The “Jabba the Hut” dude is actually one of the most powerful spell casters in the world. In lore he accidentally killed a lot of dwarves because a continent was an inch to right when it was suppose to be an inch to left.

This compilation is missing some game 2 trailers. "The Prophet and the Warlock" (if you're a fan of the movie "Predator", pay extra attention to this trailer), "The Hunter and the Beast", "The Warden and the Paunch", "The Shadow and the Blade", "The Silence and the Fury", and "The Twisted and the Twilight". I *think* those are all the missing DLC trailers for game 2.
Each game has a set of 4-6 core factions, and more that get added in DLCs. For the first game, it takes place in what is a kind of geographical cross-breed between historical Europe and Middle Earth(early GW ripped of tons of stuff, especially Tolkien with way too little subtlety), you had The Empire, which is sort of Germanic renaissance human nation, Dwarfs(in Warhammer, plural of "dwarf" is "dwarfs", not "dwarves" as in LotR), the Greenskins(Orcs and Goblins), Vampire Counts, to which get added Chaos Warriors (roided-up demon worshippers), Norsca (slightly less hardcore roided up demon worshippers based on evil heavy metal vikings), Bretonnia (feudal French and assorted European knightly culture), Wood Elves, and Beastmen.
Game 2 ventures outside of the analog for Europe and kind of checks off the rest of the Western hemisphere with Ulthuan (a sort of Atlantis-esque island in the equivalent of the Atlantic, where the High elves live), Naggaroth (analog for North America, which is amusingly populated with Dark Elves, it's basically all evil, depressed Canada), Lustria(analog for South Ameirca, filled with Lizardmen), and the Southlands (analog for Afirca, filled with... well, mostly random stuff, orcs, Lizardmen, skeleton Egyptians), so basically 4 continents, compared to the first game which focused on one continent.
It wouldn't be very original of me to point out that the further a place is from Europe, the more likely the people there are to get represented as some random fantasy monster vaguely influenced by that real culture, although Games Workshop do seem like they're more interested in fleshing more diverse human factions in the setting, and making them less silly.
Anyway, for game 2 there was the "Mortal Empires" DLC, which let you play on a sort of combined mega map if you owned game 1 and 2. For game 3 there's the predictably named "Immortal Empires" map, which is huge, and, which actually does not require that you own all 3 games, but game 1 and 2 factions will not be playable on that campaign unless you own their respective games and DLCs.
As for what kinds of factions game 3 adds, well, you'll see. Having exhausted most of the well-established Warhammer setting, the factions for game 3 delves into the more exotic and fantastical aspects of Warhammer, and brings in nations we previously didn't not know quite as much about.

2:36 those are the lizardmen, the children of the gods and the defenders of the Great Plan, created by the enegmatic old ones as soldiers in their war against chaos these coldblooded creatures are born in the spawning pools of the temple cities in lustria, after the dissapearance of the old ones the lizardmen and their leaders the Slann mage priests have been trying to figure out the plan of the old ones. They defend their lands fiercely and often seek the lost plaques containing the knowledge of their masters, they also have som tech of their masters left like orbital sun lasers (no i am not making this up)

Lizardmen. A race of ancient coldblooded Tribal peoples that were technically the first race of civilized sapients to exist on this world, following the arrival of the Old Ones.

Glad you're enjoying. So, how this connects to the last game. Think of Earth: Game 1 takes place in exclusively Europe, Game 2 has all the factions from Africa, North and South America, and Game 3, which takes place from Russia to China. It doesn't take place on earth, but the map looks very similar to it, so it's an apt comparison. Each game combines the content from the previous games, too, making one massive game. That's what Mortal Empires and Immortal Empires is.
Oh, btw, the video you watched missed a bunch of trailers from tww2. notably "the Prophet and the Warlock", "the Hunter and the Beast", "the Shadow and the Blade", "the Warden and the Paunch", "the Twisted and the Twilight" and "the Slience and the Fury" Trailers. And yeah, 3 gets better, chaotic even.

The thing about Warhammer is that every faction needs to be strong enough to fight every other faction including their own. This is why the world is so messed up. There is no "good guys eventually win" rule

13:39 before it became a dessert Nehekhara was the greatest and mightiest human civilisation in the warhammer world, they could use their magic to animate statues to fight alongside them with souls of the dead, when nehekhara fell after Nagash the great necromancer's spell went wrong those constructs have remained in use by the now reanimated tomb kings.

"Blood for the Blood God" is a blood effect DLC . They made it seperate to keep the age restriction low. All newer Total War titles do that.

    The Hunter and The Beast,
    The Shadow and The Blade,
    The Warden and The Paunch,
    The Twisted and The Twilight
    &
    The Silence and The Fury.
BEFORE you move on to the Warhammer III trailers.

6:41 that armored dark elf is Malekith the witch king, he tried to usurp the throne of phoenix king but ended up burning his whole body, which is why he wears that full armor

    • @Aenarion28
      @Aenarion28 11 месяцев назад +2

Malekith is also over 5000 years old. He is also the son of the first Phoenix King so technically he is not a usurper. The Asur were fools to not have him become the new king because unlike Bel'Shannor, Malekith continues to fight Chaos

They have cobined all three games into Mortal Empires, think of Warhammer 1 as the continent of europe, warhammer 2 is north and south america, warhammer 3 is asia (very roughly taken
) They added a campaing wich combines all races from 1 2 and 3 on a gigantic worldsized map

SOmething they did with the 2nd game that they also did with the 3rd one that is crazy to me and absolutly amazing.
If you had the 1st TW:WHB game AND the 2nd game, the Mortal Empires dlc, allowed you to COMBINE and FUSE the Factions and world Map of the 2 games into ONE!!!
1st game mainly concentrate itself in the "Old World", the Warhammer world map More or less is made up like our own World map.
So you can make out the "Old World" like Europe etc, the Deserts of Khemri being North africa and Cathay being Asia.
The 2nd Game focused on the "New World" continent, wich is, well North and Southern America.
Each games with the waring factions that are cannonicly on that specific continent, the empire of men, Bretonia, Wood Elves, Skavens and Dwarves, with Chaos Warriors, Daemons, Vampires Counts , Beastmen and Orce & Goblins, on the Old World continent of the 1st game.
While the 2nd game and the New World, had Dark Elves, High Elves, Lizardmen, some sub factiosn of Skavens and Pirate vampires.
The Mortal empire DLC, allowed for ther player to play ANY of the 2 games factions, and go ANYWHERE on the World map, be it the Old world or the New world.
Since there's like 18 factions, with each its own subfactions and heroes in it, it makes for like 30 factions you can choose from and a GIGANTIC world map to explore and conquer.
    Its absolutly MASSIVE.
And they did the same thing with the 3rd Game, the Mighty Empires dlc, wich combines the 1st, 2nd and 3rd games Factions and Maps into ONE.
    Its absolutly crazy.

pretty much all of them cultivate into one giant map in warhammer 3 called immortal empires. its got every faction from warhammer 1,2, and 3. u dont have to own all of them to play immortal empires and see those factions all u need is warhammer 3 total war and u can play a few factions in immortal but the more dlcs u own including wahammer 1 and 2 opens up more factions to play. its fun as hell. and bloody if u get that dlc iv got thousands of hours in warhammer total war even more if u count every total war
