Hey Dylan how long is your consultation zoom call (I asked before long time ago u mentioned the consultation itself is free, course is "relatively" a bit expensive. I also have an ecommerce and business background. so no need to convince me the value proposition and all that. Btw while your title strategy has its' point, but etsy has also evolved algorithmically in huge strides. They no longer put as much emphasis on exact term match to the title / aka Don't want the title to be a jumbo gibberish of words but clear and concise to the customer. Their internal AI likely picks up words from title, do its own combinations, synonyms and put more weight on tags etc. You do the title in that format well, most ppl (I included) write title like that will come across as pure gibberish. Hence you see all these "unoptimized titles" gettings thousands of sales anyway. if you see good customer experience as the bullseye, that's where you should aim for no? instead of aiming at algorithm, which is constantly changing also aiming at customer experience bullseye anyway. It's like I know Etsy is going to ultimate destination Honolulu (also a great vacation spot) and I know bots/algo are also aiming to in helping Etsy get to Honolulu, it's better i just focus on getting a flight there, instead of following the bots since they are just trying to figure out their own way to get there anyway. And they are now getting exceedly better at it. Take one of the example mentioned in this video, "Pink cowboy boots - Baby gift .... ", GPT immediately figured out from that title what product you are selling, what demographics it's aiming for and so on. (and I didn't even feed it tag info). Anyway, it's my thoughts as an etsy newb, It seems to make sense.

thak you so much ! !! One question... is it convenient to create an etsy store that has different products? For example, I make candles and my mother-in-law crochets... Is it convenient from an SEO point of view that I put my mother-in-law's products in my store?
Hi Grace! I actually have some super flexible options if you are every interested in my help. Feel free to reach out for more info! We customize things for each student's needs. :)
Tell me is this a solid plan: Week 1: Set up your store and products Day 1: Set up your Etsy store with a professional banner, logo, and complete profile. Day 2-4: Take high-quality photos of your products with a clean background and good lighting. Write detailed, SEO-optimized descriptions and titles for each item. Day 5: Set up a pricing strategy that considers materials, labor, and profit margins. Day 6-7: Research competitors, note their best-selling products, and get inspired by their tactics. Week 2: Launch and promote Day 8: Launch your store with at least 10 products to start. Day 9-14: Promote your store on social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook) with daily posts showcasing your products. Engage with your audience by responding to comments and messages. Set a goal to reach 100 followers on each platform. Week 3-4: Expand and network Day 15-28: Reach out to influencers, bloggers, and local media to promote your products. Set a goal to secure at least three collaborations or features. Continue to add new products and update your store regularly. Month 2: Optimize and advertise Day 29-59: Analyze your store's performance using Etsy analytics. Identify your best-selling products, improve your listings based on data, and optimize your tags and descriptions. Invest in Etsy Ads and set a daily budget. Aim to achieve at least a 3% conversion rate. Month 3-6: Scale up and diversify Day 60-180: Expand your product range based on customer feedback, trends, and sales data. Explore additional sales channels like local markets, craft fairs, and wholesale partnerships. Set a goal to double your monthly sales each month. Month 7-12: Build your brand Day 181-365: Develop a strong brand identity with a consistent visual style, tone, and message. Launch your website with an online store and blog. Start collecting email addresses for an email list and send out regular newsletters to your subscribers. Aim to achieve at least 5,000 subscribers by the end of the year. To measure your progress, track the following metrics: Revenue: Set monthly and annual revenue goals based on your desired income. Conversion rate: Aim for a 3-5% conversion rate from visitors to customers. Social media followers: Set growth targets for each platform. Email subscribers: Aim for a steady increase in subscribers and a high open rate. Customer reviews: Aim for a 4.5-5 star average rating on Etsy and collect testimonials for your website.
I've been watching youtube videos on Etsy for a while and you are the first one that really says something new and useful! Thank you for that! I was wondering, if you have a listing that is not the best but sells once a week or so, would you change the title and tags or would you duplicate it with new SEO to compare the difference?
If you do another Q&A session soon, I’m curious what your thoughts are on “Etsy sales slowing down in summer months.” This topic keeps popping up on my suggested videos.
I recently got an order for something I haven’t sold yet. I found out somehow the weight was off and that’s probably why no one bought it. Now I’m going to check all my listings that haven’t sold yet. I sell jewelry making supplies mostly beads. Maybe I need more listings, I have around 300 but most shops I see have a lot more. Would adding finished jewelry along with the supplies be ok or not do that?
Has anyone done her etsy course? What are your thoughts on it now? Are you still making money? Keep seeing people complaining that this year is a low conversion year on Etsy?

Also I want to know should we offent update tags of the listings which is not working or should create new with trageting new customers?
would having deposit set to daily/weekly makes a difference as to how much etsy algorithm shows ur shop? there are just so many key points for etsy i think and thats overwhelming
@code4lyfe, with the amount of payment reserves and deactivations going on right now, I heard it recommended to use daily deposits. That way, in case of a payment reserve, at least you'd have most of your funds already in your bank account. Also, if you're reinvesting the money into improving your Etsy shop, you'll have your available funds quicker. (I'd rather have the money in MY pocket/account, instead of having Etsy earn interest on it....) 😊
Hi!! I have an Etsy store of print on demand and It's been a month or so, and I didn't sell anything. I have 200 listings, almost 200 views, I have nobody that would buy from me (friends or family) to get started. I have been working on the SEO, descriptions, store presentation. I choose to sell home decor, but nobody buys from me. Am I never going to sell? I'm unemployed and trying to survive. I put my effort all day 24/7 on this Etsy shop. Are my designs too awful? I don't know what to do!
Love your channel Dylan. I have a digital store but a lot of my products are priced low. I want to make some bundles but a lot of my files exceed the file size limit on Etsy so I can't bundle enough items together 🤔 Do you have any solutions? ❤️
Lots of sellers will make a PDF as the download. Within that download are links to the digital files that are stored off-site - for example on Google Drive. There are many options as to where to store them.
I have had an odd experience the last few days where my views are doubled or tripled and the listings viewed are ones that have been up for months and hardly got any views until now 🤷♀️. Anyone else ever experience this or know what's going on 😆
