I'm someone that on the surface, and in truth, have nothing in common with your family. Single, atheist, West Coast, and worked very hard to not have children. I know I would be an awful parent and don't particularly want to hurt a child due to my own deficiencies. We probably have different political beliefs and opinions that are on opposite ends of any particular spectrum. That said, I have greatly enjoyed your video's and can see the trust and respect each of you has for the other. You both put the work in to your family and the results are plain to see. You are raising respectful, hard working and compassionate children. They are healthy and well behaved. I'm just really impressed. Thank you for sharing your life with us strangers. That takes courage.
I love that you commented this way. Respect goes so far. Thank you for being an example of the fact that we don’t have to be exactly the same or believe the same things to care for one another and be kind!!
If you take the time to not be on opposite ends, you may find that Christians who practice their faith instead of saying and not doing, are very much like this family. It's a commonality amongst this particular group.
@@teedub1990 no I didn't. Great problems lie with the intolerant raging left who cancels, crushes, and ignores the truth. The main entity who cancels God, Christians, and Jews. You are the best wife ever. My husband is exactly like yours, not much of a talker and I get so frustrated but you are so gracious. He is very lucky, I am definitely going to be nicer and kinder like yourself ❤
That was fun. Thank you Adam . I think Adam is coming to realize that what you do in this media is a very real ministry, you are definitely called to it and I admire Adam for his dedication to leading the family church time in the way that he does. One thing I was told very early on starting to serve in church ministry that has really benefited me is that “God does not call the prepared, he prepares the called”. Thank you both for the work you do.
7:40 made my heart smile listening to your hubby say how he leads with the Holy Spirit and how he sees what’s going on in the family and addresses it spiritually. What an awesome and Godly guy!
Yes! I was saying the same thing. So many men make the Godly order of things very unappealing. But, they seem like they work together, and she does her part and he does his part. And most importantly, neither is trying to overstep the other.
I'm catching up on your videos. This was awesome. If i could give a little advice to Adam 😊 Husband was a truck driver and construction brick layer. Had spine surgery May 2022. It went very bad. CFS, hematoma and 5 days after ICU he threw a major clot to the lung. Had a total of 10 clots in his legs and back. Very complicated and he almost died. Was transported to a level 1 hospital for 7 weeks. He's still in PT learning to walk again. Many setbacks but by the Grace of God he is slowly improving. We're in our early 60s. Take care of yourself. Listen to your body and keep doing what you're doing 😊 We raised 4 kids. I was the stay at home mom, hubby was the breadwinner working 2 jobs. We're Appalachian. Have a garden and a few chickens and I'm praying my husband can throw out the waking devices and once again work and do what he enjoys: gardening and teaching the 8 grandchildren everything he knows. He is an independent contractor and loves his job. 🙏
He does great! You can really tell he loves you and he loves his family. Thank you Adam for taking time to give your feedback. I'm glad you are all doing better. I went through that sickness last year and it was not fun. Bless you both
I didn't discover my RUclips "family" until 2021 and you and they have saved my sanity during Covid. My husband and I are, respectively, 76 & 75 yrs old, and are without family close by. This "sheltering in place" and staying away from most people hasn't been easy on me, especially. I'm a people person, but have not seen many others in 2 yrs, so I really appreciate you, Jessica and Adam! You and others that share like values with me are a blessing. Thanks to both of you...
Hi Adam & Jessica , I think that both of you have great views on Home Church and teaching your children.I myself am 71 and birthed 14 Children .7 boys and 7girls .I only wish that raising my children were as easy as you raising yours. My husband worked hard to provide for his family , but fell short in the spending time with them department. My boys got left out in the cold when it came to spending time with him. And he and I would spend time in God's word . But eventually his desire to continue changed. He became interested in his daughters in a very unhealthy way. That put a huge wedge between he and I. We divorced after almost 25 years .I married him when I was 18 and he was almost 18 years my Senior. When we married he had 8 children . The oldest of those being just 4 years younger than myself. I met him when I was 12 years old. He was then married to a wonderful Christian woman. She passed after 4 years of them being married. Anyway I admire you and your husband and your children. I'm not bitter because of my past . But am thankful for each day that the Lord stands by my side and guides me through them. God Bless you and your family.
I love Adams response “Coffee, I drink a lot of coffee.” Truer words have never been spoken 😂 Reminds me of a post I saw that says “On weekends my coffee drinking is recreational as opposed to during the week when it’s medicinal.” Love hearing his heart throughout the video 😊
I really appreciated this opportunity to get to know Adam and get a better understanding of how your family and homesteading life have evolved. You've shown that working as a team and appreciating the strengths and preferences of each other make your family stronger. Bless you all.
I appreciate so much that you both took the time to answer these questions. Listening to your answers, watching you interact together, all of it. I feel like I'm learning from an older woman the way Paul describes whenever I watch your videos. I learn so much. Thank you for your time and care with your social media.
Thank you Adam. I enjoyed getting to know you better. You did a great job! You have a blessed family as you know. Jessica is amazing and we all love her so much. Ty for letting her share.
I'm new to your channel and am really enjoying it. I grew up on a farm, raising our food, canning, etc. Although we live in a rural area now, I still garden and preserve a lot of our food. I enjoyed getting to know Adam better. Its a breath of fresh air hearing you both talk about faith. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to catching up on older videos.
I enjoyed this video so much! You are both a blessing to all of us who watch and share your journey in life. I loved Adams explanation of home churching, how he prepares for it. Thank you for sharing. Please stay safe and continue to get well.
Love these Q and As from y'all. Love to see the way you work together. I pray blessings to your family! You did good, listening to Adam. I struggle in this area too. Christ is so important in our lives. This q and a answered so many of my personal questions or at least gave me guidance. Thank you for this.
This was a fun video! It’s nice to see you interacting as a couple. I enjoyed learning more about Adam. I hope you heal quickly! This winter has seemed like an overly germ filled winter for our family.

Thank you Adam and Jessica for sharing your life!! It's a joy to see other brother's and sisters doing life and pressing on in these days!! Much love in Christ to you all!!
I really enjoyed this video. One thing I'd like to mention in regards to your conversation about your miscarriages. I have experienced 2 miscarriages myself, and yes, they are extremely traumatic. But I was so focused on how it affected me and what I needed to heal, that I didn't realize that my husband was also grieving our loss. No one was helping him heal and grieve, and that hit me hard. So while I appreciate Adam helping you get through that time, it's also worth mentioning that fathers are also to be considered 😊
Totally agree. The question was specifically a husband asking how to support his wife. Next time maybe I will have Adam talk about how a wife could support her husband.
I am not a homesteader, but I stumbled upon your channel a few months ago and I really love the content. I really enjoyed getting to know Adam but the chemistry between the two of you is wonderful.
