China has a lot to teach the world about the success of its poverty alleviation program. But, there is the need to first break down the mental, almost insurmountable barrier of Capitalism versus Communism. A divisive concept which the politicians in their quest for power continuously straighten or edify. Maybe, the United Nations General assembly can focus on the China model, and let the rest of the world take it from there.

Imagine visiting your village/town or the village/town of your grandparents and parents, and seeing rapid change in it from hotels, modern houses, apartment buildings, infrastructure and shopping centres, to the point that you don’t even recognise it anymore.
Imagine the most modern city such as Shanghai and Beijing, becoming more and more modern to the point that in 5 years, it introduces so many new things, that you can’t keep up.
Imagine that your grandparents house in a village is worth £20,000 and within 3 decades, their house in a relocated area is worth £200,000. That’s what China has done by relocating people from rural areas, offering jobs, skills and creating demand for property.
Thats what China has done and it’s beautiful. Most rural, backward or run down areas become WORSE with time, to the point that they become no-go zones but in China, they only become better. Expect better and the best in China.

In a large country like China, you can make good plans but it's impossible to control everything. So when western media portrayed those ghost cities we didn't deny, because we know there were lots of problems and also created lots of leverage.
Lucky, after 30 years crazy urbanization, now we almost get the job done. Next step, see if we can push the house price down so people could have more money to spend~

@@antediluvianatheist5262 Lol if this was India these people would be committing mass suicide. It was a news story when I was a kid and it's still a news story now. It's funny, in the worst way possible, how when communist governments make mistakes you get famines yet with capitalist governments the famines happen when everything goes just as they planned.

Infrastructures in Tibet is bad and left backwards, because Tibet is occupied country by China, therefore Chinese didn’t developed Tibet. Tibet was independent country before Chinese invasion. China must free Tibet and respect your neighbors country.
