Everyone who met him was awed by his charisma and male beauty. His step brother, in his new book called the Faith of Elvis, stated what Elvis was like.He said Elvis in real life was bigger than love. All you felt when in his presence was overwhelming love from him.

Absolutely agree… he was jewelled to the neck and yet he was alpha male!! His physique, voice, attitude… I can’t think of anyone today who could wear those outfits and still retain that raw manliness ❤

Elvis was Mr. Cool in his prime, but you know he had regular people working on his appearance and during this show in front of a billion watchers you know he had a ton of hair spray and anything else making sure his hair remained perfect. Props to James Burton for shredding the electric guitar here too.

He had great hair but then again visually he had everything great. I would love for you to react to a specific version of a song called Never been to Spain. It's footage called Prince from another planet but I'm looking for the version where he's dressed in blue. His vocal is incredible. Thank you, Vicki

I love love love when he does his blues. Elvis was just phenomenal in everything that he did. He had the best musicians. I'm not sure if you have done Mystery Train/Tiger Man live but it's so much fun. I listen to EP everyday. There is not a song that I don't lime but the nice thing about EP is that he has a so g for every mood.

Jane H …. Yes, definitely at 10/10. Love this song, & Elvis looked gorgeous. He looks as if he was blessed with thick hair. One of my brothers was the same … he had thick black hair that did exactly what he wanted it to do, & stayed that way all day long.

BRO, The genetics thing does have a influence. ELVIS is part Naitive American, for one thing. His beloved mother carried those particular set of genes. One picture of her alongside ELVIS shows most of the "looks" he inherited. I'm Naitive American as well, don't have the black hair all my cousins share. My oldest brother had a pile of beautiful black hair, and darker tones of skin. Ever since I was a tyke, I could imitate. I told my blessed Mother, How come I couldn't come out looking like my older brothers? I said, I could've made a million dollars imitating ELVIS. (Mom just told me to go dry up!)

Elvis had that thick native american hair. Elvis's Mothers people were Cherokee.
Needless to say he probably used a can of hair spray to keep it in place.

Wrong song: at the very, very start of the below mentioned video Elvis calls out “Please Release Me” but the band begins playing “I Can’t Stop Loving You” but Elvis never stopped them or said a word, he just eased nicely right into the song; a few seconds later you will see him glance over w-a look of irritation & annoyance; he then slowly walks over to Charlie Hodge, picks up his glass of water & throws it over to Glen @ piano - & of course Elvis then smiles; this is the only version where we hear him call out Please Release Me - other versions did not record that beginning & that makes a big difference - without that you can’t really appreciate what took place. His voice is so strong, so powerful, it’s glorious to listen to him. It’s from the ’72 Hampton Roads concert.
