I disagree on lux... she doesn't need a visal update or any update... she didn't need the new voice lines or visuals
And I'm going to say this for future... Orianna won't need a visual or voice line update
The biggest problem I have with the older models is not so much how ugly they are, but how terrible the animations are. Malphite is the classic example of this... the attack animations snap back to the idle animation state, rather than having an intermediate in combat animation state as the newer models. Even the newer skins with great recall animations are still stuck with these horrible base animations. In addition to those on your list, this is also the case with Tryndamere, Anivia, Jarvan IV, Talon, and Viktor just to name a few.

I wouldn't say she has a bad design, It's just some of her voice lines could be updated for more interactions, also adding new animations when she becomes a spider would help, overall she doesn't need a full job like caitlyn had.

Almost every yordle has got a fresh (or less) new animations, rework (Poppy, Tristana) but I think Veigar and Lulu need those as well and yet they're almost forgotten... Amumu perhaps too.
And then there's rumble
I've been hoping for years that this amumu's rework idea ( ruclips.net/video/ygVcRYbeZ-I/видео.html&ab_channel=TheCatacroquer ) was used.

@@alialahoda7376 I agree with you. I don't mind the skin showing outfits it looks really good on some champions like Katarina, Miss Fortune, Samira, LeBlanc but I think it looks so ordinary on Janna. Also, I think Riot knows that too cause all of her skins, including Wild Rift, are very different from her default skin.
Straight up should just hire "Natalia 'Verauko' Trykowska" to design Janna's rework. The fan rework they made is STUNNING. And much more befitting Janna's god status

Cho'gath would be actually amazing considering the last monster champion riot released was fiddlesticks (although it was a rework) with the talent on the design team cho gath could look insane
The real last monster champion is rek'sai. We are overdue for a New monster champion. Riot needs to suck it up and release one instead of making excuses. Skins are for the money. New champions are to bring more crowd in.

vayne and leona is also champs that has an insane amount of good skins but have a outdated base model and animation and i would like to see splash art update to all champs just like in wild rift as well
This is going to be a bit controversial since people know Ahri one of riot's favorites, but let's be real she needs a VU. Her spirit blossom and even SG skins look so much better than her base model it's not even funny. Janna also deserves a major VU.

@@Bakachicki i mean i have 3 corki skins: corgi, baron and ice tobogan. Red baron is a dope skin and i used it until i got corgi, but it certainly isn't worth the money. Sure u can fly around as a little german plane, but imagine the same skin with some cool animations and voice changed. They probably won't change nim rn cuz it would be too much effort with all those legendaries

Riot would rather make a second legendary skin for a popular champ than making a new model for the old ones. Caitlyn got hers simply just because of the release of arcane.
I think Veigar just needs a visual update, not really a rework since his kit is still fine.

Man Viktor model is the one I despite the most, his face and his hair look soo weird, he doesn't look as cool as his splash art, hopefully when he comes to Wild Rift he gets a model rework

Isn't udyr recieving a VGU, and as far as I know I think the team in charge of VGUs isn't the same one in charge of ASUs, so it's possible that the next ASU would be LUX 💖✨😭.
The team in charge of ASUs is the same team that makes the skins which is really disappointing
@@batona4139 I'm not certain about this but if that's right, I meancouldn't they make a specific team dedicated to ASUs only like they did fir VGUs 😭.
Varus needs an update to match his Wild Rift model which makes him look more Darkin yet still looks like Varus. His Arclight splash art could be updated to its wild rift version as well! He needs a VO as well, hopefully they keep the same voice actor and add new voicelines and edit others so he still maintains his whole theme. They should also edit his skins to have long hair. He is supposed to be inhumanly beautiful yet they cut his hair or give him creepy mask! If the other Champs get to keep their long hair, Varus should too! I love some of his taunts and laugh. He'd be perfect!

He needs at least ASU so badly. Doesnt look much as darkin and there is nothing in game showing him as 3 personalities in one body. Sure this will be probably hard thing for Riot to do since Kayn and Rhaast are there but still.
Riot have given him already visual update without voice lines, so they don't give a sh*t about him. Voice acting is expensive
@@indrickboreale7381They gave him VFX, not ASU. If they can give ASU to Caitlyn, they will give it to him eventually as well.
They will give that to all old champions which are not on waiting list for VGU and Varus should be between the first ones to get one (Many league content creators share this same opinion.)
And you think money is some big issue for such company? Cant even imagine how much they get from Arcane.
@@VeronikaShadowstar Yes, it's about money. New skins are more profitable than major champion visual changes. Also if deafult model and animations are ugly you are more likely to buy skins for them (Dark Star Cho'Gath is a prime example)

I would put Nocturne on this list to. He also has a really old model which is pretty bad and would need something, might even a rework

nocturne's one of the champs that is included in the survey on who will get a vgu. he'll probably get an update soon
As a zilean main i would love to see him getting a full visual update tied to new animations... since well... he has none (besides dance and sugar rush has a cute recall) like my man needs some love. And the runeterra card of him is just 10/10
It just doesn't make sense how Lux and Ahri are such popular champions that STILL haven't gotten a fully base model rework, sheesh even some of their splash arts are outdated to this day.

I have never seen those lor cinematic pieces for the card art, it looks so dope did they do that for all the champion cards?
The sad part is the mobile version makes the pc version looks like a mobile game 😅
Janna, Lulu, Leona, and Blitzcrank are some popular supports that could use visual updates.
As main support I would say Janna, Sona and Lulu would be good candidates for a visual update
Le blanc definetely deserves a rework, but if it was just visual it will be borig, but if they change her kit a lotta people will be sad
Back when IronStylus worked at Riot, he said Rumble has a jank model that needs to be remade before more skins can come out for him.
It's been about 10 years, and they've released skins for his jank model (badlands baron and space groove)
Hope they update his model at some point.

The thing about Singed is he received just a model update, but his animation, his rig and voicelines stayed all the same.
this video is very cool! i would also add jinx since she's been the poster girl for league for quite some time and her in game model looks really outdated for a champ that's been made in 2013.
I don't understand how theres alot of outdated Splash art the PC version has like how hard is it to copy paste the wild rift splash art to the pc version?
I think Riven and Wukong also need visual rework
Id wanna see RuinedKing Ahri on the Rift. has a more Primal feel to it. i like it
I can see Malphite and Blitzcrank getting one of these simply because they will probably not rework them since they work fine in the current games (kinda), someone like Cho or Skarner will probably get fully reworked one day so they are out for these smaller updates.

Honestly riot should rlly copy paste all their wild rift models into league cuz of the quality but it would end up sacrificing the performance rate for some player’s pc, so id say riot should add like an option for visuals quality where players get to choose if they want the wr models or the old models :)

In away i feel like it would be fitting to be the last of the old champions to get a visual rework almost a time capsule of how fare league has come from there first days to the last of old champions to be visually reworked
Out of these, I want LeBlanc to get an update the most. She is one of my favorite champs and looks so outdated nowadays. Even her most recent skin (Debonair) suffers from this. Even if they just do an ASU, I would be very happy!

Yeah alot of wr champs received a retouch on their ingame model Leona,Diana,Xin Zhao face isn't mirrored,Annie looks like a child now,Lux looks great,Gragas looks fine,Darius etc but some champs are not touched like Ahri,MF,Janna some champs also got some new Animation

LeBlanc being the only one here that don't have any cinematic besides her lvl up animation in LOR kinda??? She is such an amazing champion, her lore is the best! Please Riot just notice her potential

Miss fortune doesn't need visual updates at all imo, still look fantastic to me.
Technically MF's desing from Ruined king is the Captain Fortune skin minus the hat.
I wish Evelynn classic could have her face look like that of her splash.

Janna’s model in wild rift is so clean and she has more clothing. Her model on is an outdated model of the stereotypical “sexy elf girl with magic” and a update to her model to change that and make her more of a wind goddess of some sort

They should ADD the prevew in 3d of champions in league on PC the way is on wildrift, it make buying skins way more better. And worth it.
If they go really hard on asu’s for most of the champs they can make their game feel a lot more fluid and it will attract a lot more people. I originally turned away from the game because it didn’t feel good to play or look at
