Thanks for the video...its idiot proof, I can testify to that. Just a couple of notes, the torx heads on the screws for the throttle body on my vehicle Vectra Design CDTI 150 Hatchback were in poor condition and I just managed to remove them. I contacted my local Vauxhall dealer Sherwoods Stockton-on-Tees for replacements. I was told the screws are not available seperately and are only available as part of a kit costing £65. The kit comprises of the small cable bracket just below the throttle body and the three screws for the throttle body. Needless to say I said they can keep their screws but the spares guy was good enough to give me the screw dimensions. The screws are Qty 2 x M6 x 30mm Lg and Qty 1 x M6 x 60mm the lengths include the head. I replaced the torx heads with allen headed screws. On stripdown my throttle body was absolutely full of oil and the board must have been submerged in it for years so I thought this was the problem. After cleaning the throttle , board and checking the solder connections shown in the video which looked good I put it all back together but the problem still remained.:( Stripped it down again resoldered joints and finally problem resolved. Thanks again for a great vid.!!!! Saved me a lot of dosh

For anyone who is going to do this work! Always check the electronic compartment! I opened mine to find it full of black tar/oil! I reckon the seal around the throttle flap shaft has failed and over time oil from the tar build up slowly seep into the electric compartment. This could have been avoided if the electric compartment was on the top of the throttle body. Vauxhall had designed it to be at the bottom, so when the seal fails, oil would naturally seep down due to the gravity and fill the whole compartment up!

The electronics can be cleaned correctly/recommended with IPA (Isopropyl alcohol). I don't know if it will be effective on the grease/soot, but you'll probably remove the board anyway.

I used vice. Just squeeze those two parts and put the clip there. Or you can ask another person for help
