But like.. that spring onion/green onion looks actually wild. Like you would find it growing in nature lol in canada at least, ours are a lot more stalk and ..contained?
We love a strong, independent, healthy eating lady who doesn’t skimp out on serving sizes! I hate seeing so many influencers with 2 noodles and a cube of chicken on their plate. This is such an inspiring video! Thank you ❤
Adding a grated carrot to your bolognaise adds a nice sweetness to the sauce. You can cook it with the sauce and it practically vanishes just leaving a nice taste. Would love to see you cook with more herbs because I know you love gardening. ❤
I use that trick too! If you gently cook half an onion with the grated carrot until the onion turns translucent, it adds even more sweetness and flavour.
Hello from Richmond, Virginia! I'd love to see a grocery store where you are! I don't know why, but it just fascinates me to see stores in other countries! I know that might be awkward to vlog though! Loving this channel!
Me too! I just spent summer in the US and it is so different to here in the uk. I have also lived in australia which is very similar to here. One thing i would say is the obvious difference. The prices on the tag include tax in both the uk and aus. As it is a nationwide tax, and doesn't differ county to county or state to state [i say county to county as we don't have states, ours are counties]. So if something says £9, its £9. Its not going to suddenly be £10.80 at the till.
Just had to comment that I'm in Richmond, VA too! I'm close to the airport. I never in a million years thought I would see somebody from my own city on a deli video ❤️😂
Hi Deli, I recommend getting a bin with water to put your eggshells in and water your plants with the shell water :) it's great for the plants and doesnt take up so much space in the compost bin.
I enjoy these because you eat food I've never even heard of. Your breakfast was so unique. I've never thought of making "pumpkin chips" but it sounds like something I'd like.
Hi Deli! We call this dish huevo a la mexicana, which means Mexican egg, we tipically chop onions, tomatoes and green chili :) thx for the idea with the pumpkin chips! Love from Mexico :)
i bought nutritional yeast flakes to try and i use them all the time. i put them on nachos, in pasta, use them with cheese, you can even put them in a fruit smoothie and you won’t be able to tell. so good.
Thank you for sharing these recipes! I’m excited to try them out! By the way, these are my absolute favorite videos. I really love that you’re willing to share this part of your life with us! 🥰
Just a heads up about the pumpkin skin - only eat if it's spray-free/organic! Common pumpkin harvesting methods involve spraying the sh!t out of the pumpkin plants once they're fully grown so the plants die off leaving the pumpkins sitting in the field ready to be collected without having to be picked
Deli, I love this channel! It's so fun to see you cook, because I feel like you are so real. You don't try to be flashy in the kitchen, you just are who you are, which is just like most people in their kitchens, trying things out, and I love that you share it with us. Keep em comin'! 🥰🥰
Hi Deli! Love these kinds of videos where you show a realistic approach to healthy eating. I find this a lot more motivating than those staged and really sophisticated cooking videos! Feels like talking to a friend! Have a great day 😊 Love from Canada!
Hi ! I'm French and I find very interesting to see what people eat in other countries. I would love to see you try some pastries, like lemon pie or crêpes, muffins or gingerbread... whatever you like ! I definitely have a sweet tooth and I love baking. I've made Australian Lamingtons and that's a recipe I really love. I'd be curious to learn more recipes from Australia :)
Have you ever had salted crepes (a dish we call in France 'galettes', made with a special kind of flour) ? I know a recipe where first you cook oignons in a pan and then add sugar (sorry I have no idea how you call that in English), and you put mashed potatoes next to it with a salted crepe, and it's pretty spectacular ! Otherwise, I love it with honey and goat cheese.
For the love of God please make a cooking channel lol. Your so relatable and relaxing this is great also I'm so inspired to cook healthier and I'm def going to try zoodles!
Thank you, you’ve just inspired me to add more veggies to my shopping list! I get easily stuck in my ways and make the same thing all the time so this has given me lovely new ideas 💡
I gotta say, since I saw this video, it inspired me to do a healthy breakfast. I am so glad I took inspiration from some of these recipes. My meals have been so good, and much healthier! Thank you for the healthy eating inspiration!
Hello from Adelaide! This looks like a yummy recipe. I've done something similar with taro but sweet potato is way cheaper than taro atm. I see you use shorter/smaller Knives. I have found a larger chefs knife has been really good for my wrists, as they have the weight and shape that allowed me to "rock" as I cut the veg. We have lovely Wustof knives that aren't cheap but hardly ever need honing or sharpening! Also!!! I'm indian and make masala chai from scratch. My housemate and best friend is also lactose intolerant and I make the masala chai using the Fleurieu Peninsular lactose free milk. I don't know if you get it In Melbourne but it's excellent 🙂
I would love to see more videos like these! I struggle a lot with eating habits so it’s really nice to get some inspiration from someone who is very raw and genuine :)
Thank you for sharing you meals! It’s really amazing to see someone being their true selves on the internet these days, I think that’s why I love watching you videos! It’s like having a friend around (as I watch your videos on my iPad as I do my own routine!) ❤️
Everything looked so yummy! I'm super struggling with this area and these types of videos are so nice for inspiration. Real food that's manageable and easy to cook with delicious results. Would love more videos like this! I always like seeing your meals on IG, too 🥗
oh yay another Deli vlog! Love these so much!!! I actually love that brand of pasta, it's definitely better for you than regular and it's not as heavy, also bonus protein is nice! I love these cooking videos, I've actually tried a couple before! I have to modify them a bit for the most part since I'm vegetarian but yay!! It's also so weirdly satisfying to watch someone who shops at the same stores and uses the same ingredients haha, as opposed to having a majority of people online and TV be American. ❤
Thanks for your cute videos, you're awesome, Deli! I was having a real moment when you showed the mini whisk because this is also a much loved item in my kitchen, I use it quite often as well, especially for mixing salad seasoning from herbs, spices and oil. I got in while I was on exchange semester in England in a special Baileys edition with a mug and a mini bottle of Bailey's. So cute. I'd also never would want to miss it 😀
This was so inspiring to see! You're reminding me of my days with Ashley! I'm 6 months pregnant, chasing after my toddler, and the pregnancy cravings are real! 🤤😂 But I'm putting pumpkin chips and zoodles on the menu next week! Thanks, Deli! 💕
I absolutely love this video. It’s so helpful. I’ll definitely try the eggs and the pumpkin chips and the chicken with the cauliflower rice. Thank you! Hope there will be more videos like this
I really love this channel and watching you cook. Lots of inspiration though I will be improvising as i am veggie. Deffo going to try courgetti spaghetti as we call it here, with some protein pasta , [it is courgette not zucchini here].
Hi Deli, I loved this video! I’m trying to get more veg in my diet so this was super helpful for ideas. More vids like this would be amazing please! carry on being your awesome self 😘
That’s interesting that y’all call all squashes pumpkins. Pumpkin is a type of squash. And side note if you add some real butter into your eggs it adds some healthy animal fat but it also makes them fluffy 😊
I have the same reaction to pasta as well. I got it from my maternal grandmother. She said she thought she was allergic to pasta but her doctor told her that she was lacking a certain stomach enzyme. She used to get it at a vitamin store but by the time I started having the same issue, she had stopped taking it and then forgot what it was....
I really enjoy zoodles (or courgetti as we them here in france) and cauliflow rice... so it was nice to see them prepped in different ways than I do for inspiration ! I would like to see more videos along these lines !

I love this Deli!! It sucks how expensive groceries are in America. It’s difficult for my family to stay away from cheaper less healthy meals because buying any produce will track up a grocery bill over $200.
That’s hard :( in Australia I feel like the veg does become cheaper than packaged food here. The protein (meat) is harder to get cheaper prices. If you can buy what is in season it makes a big difference - atm I’m getting a lot of bokchoy, pumpkin and spring onions as they are cheap. Lettuce, cabbage, peppers have risen a lot!
@@Delidiary I love to buy in season! I have a toddler daughter though and I always try to give her the best food all year round. I don’t have any space to grow a garden otherwise it’d be much easier! I love watching your garden-y vlogs! 💗🫶🏼
Thank you for sharing Deli! I've changed the way I eat for the past year, but you've helped me see some more things to add in. I just do not have experience with cooking/preparing a lot of vegetables. Leeks and bok choi I love when I've had it in restaurant dishes, but no clue on how to prepare it myself. I'm thinking an air fryer is also the way to go. I did notice that this particular day didn't include meals with James. I've had to tell my husband to make his own food, because he doesn't like mine and I won't make two meals!
Great food vlog Deli! I eat similar to you in terms of wholefoods, less processed (except I have IBS and fodmap intolerances haha...) I got some ideas from you and have some suggestions back! Toasted pepitas and sunflower seeds sprinkled on meals, table of plenty dukkah and for pasta I found macro organic caused less bloat, but now im GF so brown rice pasta has been amazing! from a bulk foods store or Orgran at coles. Spirals are best and cook it in small batches :)
I've tried red lentil pasta before it was really yummy and didn't make me crave sugar or feel bad afterwards you should look out for that and try it ^-^.
I am really bad about skipping meals and then eating a lot in a small sitting because I have to be hungry in order to eat because if not I get really sick to my stomach, but if I don’t eat I get a really bad headache, so if I need to eat but but I’m not hungry I’ll take some crackers, pop a lil bit of goat cheese on them and top with a spot of jam. I use that trick too! If you gently cook half an onion with the grated carrot until the onion turns translucent, it adds even more sweetness and flavour.
If you save one of your green onions you can put it in a small glass with water on a window sill and you can grow them.
If you add eggshells to your coffee grounds it removes some of the coffee acid which can make a tastier coffee ☕ 😀
