You're in my stomping grounds using my chitter crawl you got to be kidding me That's awesome same color and everything lol. Once you learn how to fish it you love it people complain about alum Creek I'm like don't fish it then. Kick ass video What a great reservoir.
Definitely one I’m going to be using more of! That was my first time trying it out. I’ve had lots of dudes complain about it too. Saying they arent catching fish....clearly they are in there!
This makes me look forward to living in Lewis Center!! I am originally from Dayton but have lived in NC for the last 5 years. They didn't have any smallmouth where I was living. They are by far my favorite species to hook! #tightlines and I hope to see you guys on the water!
Sorry to hear you’ve been sheltered the last 5 years! I usually like to get into the creeks around here. That’s where the fun is!! Alum definitely has some beauties though
Rack Em and Reel Em the coves are and if you fish the pockets on the other side of Africa road away from the lake you are good. The entire north side about 36/37 is no wake
Only fished Alum one time on a fathers day tournament a few years back and roadwork had a few ramps closed. What a mess that was hahahaha. Loved the lake though. Could only boat 4 that day. Boat traffic was insane. Great vid. Liked n Subscribed
Yeah man the boat traffic is horrible on weekend during the summer and the construction seems like it always going on! I fished the Father’s Day tourney this year. We killed it on the prefish but sucks on tourney day. Had a limit but it wasn’t that impressive. It’s a awesome fishery!
Yes it’s gorgeous. The perfect place to fish. It has it all. Every type of structure you’d ever wanna fish. The rock bass are pretty common out here. Mainly in creeks though for the most part. That smallie was a incredible fish man!!
Idk man I fished there last weekend and only caught 3 fish. 2 were almost 4lbs but still only caught 3. Water levels are down. Makes it a challenge unless you are great at catching smallies
Thanks you. I would have recorded it but my camera blew out. I only caught fish in the middle pool toward the top. 3rd pool toward the bottom I seen dudes who won the tourney fishing there
@@dustinc30 nice. I might focus one of the side channels tho as I kinda want to catch largemouth and I assume they’re not in the main lake anymore. The rain seemed to bring the water up a bit.
Hello I have a bass tournament there on may 8th and have never fished alum and I was wondering if you could help me out with spots and what to throw if possible btw you guys killed them 👍🏻
Great video. 👍
That is great catch.
Thanks man!
very cool video!
Thanks man!
Kickass video I know exactly everywhere you guys are been fishing Alum for 35 years.
Sometimes you can lead a horse to water.....I mean fisherman
Beautiful Smallmouth Bass 👏
Thanks man!

@@dustinc30 That's cuz they do the same thing every time like idiots. 😂
I don't even use rubber worm there cuz I catch muskies sometimes on them.
Bo Pitbull I’ve had that happen a few times! Just ends up being a clean cut almost every time on the hook set
Nice fish man!! Love this place!!
Thanks man! It’s such a perfect place to fish. Had not to wanna fish it every time I go out
Awesome fishing!!! I love how you landed that big smallie without any aid. Patience!!
Thanks man! I was telling him no way am I catching my pb by using a net! Not happening
You should post more your videos are awesome
Thanks man! Appreciate the support
I rarely even use anything but dark natural chitter crawl if I run out I'll use chunks I run a lot of buzzbait there too I'm sure you do too.
I haven’t had a ton of luck on the buzzbait there this year personally. Only have caught a few
Nice vid keep up the good work tight lines🤙
Thanks man! You as well
Some solid fish my man! Cool video

@@dustinc30 I'm gonna go everywhere I can to get a line wet. New places are always my fave!
Agreed! Definitely been a struggle for me to find time this year. Hope to be doing the same the rest of the summer and fall
That was a productive outing to say the least my friend. Good work! Smallmouth was a decent chunk and congrats on the PB!
Thanks man! He was almost 20
Alum creek isn't too far from where I am from I'll have to take my kayak out their some time ! Good fish bud !!
Definitely suggest it! Especially this fall. I bet the bite is going to be insane. It was tough fishing all summer but there’s massive bass there!
@@dustinc30 sounds awesome is it always calm water because I'm in a kayak and I'm not trying to flip 😂

Beautiful place...but I've never seen that breed before 4:25

That catch at 8:34 though...

Dude we caught our PB's in the same week, nice!
That’s awesome man! Congrats on yours!
Some solid bass man! I always think its cool when you land a large mouth with the dark spots.
I agree! Beautiful fish! Ive caught several but none that were the size of that one. Thanks for watching man
What part of the lake were you on here? North end or South?
me and some friends are going out there for a fishing trip but we don’t have a boat, is the bass fishing good from the bank?
Honestly never tried it from the bank. I’ve either used a boat or kayak
Dat smallmouth tho !!
It was a awesome fish man!
I’m heading to alum next week for the first time. Any tips? Also great vid.

@@dustinc30 got it thanks, in my experience fishing reservoirs low waters are difficult. I’ll just focus more of the main lake I guess. I subbed also.

I’m fishing a 2 day tourney this weekend actually!
I’ll try to record it so you can see. This will be my first time out this year
Ok sweet I’ll drop you a sub and a like I’m clueless and have no idea how to catch them 😂
I’ve caught that largemouth before with the spot on it exact same fish 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ they aren’t the brightest
That’s a fact! Gotta love it though. It was a gorgeous bass
I know it’s a lot to ask for but do you think you could give me a shout out I have one ready for you in my latest video
