This GPU sure is small. My Lenovo T5 with MSI RTX 3070 is so huge that it blocks both NVMe slots. My Asus GTX 1660 Super GPU on my other PC is like 4-5 times as large as the one in the video too. Great video, but sadly is way too different from my T5 as even fans in mine is king sized.

For some reason my Intel m2 ssd from an older gaming laptop is not recognized in either of the m2 slots on this Lenovo 3717 motherboard. Works great in the old laptop while in this one the BIOS doesn't see it at all. Tried switching the original m2 ssd that came with T5 and it works in both ports.
Thanks for this video, but I have a question. Does installing a second m.2 in the second slot disable the SATA ports? I know on most motherboards they share a bus, so populating the second m.2 will disable some or all SATA ports. Is this the case on this motherboard?
You got that right in general. I am now using 2 x NVMe SSDs, and 1 x 1TB HDD occupied SATA1 with zero issues. I also use external hard drives through 3.0 USB ports with zero problems. I don't use SATA2 SATA3 SATA4 port. I have not tried 4th storage on SATA2~4 port yet. And your concern made me to plan a next project experiment. Thanks. Just letting you know my Lenovo Legion T5 28IMB05 Desktop equipped with a fairly low-end quality motherboard. My motherboard don't even equipped with a low-end heatsink on motherboard chipset (PCH) and that caused computer malfunctions sometimes because of overheating on PCH. After researching the cause in various ways, I found that the PCH overheating can cause the computer malfunction. PCH on low-end motherboards don't have a heat sink or cooling fan, so they can't cool the PCH. The Lenovo Legion T5 desktop computer was no exception. As a solution, I found a cooling device that would reliably cool down the PCH temperature. It is called Northbridge Heatsink cooler. After installing the Northbridge Heatsink cooler, it cooled the PCH above 147 degrees Fahrenheit to around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Since then, none of these abnormal computer malfunctions have occurred again. The computer malfunction related to abnormal PCH heating temperature has been resolved. Unfortunately, however, the PCH cooler does not fit to the Lenovo Legion T5 Gaming desktop motherboard mount hook wire exactly. Lenovo Legion T5 motherboard configuration does not follow the standard motherboard specification. However, you won't need worrying about a fitting issue if you use a standard motherboard configuration other than Lenovo. What is your computer model number? and motherboard brand name and model name? As a workaround, you can use wire, zip ties, or paper clips to securely bind the PCH cooler hook wire to the motherboard. The Northbridge Heatsink cooler can be used as an upgrade method for not only Lenovo Legion T5 desktop computers, but also other manufacturers' motherboard PCH heat dissipation features. The Northbridge Heatsink cooler comes with a thermal compound and a thermal pad Before installing the Northbridge Heatsink cooler, make sure that there is no space-constrained interference between the graphics card and the PCH cooler. Reminder, if you have a graphics card better than 1660 super, as you can see in the attached video, the overall length of the graphics card is too long, so you cannot install a PCH cooler. I just tested and confirmed that Lenovo Legion T5 28IMB05 recognized three extra 3.5 HDD through SATA 1~3 ports while 2 x NVMe SSD slots are occupied. I believe that Lenovo Legion T5 has zero issue on between 2 x NVMe M.2 SSDs and the remaining SATA ports, because Lenovo Legion T5 motherboard engineered lessor SATA ports than normal standard ATX motherboard. However, it is amazing the Lenovo Legion engineers put their effort to make this desktop model in order to free of the 10th gen intel motherboard issue.

I added 16.GB DDR4 RAM (3200.Mhz) Corsair Vengeance, in my Lenovo T5. No problems.
My T5 have MSI RTX 3070 and AMD Ryzen 9 5000X.

@@09lifehack unlikely. The older one is SATA while the mobo supports NVMe ssd's, so there shouldn't be an issue as far as I can see.

It is a 'socket wrench driver' available at any local store such as walmart or homedepot, or you can simply use a long nose pliers. Good luck!!
