I really love OMAD. I got back on it almost a month ago and it's the best decision ever. I mean the energy, weight loss and other benefits... The best part is that I don't get hungry until I'm nearing my eating window.

@stevenbrown6593Sorry to hear, but yes it's normal to have low energy for a few days. It takes some time for the body to adjust.
When you fast for a long time you lose a lot of water, so electrolytes are your friend. I usually do sea salt and powdered potassium in water, that helps a ton. If you don't have potassium on hand, salt alone will do the trick. Hope this helps you, but don't give up.
Omad Has literally changed my life as well, no more bloating no more brain fog, the excess pounds shed so easily. I feel so full because my meal is packed with avocado greens protein shake etc., it is definitely a godsend in my life

A while back, I had told you I love watching your videos, but I didn’t have it in me to start anything at the moment. I’ve watched you through your keto journey and lOVED the recipes you shared, even though I wasn’t keto. I haven’t been ready to start my own journey until a few months back, and when I watched you transform from keto to OMAD, something inside me lit up, and I started doing it as well. I have legit never felt better! It’s a powerful feeling going through an entire day without eating and knowing that I have it in me to do that. I couldn’t have imagined having that capability even few months ago.

I did keto a couple times in my past, it only worked short term, then I gained my weight back plus more 😭... I'm my heaviest I've ever been and don't feel healthy at all. I love the balance of your life! I started intermittent fasting a few weeks ago and it's been good so far. I started with 16:8 for a week, now I've been able to bump it up to 18:6. I'm hoping to eventually go up to 20:4 or even OMAD. But baby steps.
I'm really comfortable with OMAD,instead Keto is a nightmare. It is the worst diet that I've tried,so stressed and I've hated my dietician to suggest this type of nutrition.
SO OVER feeling GUILTY!!!!!!! YES! So tired of feeling deprived, so tired of being a slave to food, thinking about it ALL the time, counting macros, weigh it, tracking everything and making food and exercise my life! Been on OMAD for a week : lost 5 lbs.....starting to feel in control!! :)

Great vid! I'm excited just got my NAT delivered from you today. The coffee spill made me laugh... so me @ 6am!🤣I started this week just doing the 20hr fast 4hr eating window and it's amazing. I thought I would be ravenously hungry but after the first day my body adapted to the fasting, and for the first time in months I haven't been craving sugar like I normally do! I can't wait to see how I'm doing in a month!

I finally ordered the free sample of Ketones in Rainbow Candy! For a clean fast, are you normally supposed to take any medications or supplements during your eating window? Also, you mentioned you eat around 1300 calories a day with OMAD. I know you have a variety of food but what are some staples you eat like yogurt, cottage cheese with berries, etc.?

I started this week. Dove right in am averaging 19hrs fasted 5hr eating window. It’s been pretty easy making it 19, but right about 19 I start feeling a slight headache coming and eat. I’m still playing and figuring out what to eat in my window. Trying to watch calories and clean up choices. I could probably do OMAD but figuring that out also because I’d skip dinner w family and don’t see it working great on weekends when we go out to dinner w friends.
I do it 2 days during the week...you want your body to be metabolically flexible, so you shouldn't do it every day

To do OMAD because i cannot fit all my calories, i get full fast and therefore end up under eating.
Same...then my hormones and thyroid got so messed up
I just started, in the first few days I couldn’t finished my meal and still can’t finish it cause i get full fast and was starving . By the 4th day i still couldn’t finished but I wasn’t starving before my meal and can go longer without eating. Mind over matter. Force yourself to push through.
Ohh gosh I’m not the only one, fist time I pronounced Chipotle was Chipotllllll😂😂my kids just laughed at me😅

How are you figuring out your calories on each meal? For instance, if I eat a plate of spaghetti with two meatballs and sauce? And the meatballs are different sizes because it's homemade? Do you use a Nutritional Almanac? I'm going to start but need to know how many calories I'm eating.

Have you checked your progesterone levels? I understand that OMAD on a consistent basis tank's progesterone which is needed for sexual health

I’m curious where you got the information that 50 grams of protein a day is sufficient for maintenance and that anything over that is really just for satiety (and excuse me if I got that wrong). I’ve heard from multiple experts that we generally require roughly double that amount. I’m not trying to be snarky at all as a matter of fact I would LOVE it if we only need 50 for maintenance as I find it difficult to get 100 grams in. Your body is gorgeous by the way 😊

How old are you all? I’m 51 gonna be 52 and if I look at a carb I gain weight. I fast and can literally it a bowl of Chinese food and 24 hours I’ve gained 7 lbs. I documented it. I don’t eat carbs idk If I do it’s 30g or less. I don’t workout and I fast 18-24 hours. I did lose 60 lbs in keto during Covid no workouts but now still keto no workouts and gained about 40lbs. I eat probably less than 1200 calories other days I don’t eat because I’m not hungry. So…..🧐🤨
Me too! Maybe add strength training to build a faster metabolism or check your thyroids?

Wasn't she high carb low fat plant based very shortly ago? And that was how she lost the weight?
I didn’t lose any additional weight when I did a month plant based :) that was after I already hit my goal.
That being said, I go into different phases depending on the current goal, right now I just got new results back from my most recent microbiome test and have a new list of foods and new target, I rarely do the same thing all the time it changes in fasting time and strategy, sometimes I have more food freedom with longer fasts and sometimes I eat more plant based with less fasting etc

I think you will have to keep fasting cause now your metabolism has slowed to the 1300 calories you consume

Yup. This is starvation. It works when you’re younger but can really lead to disordered eating and tanked hormones.
Once you hit your weight loss goal you can easily bring it up to Maintenance. Just remember everyone is different and what you do might not serve others. Being someone that has digestive issues…I only feel ok when I eat similar to her schedule. There’s so many benefits to fasting the the general public just don’t realize…it’s not starvation. The US is literally sick from consumption…

Chinese food isn’t unhealthy unless you’re talking bout Panda Express now that’s just fast food not real authentic Chinese food which isn’t fattening.
