Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

This is the moment Huell Babineoux became Coushatta's firefighting church hero.
LMAFAO
Lol
Ya, Cher
I mean, you’re not wrong
🤣🤣🤣🤣Jimmy’s southern preacher accent: “We’re gonna bring the whole congregation.” Do he talk like this?
this scene really demonstrates how incredibly powerful huell is. he managed to knock a full grown man to the ground with a sandwich. he probably wouldve killed him if he used his fists
lol and some cans of soda but yea
Cop is lucky he only used 0.0000000000001% of his power
Well I mean fat people kinda pack a punch more
A sandwich, by itself, doesn’t have enough mass, and isn’t structurally strong enough, to knock somebody down.
@@randbarrett8706 maybe it was stale bread
Huell is so noble and loyal, he is willing to sacrifice his convenience store munchies to protect his friends.
Hank made him confess tho
@@p2kCrimeI mean the plan he used was smart, and Saul was gone for good so I didn’t blame him
So basically Huell just saw that the guy was having a verbal fight with Jimmy and his reaction was to smack him so hard with a sandwich bag that he drops on the ground. Kind of extreme. Only makes you realise how much of a big deal it is to keep him reasonably happy.
Lets make sure you have the 2 highest liked comments
@@fulcrum5849 I would like that.. reasonably /-_-\
HAHAHAHHA
butttt whilst your point has merit to it, after what happened to Jimmy when peddling those phones before, any kind of threat should be taken seriously by Huell ygm
@@GTACIP yes right.. but it's beautiful that Jimmy treated him like a great friend and kept him along forever until his demise. Maybe by the end of it all, Huell was his only friend.
We need another spinoff ~ Better Fuel Huell
Better keep huell happy
With picpocketing contracts, bags of sandwiches to hit out-of-uniform, away-facing cops who drive unmarked cars, and kind, loving lies from pseudo-residents of Coushatta, Louisiana to the ADA.
We do need another spinoff. One that features Gus back in South America, and Mexico.
Stop stealing comments jackass
Can't Fool Huell
Saul : he is a cop
Huell : reasonably
Let's admit it, Huell's the best friend we all want to have
Nah man he's getting paid. Skinny Pete is tha man
Reasonably.
But he was going to jail and he was gonna take it like a champ so he's still solid like Mike's men... Even if they are getting paid.
huell is sigma
Or the one we should be
i love how quickly saul clocked him as a cop lol
Well who else starts by asking your name? They're trained in stablishing facts for the case
He knew he was a cop the minute he showed him the business card that Saul did not give him.
@@blakedevitt6948 yeah he probably thought wait a minute this guy still has all his teeth
Late as but he probably clocked the antenna on the trunk. Maybe its just me but the average sedan doesn't sport an antenna on the rear unless its an undercover cop.
@@hrnytinoker4146 that’s a great observation. Saul’s an expert in reading people. After all, he wouldn’t be a very successful conman if he couldn’t spot a cop from a mile away.
Imagine: You're a hardened beat cop dealing with a sudden surge of untraceable burner phones in the hands of criminals. With some detective work, you track the phones to a lone peddler, a guy dressed like a wannabe Slavic gangster named Saul Goodman. As you confront him about his shady business, he looks over your shoulder yelling "No, no, no, no, no, he's a cop!" before a bag of sandwiches explodes against the side of your head and fireworks go off behind your eyes.
This comment is poetry
I mean, the guys allowed to sell the phones to whomever he wants. He’s not committing any crimes just selling phones right? The officer could’ve handled it better.
@@matthewriley7826 Yeah but the cop was trying to do what was moral in this situation. While Saul is legally right the officer is allowed to ask him to stop.
@@abigbutterstick1780 and Saul is allowed to decline.
@@FlyingPenguin196 Of course he is. However Huell isn't allowed to assault someone for talking to his boss.
The song that Huell is listening to is the 2007 version. This episode takes place in 2001-3. Huell is confirmed a time traveller
Huell needs to listen to the best bangers to be reasonably happy. Even if said bangers are from the future

@@Dapal0710 cops are unmistakable. Feds are hard to spot
Huell Babineoux is easily my favorite side character. Him knocking out a cop with a damn sandwich sealed the deal for me.
Ngl if Huell hit me with a sandwich I'd probably ask him to marry me
Subway or jersey mikes?
I'd probably die
Unless he uses 1% of his power. Then you would no longer have a head to ask.
No that's gay
@@Littlemiddleman123You are what you eat, little buddy ❤
I find it funny that over the course of 2 entire TV series, the only time we see Huell actually take action as an enforcer is smacking a guy with a sandwich.
It's quite amazing how good they made Bob look despite his age
Hes ugly to begin with lol.. Hollywood actually does hire ugly casts
Totally! I'm always shocked when I see a photo of him today and then it makes sense how they make him look "older" in the black and white scenes...

I mean honestly, what was that cop's business? He was threatening Jimmy for doing something completely legal.
American cops for you. Always finding trouble
@@SuperValue350 bully's
Piss off with that "completely legal" bullshit. Jimmy was being a scumbag and the cop was trying to stop him from willingly helping criminals. Plain and simple.
The cop was doing his job.
@@METALLICARULES11 and Jimmy was respectfully declining with helping him do his job :)
He was effectively helping drug dealers to reduce their chance of getting caught, by selling them these phones. It may have been legal but it certainly wasn't right
I can't believe this horrible police officer would attract Huell's kindness and in turn gets a delicious free sandwich from him and then completely lie about it. Our dear Huell only wants to give to those in need.
Poor Huell. Such a reasonably loyal friend, and a great member of the community!
“It sounds like I’m sending Santa Claus to the Electric Chair!”
That judge was kind of annoying. ADA Erickson? Even more so.
It's more impressive when you realize that that sandwich was the most important thing in Huell's life atm

Huell’s reaction was a bit extreme, but that cop really was being a fool. Yeah, Saul’s selling to criminals, but he’s not breaking the law. Someone else pointed out that he should’ve played the long game instead and followed those who buy the phones, then arrested them when they later sell drugs.

I love Bob's voice. I love it so much.
he's a cop :/
Bill burr vibes
He's a cup! 🥺
I like to think the stress of working for Jimmy caused him to gain massive amounts of weight, it’s a fun way to excuse why he’s a hundred pounds lighter in the prequel than the main series 😂😂
Yeah and it's good to see the actor getting fitter.
I mean unlike Brad he's only getting fatter, not spontaneously being fat in scenes where we know he isn't. It's not unrealistic per se.
I'm in awe of how calmly Saul said: "He's a cop." and the look on Huell's face. That's what the man gets paid to do. Just doing his job, whether it's saving parishioners from a raging inferno or cold-cocking overly hostile plain clothed cops.
Huell was really vibin' on that song

This was the moment that Huell wasn’t happy (reasonably)
We need El Huell: A Better Call Saul Movie.
Huell is such a cool dude that he is willingly to sacrifice his lunch to protect Jimmy.
2:31 this is the moment where Huell was reasonably unhappy
You have to understand how much Huell sacrificed for doing it
In an alternative timeline this police officer sued apple cause of all the crimes people do with them
To be fair, the cop came up in an unmarked car, his only ID was in front of him, and it looked like he was harassing Saul with the headphones on. Was hitting him with a sandwich good? Probably not. But he was only doing his job, keeping his friend safe. Huell is a better man than that cop
One of the funniest scenes in the show, Huell turns up knowing nothing of the interaction between the off duty cop and Jimmy and just flat out knocks the guy unconscious, when I first saw this I couldn’t breathe
If someone the size of Huell hits you, doesn't matter what he hits you with, you WILL be going down, immediately. How quickly you can get back up depends on what he hit you with.
“Why don’t ya plant somethin’ somethin’ in my glove compartment.”
I just found out that Lavell Crawford is from my town St Louis. I grew up watching his stand up, but I never knew that. Pretty cool.
You know huell had to hold back 99.99999 percent of his power to not actually kill the guy
The song Huell's listening to is "Big Mamou" by Fernest Arceneaux
My god thanks
the song the guy in the car is listening to is tracey jane by greg hatwell
For anyone asking: Huell is listening to Big Mamou.
This is what happens if you don’t keep huell reasonable happy
Huell is always a mood.
He probably saw Two Stars in the top right of his screen
He should’ve got half a start for that 😂
You are the Nike salesman, huh? Because one of your clients wearing your shoes was busted today
i need the 6th season. Release itttttt
I know right? Back in early spring, they said it would be at least Summer 2022 before Season 6 airs. Even though they are started filming back in March right around the time that article was written.
I do know that Juan Bolsa, Don Eladio, and obviously Lalo will be returning for the 6th Season. Plus, Nacho, Gus, Mike, and all of the others.
@@blakedevitt6948 i need walter white and jesse pinkman too. I also need to know how saul ended up

Why would Huell destroy perfectly good sandwiches??
This is what happens if you make huel reasonably unhappy.
Imagine if it was a pimento cheese sandwich. Absolute chaos
Am i the only native spanish speaker that hears "se te mamo" in the song that huell is listening to
Ah no mames , es cierto
Now i cant unhear it aaaaa
Hahahahha now I can't unhear it, fuck
He says "Big Mamou" (and that's the name of the song) so you're not too far lol
This is why we keep Huell happy
bro didn't even hesitate 😂
To be fair, the cop is trying to illegally coerce a citizen and would likely try to find something bogus to go after him.
I lost my shit and laughed for straight 5 minutes when I watched this scene lmao 😂
While I believe that the cop had reason to request Jimmy to stop selling burner phones in that location it wasn't right of the cop to try to force him to move. Jimmy's in the legal right and that's the only thing cops should worry about
the way the music stays on and you hear the whole thing through huell's muffled ears is so funny
Huell usually would have have a fair chance if this got to court, because from his perspective all he saw was a guy a guy accosting his friend.
Usually.
I think you meant "reasonably".
Huel the real gangsta
The music Huell was listening to was not the music I expected Huell to be into at all.
Huell laid him out, Don't mess with Saul
Pretty satisfying when that cop got whacked on his head.
For those who don't know. Huell is named Lavel Crawford and is one of the funniest stand up comics ever. Look up his shorts. And you're welcome.
The blooper is hilarious because the actor who played the cop still went through with getting hit even tho lavell missed.
Huell is a real friend to see a guy giving you trouble only to immediately decide he has to die
I love how Saul isn't even that exasperated that his bodyguard assaulted a cop.
tony soprano approves 🤌🏽
Whaddaya gonna do
At exactly 2:32 we get a glimpse of Huell's top speed.
something about the word “sandwich” always makes me want one
I think you'll find that the case with a lot of foods. For example "ice cream".
Sandwich.
Are you hungry all of a sudden?
Huell is one of the most powerful characters in the multiverse. Up there with Superman, Goku, Omni man, one punch man and Hulk.
But can he BEAT Goku?
@@TheNinja94aIf Huell used half his true power, he could one shot Goku
My man said they use phones to sell drugs like the world hasn't sold drugs for years

"Okay, so as long as you make a buck, the whole world can just go in the crap -"
"Yeah"
crazy how no one ever talks about this line, it reveals so much.
That are just billionaires in a nut shell
Huel once knocked a man out with a sandwich
With a fookin sandwich
Saul: "He's a cop..."
Huell: "And..?"
More concerning is that the officer went down after being hit with a sandwich.
tbf there were canned drinks in that bag too
And this is where Huel became Hiesenburg
So this happens when Huell is not happy
That definitely sounds like the music someone from Coushatta would be listening to
Zydeco music! Comes from Louisiana
“Something stupid”
Part of Jimmy's PPD was that he was not supposed to associate with known "undesirables." I know Huel wasn't undesirable, but he had at least a run-in with the cop previously. I'm surprised they didn't put Jimmy in jail after this, just based on this fact. I mean, they were not willing to give Huel a break for assaulting a cop with a sandwich.
Saul : He's a cop.
Huell : And ?
This is what happens when you don’t keep Huell reasonably happy
These series are pure genius. Up there with Seinfeld and a very few others.
The fact that I saw a Seinfeld clip right before this and the fact that the shows are so unrelated makes this comment oddly specific.
Breaking Bad cast members have been in Seinfeld though.
And the fact that Bob Odenkirk was in seinfeld
I love Seinfeld but Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul completely blows that show out of the water
Every scene of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul is streets ahead of anything in Seinfeld.
2:37 "Are you telling me that a man just happens to fall like that?"
"NO...HE ORCHESTRATED IT...JIMMY..."
lol
How stale was that bread

This is where Jimmy starts losing hair as he makes money using his Saul Goodman doing buskness as name while wearing a tracksuit like he did sometimes in Breaking Bad, fhe metamorphosis is almost complete by the end of that season.
