If you made it all the way to the end of the lesson, I wanna say 수고했어요! Preparing for this class took a while because it's one heck of a complicated grammar ㅠ_ㅠ I wanna say 수고했어요 to myself as well :D Hope you find it helpful, and 이 문법에 대한 질문이 있으면 알려주세요~ (if you have any other questions related to this grammar, let me know~)
I've had this exact grammar question for weeks now. I've asked my korean friends and they tried to explain it, but they're not teachers, so I can't blame them for not being as in-depth. You made this so simple for me, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to make these videos for us. You're the best, really! Please always know how much you are helping Korean language learners, and how digestible you make the content for us. Thank you so much :)
도움이 돼서 진짜 기뻐요 🥰 그리고 기분 좋은 칭찬 해주셔서 고맙습니다 :))
Mam you are the best teacher in the world who teaches Korean in amazing way🙏🏻😌😌Lots of love from INDIA 🥰🥰🥰🥰

어머 쌤 너무 잘 가르치세요~!
I love the way you teach Korean! You are so fluent in English as well.
Thanks so much Miss Vicky 🥰
Thanks 빅키샘 for all the hard work preparing and explaining. This cleared up all the misconceptions I had learning this as a beginner when others mostly did not break down the cases as clearly as you have here. I love that you give examples in different nouns and verbs/adjs and grammar so we are exposed more while drilling this grammar in.
이런 강의 방법, 책펴고 진짜 공부하는 느낌입니다.
정말 감사합니다~~
This was super helpful, thank you so much for your efforts 💛

선생님..고맙습니다 💜💜💜💜💜💜
They are mam not sir
@@aparnasatishdeo3972 선생님 is not gender related.
@@aparnasatishdeo3972 may be you're confused because of 님 right?? 😄 it's okay.. 선생님 means teacher, it's spelled like this only and you can't spell it without 님 it's itself a word. 🥰 have a nice day
I feel like I misread so many korean sentences not knowing this grammar! This is the first time I come across it in a yt lesson.. Your channel is very helpful to me thank you so much for your effort in making this lesson 🙏
This was so helpful as I came across this sentence: "빚쟁이는 뭔 내가 왜 빚쟁이를 무서워해요?". So at first I thought 무섭다 meant scary and 무서워하다 meant scared which would make sense with the use of the object marker there. And it would coincide with how people teach 좋다(to be good) vs 좋아하다(to like). Later I learned that actually 무섭다 means both scared and scary and 무서워하다 is just used for a 3rd person. But then in the sentence the subject is 내가. Only now I learn that 아/어요 and 아/어해요 can be used for both the 1st person and the 3rd person they just have a slightly different nuance.
I feel I can understand a bit better now, but I agree it is complicated
when modifying 고 싶다 to describe a noun
가고 싶은 사람
Or 가고 싶어 하는 사람
i saw the first one a lot
but
isn't it a 3rd person desire?
or both are correct?
Such a good question
Is adjective that ends in hada a verb or an adjective? I'm looking forward for your response.. 선생님께서 잘 해셨어서 감사합니다. 빅키샘께 저한테 한국어를 가르쳐서 아추 너무 감사합니다
맞아요~ Some 하다 ending words are verbs (like 공부하다, 운동하다, 운전하다, 요리하다 etc) but some other words are adjectives (like 건강하다, 행복하다, 섭섭하다, etc.) There isn't one clear tip that helps you distinguish whether it's an adjective or verb, you'd just have to memorize the meaning and which group (verb or adj) each word belongs to.
Sonsengnim is there any method i can cantact you.. i need some information regarding to korea.. please help me 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Hi Miss Vicky! Love your lessons! Thank you very much! I have a question about your last sample sentence:
선생님은 지수만 예뻐하시고 저는 미워하세요.
In this sentence, 선생님 and 저 use the topic marking particle 은/는. Wouldn't this make possible for the listener to interpret the sentence as if we were contrasting 선생님 and 저, meaning that 선생님 loves Jisoo, whereas 저 hates her?
Hello! Not at all in this case, because the verb 미워하세요 is combined with -세요, which makes a verb an honorific. Honorifics are never used when the subject is I(저), unless you’re trying to make a joke.
Oh I got it. Indeed, this makes the sentence totally clear. Thank you very much for you clarification!
선생님
This example sentence 19:00 "손님이 매워할까 봐...
Please explain this sentence structure because at first I got confused
I thought it was the 손님 who is spicy and not the food
So please explain so I don't get confused when I come across sentences like this
And also by 16:50 where you said 이불을 덮어줬어요
I confused the translation with 'I covered the blanket' instead of "I covered WITH the blanket"

Mam, can you please short your video if possible and cover every thing, it takes such a long time, if you take class for 40 minutes it takes like 4-5 hours learn and write. So please do the needful thing.
