I still miss her so much. No death of someone i didn't actually know ever hit me as hard as hers did. All my love to you babes ❤ wherever you are now
So tragic. I was ironically in rehab when she passed. When staff told me about it i was more motivated than ever to complete my time there and not check out early.

She still holds so much relevance and power in the music industry to this day. Thats how talented, beautiful and mesmerising she was. Rest in peace you wonderful woman, you will never be forgotten ❤
She was an amazing talent, and I’m glad her family are doing this. She struck a very deep and personal place in a lot of people, and the shock of her death reopened old wounds in a lot of people who drew courage and strength from her. As so often happens in times like that people need someone to blame, and many chose her family. Music is a very intimate thing, and can cause people to feel like Amy was their friend and confidant. The grief is real and raw for her fans AND for her family.🖤🇨🇦
I love Amy, she was no show off like most of female celebrities, she was down to earth, best singer EVER such a tragic loss of a wonderful woman ♥️

Everyone around her failed her! What an incredibly beautiful and talented soul! So unbelievably tragic and sad and now I understand why my own artist daughter does not share her art with the world. This world is not worthy of the beauty sensitive artists like Amy and so many others give. God rest your soul, Amy!

Her parents especially failed her. This video reeks of guilt for not having protected her. Her parents regarded her as a cash cow. Such a tragedy. Such talent. I miss her very much.
I watch the powerful 2015 documentary "Amy" and saw how bad her dad was so I'm definitely going to have to watch this and compare it.
Can't believe how it's 10 years on. Deeply sadden with Amy death. Wish I could fight my silent depression. it's just like an addiction, however, years on. Love you Amy' 💔💔💔💔💔

If anything her story is about the dangers of continuing to sanctify lousy parents just because they’re your parents.
You don’t get to see past the dysfunction they instilled and conceive a different life and coping mechanisms.
People are not born dysfunctional, they’re the result of their environment.
The readiness of both her mother and father to deny any responsibility says it all.

@@brentthompson1607 the drugs and the alcohol killed her?? addiction is a beast that’s what destroyed her. She was afraid of getting help, and mental health conditions weren’t so well known then.

@@brentthompson1607 It's not that simple. Yes, it was a mistake of her father to not recognise that Amy needed rehab at that time, but Amy did go to rehab several times in the years after writing that song. Unfortunately, addiction is very complex and rehab isn't a magic trick to cure somebody.
