Last thing you want mid game is an enemy spy temporarily shutting it down. Or worse an enemy engineer seizing control of it so the opposing player can turn it against you.
6:26 You missed the fact that there's a lone Sentry Gun you can destroy with the Harriers to completely skip the mission. This must be done before the Soviets set up their base though, as the Sentry Gun acts as a placeholder to prevent the victory condition from being fulfilled.
For Mission 5, I used to play the mission with pretty much Tanya only, but ever since find those two engineers, I start to capture barracks and reactor to build 10 rhinos to crush the mission with tanks. I find that method a bit more fun to play. Credit to all of those tips (or maybe Easter Eggs), especially in Mission 11. I did not know the bus thing exist lol.
There is a tip I know of for Deep Sea. You can win the mission very easily before the bulk of enemy forces arrive by training a few rocketeers and sending them to destroy a sentry gun next to a garrisoned hut on a small island.
Funny, during Allied Mission 12, I had captured one of the undefended Nuclear Plants, built a barracks next to it, and continuously trained spies to keep the enemy's power down until I could use the Chronosphere 3 times. I... never tried to use the legionnaires.

@@johnsven878 In the original Command and Conquer, NOD mission three or four required you to capture a prison. First time in, I blew it up and had mission lost. Next time, I destroyed everything else, then tried to figure out how I could cap it. So yeah, to me this made sense now.
Those controllable cows in the Dark Night mission were by far the best stress reliever when I played this game as a kid, considering I was extremely careful and explored every inch of the map before moving out with the Spies and Tanya.
I don't know if you will see this but when I played the mission, i managed to keep the psychic beacon instead of it being sold. I did this by using fully promoted GI to outrange the coils, then captured the soviet barracks and tesla reactor and trained a engineer to capture the beacon. For some reason it didn't get sold (but it doesn't seen like the beacon does anything)
There's also another one on the mission on Chicago Map (Last Chance). If you garrison the Burger Kong building with GIs then the enemy force destroy it, a group of monkeys will spawn and attack the enemy force responsible for its destruction then they will follow your commands.
Tip: On allied mission 7 at the start, you can finish the mission easily if you go near your Allied Base,destroying the Sentry Gun nearby will finish the mission without your friend getting any harm Also good tip for speedrunners Use the Rocheteers for fastest result
There's some more I can add! For the Allied Mission #2 - If you can actually destroy or capture the North-East soviet base with only Tanya and the Rocketeers, you will be awarded with more units paradropped into the neutralized enemy base For the Allied Mission #4 - If you can destroy the Psychic Amplifier with only your Naval Units and never got to force land your troops into the shore, your Secretary will say something of the lines "Good work commander, they never saw us coming" There's also for the Allied Mission #7 but I cant remember fully, but it's something about the Marsh/swamp in the North Island And I'm sure you know about the Tutorial sections too!

Mission 8: If you capture the abandoned buildings to the south (the refinery and wf) you will get extra time to destroy or capture the beacon before Tanya starts singing the Soviet national anthem.
I genuinely thought I knew everything about this game (and still play it today). First tip: there are six crates on the first mission that I had no idea existed. And up the road: three free Veteran tanks. You know, the President's throwing a victory gala at the White House later and - no that's too weird but still brilliant work. EDIT: SPY COWS?!
In the fourth allied mission "Last Chance", if you garrison the Mcmonkey burger building with several G.I.s you get a handful of Monkeys that you can command and help you against the Soviets. Its one of the funniest secrets I ever found in the game and I'm kinda surprised no one has mentioned it yet.
On Mission 4 Last Chance, you can save the police cars. On Mission 10 Mirage, you can save the friendly outposts, and deny the enemy from building there. I can only save 2 tho, never 3. Its too hard. Also because you prevent them from building, you dont have to worry about them attacking Einstein.
Now if I remember correctly, in the Soviet mission where you infiltrate the battle lab infront of the world trade center you get yuri clones (dunno how they were called in ra2) and you can mind control a bus with them and you will have the same benefits as with the bus in the allied mission and you can even control it!
In the 11th allied mission you can use 2 SEALs to set a waypoint to destroy the brides over and over again. If you do this they will paradrop engineers to the middle island between the bridges, if you place another SEAL defending the ramp there a HORDE of planes will paradrop engineers over and over again at an extreme speed. This way is very good to level up units to chronosphere over.
Pro tip for the Fallout mission: Each time your Seals blow up the bridge, an enemy plane with two engineers will be sent to repair it. Use your Waypoint to make your Seals blow it up non-stop (even when it's destroyed) and you can spawn an enormous amount of planes. The Engineers provide excellent experience for your units to gain fast veterancy.
Or just send a bunch of rocketeers and station them there. Avoid sea scorpion fire and all Soviet units landed at the top will never be able to attack your base. The money you have at the initial two islands are enough to keep playing. After using seal to blow up the bridge.
So, I didn't know about that the tower you could garrison to see the whole map, the crate at the bottom of the map in the mission where you gotta destroy Nuclear Warheads and that you could capture them too! Ohh and the crazy bus trick, nice!

If you destroy it before Soviet invade you accomplish the mission. It's SE of the cyan ally islands, you should be able to destroy it with few rocketeers.

another thing to note about the grizzly tanks in mission 1 is that they are hostile to you until they become yours. But usually they turn over to your control before you can get in range.

You missed this really cool trick in Allied MIssion 4 : Last Chance, it's at the very beginning where you can actually lead the destroyers towards a hidden northern path that goes directly to the psychic amplifier. Look up a couple of speedruns for the Allied campaign, most of them use this trick as it basically skips the entire mission Edit: In the sears tower trick you can actually see the route that needs to be taken on the minimap Edit 2: You say there are no tricks in Allied sea but I actually know of one, it's more of a speedrunning trick (yay for speedruns) The mission actually has the condition of short game, which means you only need to destroy the buildings. There's actually a hidden sentry gun somewhere on your allied commander's island, if you send a few rocketeers or harriers etc. to quickly kill the sentry gun BEFORE the soviets kill your ally and set up base you can basically skip the mission. Again, this is a rather common speedrun strat due to its sheer speed, so if you'd like to see this strat for yourself you can look up red alert 2 speedruns.
The first one is used in every speedrun thus I didn't include it as for the second one it's certainly some kind of bug and I don't want to exploit them.

There's a tip in mission 7 which you haven't mentioned. It's possible to quickly beat the mission if you move all of your troops towards the light blue Allied base which the Soviets will take out and build their own base on the northwest. As soon as the Soviets show up, you can destroy their MCV, and they will not be a threat at all. I once did that.
6:21 In Deep Sea, you can win the mission instantly by moving your Aircraft Carriers and Destroyers near the your ally’s base. When the Soviets’ MCV has been deployed, order your Carriers to destroy the Construction Yard and after a few minutes, you win the mission.

Yuri Prime in RA2 is strong as well. Though he lacks movement above water, he makes up with a mind control range equal or slightly lower than the firing range of Grand Cannon😂

I always used to capture EVERY SINGLE (capturable) BUILDING in each of the bases, taking extra caution not to destroy any. I was a weird kid.

You cannot even capture them in singleplayer unless the mission makes an exception like this one.

I've been replaying RA2 and Yuri's Revenge. Was surprised that I used most of these actually.

Man this game DID NOT punish you for finding easier ways to complete missions! In fact, even embraced it! Especially with the one where you can capture the silo

Yuri Prime in RA2 is strong as well. Though he lacks movement above water, he makes up with a mind control range equal or slightly lower than the firing range of Grand Cannon😂
