I will come here again after a few years, just to see what appened (now in the making: one special episode and two seasons of 12 episodes each) ... Holy Moly.
As of today, those wonderful people raised $5,000,000 to show this amazing game to all the people who love them. An achievement dwarfed by the amount of gratitude and love every Critter feels for the people at that table. Thank you Critical Role.
Ahh I see, this is Taliesin at his young adult years aka before Taliesin's eldritch powers became the level they are now. Before he congealed all of his hair into the majestic mohawk of a fully grown eldritch god upon which his power was contained in the golden snitch.
No it's an infernal color that mortal technology cannot capture and mortal eyes can barely register. Seeing it's true color drives you mad, so your brain tries to protect you by seeing a regular human hair color.
At this point, they didn't know how big they'd be. Now, they finished a highly successful campaign that started 5 years ago(2 Pre-stream) & are, more than likely, the biggest & best thing to happen to D&D. Congrats on a great run!!
I binged watched this show for 3 months straight when I found it. I did nothing but went to work, came home, and watched Critical Role and I have to say it was some of the best 3 months of my life. :D
@@nobodyknows9312 the reasons were pretty obvious. He didn't get along with anyone in the group after the show started, and tried to take control of the narrative on multiple occasions. Man I am so glad I found Critical Role. Watching you DM has actually helped me become a better DM and successfully scare the shit out of my players with monsters, demons, giant, and even a zombie dragon! I even started to use "How do you want to do this?" I'm currently writing another story right now for them to use. Thanks for being an inspiration!
This was fantastic. Could anyone at that table have predicted what an incredible and inspirational show this would become? That you all created your own subculture motivating and inspiring people to create great things? Pretty amazing stuff. Thanks for all the work you guys do
it amazes and astounds me that this doesn't have more views. i put out absolute garbage, actual shitposting (tiktoks), and it blows up into millions of views in days. But this. this is so special. this group of friends has truly retaught me what it means to be human. the power they hold is immeasurable and has nothing to do with a view count. Getting big "Beatles in Hamburg" moment with this footage. I know they're all famous already, but this footage just makes me remember how it all started with friends around a table, playing D&D.
wow these guys are so cool i wish i could see more of them. too bad they don't have one of the most popular TTRPG channels on the internet and have 8 years of content, that would sure be sick.
It feels like something has been taken away from me because i know i will never live to see the starting days of Vox Machina no matter how much id love to have seen this 😅

TayTay Tastic PenandPaperGames.com might help you find a gaming group in your area :) Possibly not one as unbeatably awesome as the #CriticalRole crew though :D
I love how this is probably the battle against Brimscythe that is being displayed there (hence the blue dragon) and now, 8 years later, we all got to watch how they killed him in Legend of Vox Machina. HAHAHA Fucking amazing.
The line about the badge or "silver star" was the same on used in Vasselheim when Keyleth (and Tibs?) got arrested for trying to help Grog in the first Crucible battle. Am I sniffing script or is that just coincidence?
Imagine being part of that group, such an awesome thing to be involved with. Some people have amazing opportunity in life, im glad to be someone who gets to watch and enjoy it. Thanks Vox Machina, thank you internet.
This video must have the most peaking audio I've seen in a while. Am I the only one who thinks that Matt should start making videos for his channel again? Like vlogs and just messing around? =)
It makes me emotional knowing that these nerds are still doing all the same shit they did around kitchen table, just in a studio with all sorts of fancy gadgets
Can I just say how amazing critical roll is! I have been watching it since it came out on youtube and it has been one of the few things I can depend on to cheer me up. I didn't expect it to become as meaningful as it did. You guys are amazing and I love you all! All the best! Thank you all.
So that's where the flying carpet comes from :) You guys are awesome. It's a blast watching you play every week, and I can only imagine how fun it must be for you !
It's Feb 2023, two beautiful seasons of Legend of VM dropped and Mighty Nein's been green lit. Somebody wake me up when they inevitably buy Evermore and convert it into Critical Role Land because the craziest claims made about this group have already come through
Is there any chance you might put up a competition or something where you could win like a weekend of D&D withy you guys? It would be the BEST price EVER! :D

Sounds really fun, me and my friends are thinking about getting into d&d but were probably gonna wait for the 5th edition to come out. Like the monster manual and whatnot in a few weeks, looks alot more simplified. I hope we can achieve this level of epicness.
Man these guys are pretty good. Maybe they should do one of those dnd podshows or streamcasts or something
Neh, they'd never make it
there's already a ton of them, finding success there is a kick in the dark, it could easily go south

Reed Brummitt till they got the second, bigger rug!
