disassembly required!

Thank you! I didn't even have to open it up. My son gave it a good "whack" on the side which was enough to reset the relay. He called it the "Slamsung" technique. Actual Samsung customer service was pathetic. Dryer is only 2 years old. They offered to repair for almost $400 or give me a $50 discount on purchase of new unit.

Thanks so much for taking the time to post this helpful video. Woke up yesterday morning and went downstairs to find the dryer still running from the night before. Open the door and it stops; close the door and it starts back up. Anyway, I found your video and checked the two relays. Sure enough, the one had continuity across the terminals with the dryer off and unplugged. I tapped it a few times, and it went open. What a relief! It’s only been a day, but so far it hasn’t stuck again. Thank you!

Called lowes they sent me to Samsung, which sent me back to lowes because the warranty expired. Good thing I had purchased the extended warrantee 2 years ago but lowes said I'd have to wait two weeks for the service man to come from Samsung. We bought Samsung front loading washer and dryer about 3 years ago. I had to replace the drain pump in the washer and that was quite a job but I found a great you tube that showed how to disassemble the washer to get to the pump. (I also found a couple of videos to help me troubleshoot what the heck was wrong). We found the new pump at an appliance parts store in Manchester NH and the washer now works great.
Today was the 3rd time (about 8 months apart?) that the relay got stuck. It took 5 min to fix it.
    Thanks so much

Success! I have same model Samsung as in video. Unplugging the power cord for 15 minutes didn't work for me. Tapping hard on the top-left corner of metal case without disassembling didn't work for me. Only the method in this video worked: Unscrew and remove the top metal panel. Unscrew the metal case holding the circuit board. Then I tapped each of the 2 black boxy relay cases, as hard as I could with the screwdriver handle, about 15 times. Reassembled. Worked. Much thanks!

Yep, happened to me as well. Dryer was 2 years and 2 months old. I live by myself so I use the dryer maybe 2 times per week so it is not overly used. I could not get to my dryer myself due to how it is set up in my kitchen.
So I had to call Samsung and he came with a new mother board. I asked him to try to just tap on the cables as you suggested. However, he told me it would happen again so I let him replace the motherboard. $80 service call $80 labor (4 min instillation for new board if that). $145 for the new board so for a grand total of $329 it was fixed. It came with a 90 day warranty (why not a one year I asked him)? I wish I had read the reviews on this washer/dryer combo and would have perhaps avoided the headache as well as the cost.

This is the second time I watched this video. First time my wife did it and it worked. A year or two later it needed to be done again so I did it myself and woohoo. Worked again. Thank you. Saving money is always the best!

You are awesome!!! I was all aggravated that I'd have to buy a new board. I still may have to, but this has it working for now. Thank you.
