This particular one was a very long search. I found it in another state distance of about 1500 km. I got my brother to pick it up as he was local. Then I got my father to take it to the next town and then I got him to bring it onto my town, maybe after all that travelling in the back of the car is the reason why one of the stereo channels died!
Uh, really not sure if it's actually dependable since it seems the audio board on yours has a couple of bad capacitors, so one channel went dead. Easy repair for an E-tech.
Yeah I’ve heard it’s an easy fix. It’s the only problem I’ve ever heard ppl have with it, but I’ve heard about the exact same thing twice. Such a shame, everything external feels so chunky and high-grade. Oh well, I’ll content myself with mono sound for now. Until I get the SV-2 (logical next step!)
Output capacitors fail early/are borderline defective, sounds like a chore to fix but might be worthwhile ruclips.net/video/j_2FCMRynI8/видео.html Also, 2617 pride ✊
I don’t think these SV’s get enough credit - nice vintage sounding alternative to the Nord
Yeah it’s so fun and fresh just to noodle around on it, tweaking the knobs as you go :)
That right there is a thing of beauty, makes home even better i bet.😊
Yep. It’s not just an instrument, it’s a part of the decor :)
Great Video 👍👈👀🎶🎵 Big Like my dear Friend 😊 Warm Greetings from Germany & Happy Weekend !
Many thanks once again!!
Still got mine, with black and red keys. Still works!
Oh yeah that’s a really slick color combination. Love it :)
Where do you find these gems?

The Korg SV1 sounds amazing, even in mono (probably not a big issue for gigs).
Agree 👍
Do you remember how much it cost new when it just came out?
A lot. I think it was about $2K here in Australia, so that would be about $1400US.
Piano .. korg sv1 or kawai mp7
I have tried the Kawai sorry. But I sure do love this SV-1 :)
SV2 is a beautiful beast, but also expensive.
Indeed it is!

You're a 2617 guy? Cool :)
@@gearfacts gal, but yeah
@@gearfacts I opted for the Roland VR 730 btw. Full set of drawbars, waterfall keys and Roland build qualiity. Not as handsome tho.
@@caley2000 Ah yes i think you made a good choice :)
@@caley2000 Cool. Pardon me for mis-gendering, YT analytics tells me that 99% of my viewers are weird synth boys so I have a tendency to assume :)
is there a way to contact you ? i have a question and would like to send a video example . it’s of the nux mg100 , itll help me out a lot
thank you
I don't have the pedal anymore but I'd be happy to help if I can. There is a Gearfacts facebook group which is probably the best way to go :)
