There's nothing new under the sun, is there? Dylan, this is all tried-and-true, old school marketing 101 and great advice for running a business, or for just living a happy and fulfilled life in general. Which doesn't mean it isn't pure gold, but common sense, courtesy (customer service) and patience go a long way to success in anything. Old's cool is best school!

Hi Dylan, love the advice in this video! Could you possibly do a video or explain further about the "longest time horizon"? How do we know when to actually pivot to another idea rather than giving it time to build more momentum? I agree with being patient and I'd like to know how to discern when to move on to another strategy/ product, or when to keep the consistency

Me and my gf started ours last week we are 12 sales in now, and not much cost start up. She makes products, and we come up with ideas together and i handle all the social media platforms week and a half in we are at 189$ profit

hi dylan. thank you for the advice. my shop is moonstar studio design. i am selling digital product for 2 months now. but no progress for now
The problem is that in my niche (sewing patterns) the market leader takes all their product photos from Shein. Shein’s clothing images are super amazing, so it’s really difficult to compete using the photos I take at home myself. I’ve been open for 1 and half months and I’ve sold 50 items.

I have a shop with 200 views and 150 visits. Its about 2 weeks old and i have only 1 sale and that was a week ago. What should i do. Should i just wait and see what happens in 1 month or so

I am not sure why it's a problem that these sellers have a "wide mix" of subjects, Latina, faith based, femnist, etc., when they have them listed in catagories in the side bar. When I hear it said that one should have a niche, I wonder why not more than one if you have your items catagorized in their own departments.

I finally made a sale. But Etsy then suddenly suspended my store. Been 3 days now, nothing from the appeal I sent. Sending them emails all bounced back with automated messages no support during the appeal and suspended store. Do you know anyone got suspended for no reason and managed to get their store back from appeal? And how long did they wait?
it took us over a week and it was during the holidays last year. very frustrating! You're not alone. Just don't give up. You'll get it back, but may never know why. We never heard from anyone, it just came back.
@@bce2526 so you filled appeal as well? They refunded the customer and charged my card for the refund. I am doing POD, the product still arrived to the customer, basically for free. That is small matter. So did your shop just come back and they didn’t even email you the outcome of the appeal? I checked everyday, the red banner still up there…..even with email it just bounce back saying my account is suspended, they will not respond to any other emails.
Same happened to me. I got it back within a week. Still going. 😊

Did Etsy gave you back the refund money cos they suspended your shop? I am very stressed over this….I didnt do anything wrong. And everytine I try to email I get auto message saying they wont speak to suspended account.
