- I recently received some items from HTVRont to try out, so on today's video I am comparing HTVRont's sublimation paper to 3 other brands of sublimation paper. I received 3 of the 4 papers used in this video at no cost, but I am not being paid for the video and all opinions stated are my own. Thank you for watching.
Links to 3 of the Papers (contains affiliate links):
HTVRont Sublimation Paper 120gsm (various sizes available) amzn.to/3Lof7OM
Printers Jack Sublimation Paper (pink back with various sizes available) amzn.to/3JOdd9X
A-SUB Sublimation Paper 125 gsm (various sizes available) amzn.to/3iJWLLY Хобби
THAT A-SUB IS DEFINITELY THE BEST...the definitive depth of color shows on your camera....
Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for this helpful video. I've been using A-Sub paper, and it has worked well for me. But it's good to know about these others.
Thank you for taking the time to do their review 😊
You're welcome! Thanks for watching it!!!
Awesome turtorial and to the point. Thanks so much!!!
Thank you so much!!!
Thank you again Marilyn for another very informative video!!!
Thanks so much Jackie!!!
The comparison was great Thank you!💕
Thank you Rug'l!!!
I never heard of some if those brands. I love comparison videos because you must always have a #1-#3 just in case paper runs out from a supplier. It looks like the HTV ront gives bright color more than the rest. Thanks for the video.😊💜
Thanks for watching Sweet Arts!!! Yes, I really ended up liking the new paper very much!
Wow Marilyn, nice comparison. Thank you for sharing this experiment, they all look nice but the from looking at this from the video, The HTV Ront, PR Jack and A-Sub will be my choice
Mine too. Thanks so much for watching!!!
Great comparisons. Very informative 💜
Thanks so much Delonda!!!
This was a great video comparing the sublimation papers. I need to try that HTV Ront out. Thank you for sharing
When I mail your goodies, I will include some sheets of the HTVRont paper:) Thanks so much for watching!
@@MakingwithMarilyn Awwww thank you so much ❤
Im sooo glad I came across this page because I wasnt sure about which one to get far as HTVRont and A-Sub so I went with HTVRont 😁and im pleased with your review 😊
I love HTV Ront paper. This review was done quite some time ago and I have used HTV Ront paper in most all of my videos over the last couple of years. There are a lot of good papers, but I stay with it b/c I have been so happy with it. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Which ink do you use in your printer
Another great video and thanks! I agree HTVRont black appears to be a little more crisp and slightly darker but the other two are great too, I used PJ prior to using Honestly SpINKing paper and ink and those are the only sublimination papers I used.
Tracey
I may need to give HS a try someday. Thanks so much for watching!!!
Hi Marilyn! Thank you for sharing! That was cool. Nice to know the options have been tested for people to see. Thank you again🥰
You're welcome Allaina! Thank you for watching.
I use HIIPOO paper and ink… I have noticed some of my black letters/ fonts do have a weird lumpy or squeezed out look… I thought it was my font or printer (I run a Epson WF7210) … I may need to try different paper 🤪 … thanks for a great video of comparison!! 🥰
I was hoping that if I used my other printer, which has Hiipoo ink in it, that the issue might go away when using the Hiippoo paper, but it sounds like maybe it won't. I need to try it just to be sure:) Thanks Mary!!!
Good video thanks looks good ❤
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching:)
Hi Marilyn, Thank you so much for putting this video together. I have a Sawgrass SG500 and multiple converted Epson printers. Which printer, ink, and print settings do you use? I’m impressed with the color and sharpness of the image subbed on using the HTVRont paper. You can really see the saturation in the red lipstick, hair and blouse. It’s even more crisp like you stated in the video. I currently use a different sub paper and would like to try this one out. I absolutely love your channel and the way you explain things as well as the content. Thank you for sharing!
For this project, I used a converted Epson Ecotank 2760 with Cosmos Ink. I also have an Epson Ecotank 15000 with Hiipoo ink in it. I always use high quality with the presentation matte paper. I know it uses more ink, but that is what I use. I converted a friend's printer (it was an Ecotank but I do not remember the model) and put Printers Jack ink into it. It printed really nice colors as well. Thanks so much for your comment and for watching!!!
Thank you! You’re the best!
@@HeyCaudle is this MC from KC?
Hi Marilyn,
I've never been to KC.
@@HeyCaudle I communicate with a lady named Mary who changed her RUclips username to MC from KC, and I thought she maybe shortened it to MC:) Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I appreciate it!
which one did you print first, I always get red around darks first few prints after it sits just a little bit so I do a print head cleaning
I don't remember which one I printed first but I always get that effect with that ink when I print black. The red just seeps out.
I use A-Sub brand 120g and 125g. Nice to see there are other options.
This A-SUB was the 125g. Do you see a difference between A-SUB's 120g and 125g?
@@MakingwithMarilyn I use the heavier weight for highly color saturated sumlimation projects because the paper can hold more ink. The 120g weight for lighter sublimation and requires less ink. I do find that I use the 125g most often because of the designs.
Marilyn, always here to save the day, when I have nothing to watch! lol.
Hey Shay Shay, thanks so much!!!
Hi Marilyn, thank you for sharing- I love this video! New sub here!
Thank you so much!
Which press looked most true to the image on the computer
I don't really remember because the video was made quite some time ago, but I absolutely love my HTV Ront paper and it is my go to paper. Really, I love all papers other than the Hiipoo b/c it bleeds red out of the the black. Not sure why the red separates out of it, but that has been my experience.
Hello ..great info 😊
Thank you!!! And thanks for watching:)
What kind of ink did you use in this video? I don't recall you saying in the video and if you did, sorry. I'm in the process of purchasing everything I need for sublimation and just doing some research on different products I will be needing. Your video was very useful.
These were printed with Cosmos ink. The printer I use now has Hiipoo ink in it and I really like it as well. Hiipoo is available on Amazon. Cosmos ink might be now but when I bough it, it was not.
@@MakingwithMarilyn Thank you so much for answering my question. I am up in the air on Hiipoo and Printers Jack ink.😔
@@TiaGarner I put printers jack ink in my friend’s printer and it was very nice also.
@Making with Marilyn do u like the hippo ink I and new and ordered that but not sure what kind to order have unused the htv ink? I am converting epson 2800 so can't use printer jack in that one thanks in advance
Awesome
Thank you!
which ink do you like best, hiipoo or cosmo
They are both beautiful, but Hiipoo is inexpensive and available on Amazon. I will continue to use it. I also like it a tad bit more.
it's the laugh for me. 💕💕
You're so sweet!!! I do so many silly things that I either have to laugh or cry:)
What ink did you print with?
This was using Cosmos Ink. I typically use my larger printer now and it has Hiipoo ink in it.
Which ink do you recommend htvront or hiippo
I have Hiipoo Ink in one of my printers and Cosmos Ink in the other. I really love them both. I filled a friend's printer with Printers Jack ink and it is good also. I didn't even know HTVRont had sublimation ink but I absolutely love their sublimation paper!
Which one ended up being your favorite?
As I recall, it was one of the Printers Jack papers. I believe I included the pink back and blue back in this. Now, my "go to" paper is HTV Ront in the 120 gsm. They also have 125 gsm if that thickness works best in your printer. Here is my favorite. amzn.to/3PiIqWf
Hi what type of ink are you using?
In this video, I used Cosmos Ink. I have another printer with Hiipoo Ink in it. I love them both. Thank you for watching!
@@MakingwithMarilyn yes me too, the Epson ET 15000 with hiipoo ink ....the biggest problem I am having is after tearing the paper to get rid of thr hard lines before the print, I am seeing the tear lines on the fabric now. I've adjusted the pressure and still getting them. Any ideas?
I USE A-SUB PAPER BUT I WILL BE GIVING HTV RONT A TRY
I can send you some sheets to try Stacey. Email me if you would like to try some:)
❤️
Thanks Uni!
Hi…What ink did you use?
This video was done with Cosmos Ink. I have a second printer that I use with Hiipoo Ink in it. I love the Hiipoo ink.
@@MakingwithMarilyn awe, thank you so much for your response. I loved the colors on you purple nurse tumbler. 🙋🏻♀️
@@MC-of7ow thank you! That is one of my all time favorite tumblers!
I have printer jack sub paper and it will not transfer
Oh no, I'm so sorry! What type of ink are you using?
What ink was used for these
These were printed with Cosmos Ink. I have another printer with Hiipoo Ink. I love them both.
@@MakingwithMarilyn thank you for the quick reply
I'm only at 3 minutes and I can see the difference in the unpressed paper when looking at her blouse.
I was so pleasantly surprised! I didn't have a reason to doubt it, but I sure didn't expect it to be at the top of my list now:)
Hey Mar Bear!!!
Hey Patrice!!! Happy Monday:)
HI MARILYN
Hey Stacey!!!
Looking at the lips HTV RONT is better
I really love the HTV Ront paper!!! It has become my "go to" paper.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What in the world was I thinking taping it on like that!!!
