At Elvis’s Madison Square Garden concerts, all four of them, he had sold out performances with 20,000 audiences in each of those four concerts. He broke all records for four sold out concerts, & was given an award. It’s such a shame that none of those concerts were filmed, though one fan did manage to film part of the concert he was at, which is great.

I think Austin Butler did a wonderful job as Elvis. I know that Lisa Marie loved the movie & said it was all so real. I really enjoyed it & have watched it several times, & it made a lot of the younger generation want to learn more about Elvis, which is great.

What a great Gospel documentary, & wonderful to hear all about the inspirational days/evenings/nights that were spent at one of Elvis’ homes. He would have really loved those times.

Jane H …. This makes me so sad to watch, even 47 years later, but without a shadow of doubt in my heart, I know he is with God. Elvis was planning to do a dedicated Gospel concert, & what an incredible concert that would have been. His beloved mother was a strong believer, so they will be together now. Elvis was a deeply spiritual man, whose most treasured possession was his bible, & it was taken everywhere with him, & he would read it & then make notes on certain verses. Elvis always sang a couple of gospel songs or hymns in his secular concerts, & he would read scripture to people …. He even held bible studies at Graceland. Like all of us, he wasn’t perfect. He was a flawed human being with a deep love for Jesus. If we were perfect, we wouldn’t need Jesus, but not a single one of us is perfect. The Living Hope is a great bible.

A definite Nay from me. Elvis fans are never going to happily react to something which is disrespectful of Elvis. And he did Not die on the toilet. He was about to sit down on the toilet when he had a cardiac arrest or a massive heart attack, fell forward, & was dead before he hit the floor. Making jokes about the death of anyone is never funny, in my opinion, & especially not about someone who is so well loved by millions right to this day.

When they were all young men, & touring about the Southern States, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, & Elvis, would often be appearing in the same concerts, so they got to know one another well. I’m not sure if Jerry Lee Lewis was with them. Elvis was probably the youngest, being only 19 when he was doing that circuit of touring about, but he was the first to hit the big time, & by 21, Elvis was the first global superstar. Johnny & Elvis became friends during that time. I haven’t seen this before, so thanks for sharing it with us.

Yes, Elvis & Bill (from the Righteous Brothers) were friends. When they were both doing concerts in Vegas, they were spend time together after they had finished performing. Although Elvis was lonely after his marriage break-up & divorce, he did appear to have a lot of very close friends who deeply cared for him.

Jane H …. Yes, definitely at 10/10. Love this song, & Elvis looked gorgeous. He looks as if he was blessed with thick hair. One of my brothers was the same … he had thick black hair that did exactly what he wanted it to do, & stayed that way all day long.

Very Enjoyable. We are so lucky a fan managed to smuggle in his camera & a small tripod, or we would have nothing at all from his concerts in Madison Square. It seems crazy that an official film wasn’t made of at least one of the four concerts he did here in 1972.

Oh yes, he was a superstar during his days. I remember I daily listened to his singing from radio and phonograph. His was a big hit in those days. Try to play his singing voice from an original recording, of “ The Student Prince” Do not play this new version where the recording was awful . Get the musical recordings from the Original movie of Student Prince. You will fall in love. The new version was awful . Bad record. Use the Movie recording process by MGM.

You need to react to Ronnie singing "I Love You, I Love You, I Love You" live. There is a video on RUclips (Vevo) from late 1977 or early 1978. He's introduced by Crystal Gale it appears, but they cut her intro out. Anyway, I swear that this sounds like the greatest Elvis song you have never heard. Ronnie dare I say, was almost as handsome as Elvis when he was young. He's now in his 70's.
