Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

The positive reinforcement is on point. He'd make a good coach!
Gotta love how easily Ted just stepped aside and let two strangers into his house 3 seconds after opening his door, like who even does that?
You'd be absolutely surprised. He actually reacts like how a lot of middle class and up in a middle class and up neighborhood that's relatively safe would react. You know, the kinda neighborhood where you can probably leave your bike just laying about for a few hours or longer without issue. At that point, you're so confident that you're safe that you don't really think too much about it. You think everyone's civilized and the crazy stuff you watch on the news could never happen to you.
I think if you see Huell walking toward you, you’re gonna move tf out of his way lol

The whole point of Skylar doing this was so the IRS didn't look at them after Ted. What a silly thing

Saul: Errr! Wrong! A million times worse! You're a tax cheat!
Yep, but Ted got the moronic idea to shake down Skyler for more money and he knew full well if he went down she’d go with him.
Personally, I believe the main motivation behind it was simply the fact that Skylar had genuine feelings for Ted. She didn't want to see him face consequences.
@@EatTheAssPork she was his accountant and she actively helped him evade taxes. Of course the IRS would look into the evader’s accountant so of course skyler was worried

I like how huell has still managed to acquire the skills of being a master pickpocket. Despite having more the generic size and build and agility of a terrifying, burly enforcer.
I love the camerawork here 1:36 Huell is so intimidating!
Just like in Godfather, the oranges were a sign of a bad omen to Ted. Or just kicked his corpse lmao
Man the guy playing Ted did a really good job of portraying how much of an absolute loser he was.
I was actually scared when I first saw this cus I thought the guy died. But the best part was when skyler came to visit him in the hospital. She thought he was gonna report her or something, so she was ready to apologize. But then he was like “I’m sorry. I’ll never let this happen again.”. Then she took a long pause and told him “…Good…”. Or something like that.
" I thought the guy died" a shame he did not. He would have qualified for a Darwin award.
This is the moment Skyler became Heisenberg
Plot twist: Huell is secretly a Jedi. I mean how else could he get Ted to trip like that?
A true patriot.
You're right, now that I think about it. Huell saw that Ted was trying to escape, but he couldn't go as fast as he wanted to physically. So, to make sure Ted didn't get off scot free, he used the force to lift the carpet that Ted tends to trip on by just an inch, and all that was needed was for Ted to not watch his step.
It all went according to plan. And they passed it off as an act of God.

That was a genuinely terrifying and horrifying fall.

Ted is the worst character on the entire show not because he misused the money Skyler gave him, but because he turned down 3 days of chilling with Huell and Kuby.
WHO DOES THAT?!
It's so cool they made a sequel to better call Saul
Notice how Huell did not say "I am Walter". This is a subtle hint to the fact that Huell is in fact not Walter, and that they are two completely separate characters with no correlation between them. Bravo Vince!

Needed this to get back up from the Saul Gone depression.

one of just two scenes in Breaking Bad that was done with a stunt double, the other being Walt's fall from the ledge onto the vat and floor in Fly
If ted just had a N64, they would have been playing Mario Party and having drinks… instead he chose the hospital 🏥
Imagine being intimidated by 2 hilarious stand up comedians
What I love about this scene is that they are speaking in such a way that Saul Goodman could definitely defend them in court. "My clients never actually threatened you, Mr. Beneke, did they?"
It's clear they've been coached, and I'm here for the subtle writing.
Yeah probably a he said she said situation where they claim that Ted fully invited them in and there were no threats. Ted can claim otherwise but hard to prove in court.
Whoever came up with that title deserves an award.
Moral of breaking bad: make huell reasonably happy
I find it pretty funny that Saul's enforcers are two stand-up comedians
This scene is a vital plot point to better fuel huell

With how uncoordinated this guy was, paralysis shouldn't affect his quality of life that much.
😆The "squeak" the floor makes when he trips and slides across always cracks me up.
Icl, I would wanna hang out with those 2 if I were that guy😭
What exactly was Ted’s plan once he started making an escape run?
Tell the bank “don’t make a transaction cause I don’t wanna pay taxes!” Great plan 🙄
He could have froze his bank account, thus stopping all transactions.
Ted wasn’t the brightest bulb. I think he saw the tax payment as stealing the money he stole fair-and-square from Skyler for having trusted him to pay his taxes. He figured he could get away from the scary men now and figure out what to do later.
Huell was so powerful he stopped Ted using only his mind
Those two needs their own tv show that would be hilarious
They are comedians
