Thanks to everyone that is helping us find the missing Total War Warhammer 2 trailers we haven't seen. Is there a video out there that has all the Total War Warhammer 3 trailers?
I would highly recommend this link to a playlist of all the campaign cutscenes in Total War Warhammer 2. It includes both the four main campaigns and the DLC ones. They're worth watching and hopefully reacting too! ruclips.net/video/5Qqz_wcE4L8/видео.html
You still gotta react to the rest of the trailers for Total War Warhammer 2! Their quality grows exponentially. They're called: The Prophet & the Warlock The Hunter & the Beast The Shadow & the Blade The Warden & the Paunch The Twisted & the Twilight The Silence & the Fury And there's also a High Elves trailer but it's in a format of 360°
They don't need to react to everything. Those dlc trailers are pretty good though. I'm more excited to see their reactions to the WH3 videos though as CA really stepped up their game with those trailers.
The Prophet and the Warlock, the Twisted and the Twilight and the Warden and the Paunch trailers just have to be looked at, they're amazing. Imo the others are kind of mediocre but those 3 are fantastic
the full armored guy u were wondering about at 7:52, that is a mask. the extremely abbreviated notes for his lore was he got full body burns and was sealed inside the armor to keep himself alive, AKA the Darth Vader of Warhammer fantasy. also i mainly play dark elves and tomb kings

The rats are called "Skaven", they're incredibly fun to play. One od my favorite voicelines is when you have a commander set sail on the ocean and they say, " Hahaha big puddle!" They're basically like mad scientists mixed with methheads who throw endless numbers at there enemies. It's great
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames They're much more comparable to the Nazis, with some dark steampunk and voodoo thrown in. Everyone hates them, even the forces of Chaos. Never trust a Skaven.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I know this one is a late addition! but for mye it's Always Lizardmen or Vampire Counts. However i only seem to do any progress with skaven! I want to steamroll stuff with Nakai the Wanderer not Ikkit! I mean i don't steamroll with him either! i just don't lose as fast! And i am playing on easy!
The Vampire coast leader that was talking in the DLC trailer had his mind fractured by a Lizardmen artifact. So he has many personalities as a consequence of it. He is now obsessed with finding all of them to heal his mind and becoming one mind again. As a person who is interested in ancient egypt and its style, I must agree with you that Tomb Kings are a favourite.
Actually, you can play with all the factions from game 1 and game 2. There is a game map called mortal empires which combines them all. Same will be true for game 3 factions. So, in the end all factions will be playable in one huge map. Trailers you missed are: Total War: WARHAMMER 2 / The Prophet & the Warlock Trailer Total War: WARHAMMER 2 / The Hunter & The Beast Trailer Total War: WARHAMMER 2 / The Shadow & the Blade Trailer Total War: WARHAMMER 2 / The Warden & the Paunch Trailer Total War: WARHAMMER 2 / The Twisted & the Twilight Trailer Total War: WARHAMMER 2 / The Silence & the Fury Trailer
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames And you only have to buy the DLC once. For example if you already have the Beastmen DLC for TWW 1 you'll be able to play with the Beastmen in TWW 2 and 3 without having to pay for them again.
A little history on Luthor Harkon (the vampire pirate, for context): First we see him is in old Nehekara (Egypt), serving as a guardsman under Queen Neferata, the first vampire. (Harkon's actually part of Abhorash's cadre, but that's a long explaination and I'd have to talk about the history of the blood dragon vampire knights.) He suddenly vanishes without a trace for the next few thousand years and suddenly reappears in an excavated sarcophagus on a merchant ship being taken to the empire for study. Long story cut short, some dipshit wakes him up and he gets a little 'sucky' with the crew, taking the ship for himself and going off to raid and search for power in the one thing older than even the elves to Nehekaran knowledge: the lizard men. So a tomb guard becomes a bit of a would-be tomb robber, looking for power. Unfortunately he runs headlong into an ancient trap and gets his brain scrambled, going completely mad with a fractured mind and multiple personalities. He then goes off with what's left of his sanity to try and find a way to fix himself. So yes, your guess about a "curse" is actually quite on point!
tomb kings are a personal fav of mine as well, love their aesthetic. As for the vampire coast, they have by far the best trailer. It gets even better when you understand the lore behind that Vampire pirate guy who was digging. He always says things like "The tales we could tell" and at first it makes you think hes talking about multiple people. But once you understand that he has tons of different personalitys all vying for dominance in his head, and suddenly his lines take on a bit of a different meaning. Guy messed with ancient Lizardman magical treasures and it fucked up his mind big time, and now hes just trying to find those trinkets again so he can put himself back together. There are a few more trailers for Total War Warhammer 2 still out there! Love to see ya react to that.
"What's with the rat?" oh my friend, saying that in Warhammer Fantasy is probably a death sentence haha. Just because the Skaven are one of the most (or probably the most) dangerous enemies you can face in the fantasy world. And that's because you normaly can figure out what your enemies want, the orcs, the chaos, the dark elves, etc. They usually follow a pattern, but it's too hard to know what the Skaven really want, and surely by the time you find out it will be too late. They have an empire under the earth that no one knows its total size, but some believe that they practically occupy the entire underground world and their number is practically infinite, because no matter how many you kill of them, there will always be more. They are treacherous, cunning, carry plagues with them, mutations and have quite advanced weapons technology for how barbaric they seem to be. And trust me, they are no fools. And on the vampire coast question, why are they so obsessed with treasure? well, they're not, at least not all of them. The one you see speaking is Luthor Harkon. a Vampire lord who wanted to enter a Lizardmen temple to plunder its treasures but it was protected by runes, a type of magic used by the Lizardmen. He wanted to force his way in using his own vampire magic, but everything went wrong, not only did he almost die, but his consciousness was divided into several personalities that take turns taking control of him, and not only that, but he also lost his Magic. That's why when he speaks he refers to "us" when in fact he is talking about himself. That's why he's obsessed with treasures, because he believes that in some temple, the Lizardmen have some secret cure to his condition, to get his magic back, and to put his mind back together once more.
So the Skaven are kind of like Tyranids in this 🤔 most dangerous because they just consume? Or are we they little more sophisticated than the Tyranids in 40k? 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Not exactly, the Tyranids want to consume the galaxy and evolve, their main goal is just to eat everything hahaha. The Skaven want to conquer the world and in fact they are very capable of doing it, if only they would stop fighting each other haha. The Tyranids are a more savage race, more instinctive, even when they attack a world they usually conquer it by sheer force of numbers. On the other hand, the rats are quite intelligent, completely unpredictable, they will weaken an enemy as much as they can before attacking it, trying at all costs that the enemy does not see them coming. There are stories of entire armies of Skaven emerging from the earth amid towns and cities, completely destroying everything in a matter of hours and quickly disappearing before the empire can even react. They have filled entire territories with plagues, they have assassinated important characters that could be a threat to them, they have been allies of chaos like any other race that could give them a benefit at the time, of course betraying them once it was no longer beneficial to them. There are even Witch hunters who have said that no matter who you're up against, chaos, orcs, dark elves, etc there is surely a Skaven involved behind it all, waiting in the shadows for the right moment to strike. A Fun Fact, during the End Times, the clan Skryre (One of the Skaven Clans) decided to destroy the Dark Moon, and they did, they literaly blow up giant pieces of the moon sending hundres of meteorites upon the Lizardmen. However, they killed the rest of the Skaven who were in the continent of Lustria in the process haha.
Cool thing about Total War: Warhammer series is that if you own the previous games, the armies that were in the first game and second game could be imported into the newest game, so you never feel like you’re leaving behind your favorite factions.
Took some time, but it was worth the wait. I just hope immortal empires doesn't take too long. Those changes to siege and minor settlement battles alone will take a lot of time to add into old maps. Still, I hope Norsca and the Warriors of Chaos get the lovin' they deserve. Beastmen have been laughing at them for months now.
If you wanna learn more about some of the specific characters from these games, Cody Bonds’ “Noob’s guide to Total War: Warhammer” videos are hilarious and informative
haha literally just finished a campaign as the High Elves, so excited for Warhammer 3. There were originally 4 races to play when the game first launched but they added more races and ones that appeared in the first game.
@@lordkroak9468 Lizardmen and Dwarves are my other main ones I gravitate towards. I can't get the hang of any of the undead factions really and I find Skaven units too squishy for me haha
23:34 the pirate there is luther harcon, his personality was split and besides raiding coastal cities, he gathers relics from the lizardmen to make himself HIM again, and not the 10-20 others he becomes from time to time.
Awesome reaction! Vampire pirates are also my favorite faction in warhammer 2. Also, since there aren't any videos with all the warhammer 3 trailers, I'm just gonna put a list of the trailers here There are 2 types of 'cinematic trailers'. The unit showcases, that focuses on one unit, while cinematic trailers focus on 1+ factions. You can skip unit showcases if you want to, they're not as important as the cinematic ones. This is awesome guys, love watching the Warhammer content. Excited to see the rest of the Warhammer 2 trailers and then Warhammer 3. The best is still to come!
4:14 the great purpose is the mission of the lizard men. They were created by a now missing (extinct?) race of super powerful beings called the Old Ones to maintain balance in the material realm. 8:00 yes that is just a mask he was disfigured when he tried to seize control of the elves and was then cast out, creating the dark elf factions 12:18 Blood for the blood god is the war cry of the followers of Khorne, this trailer was for a DLC to add gore effects to the campaign. 13:47 the Egyptian god with a crocodile head would be Sobek lord of rivers. 26:49 you can play as the other ones they came later as Expansions that’s why they had their own trailers.
I seem to remember more hype centered on the Skaven at launch but maybe they weren’t as featured in the trailers. For me they’re one of the most interesting races in fantasy and I’ve read every book that I know of containing them. Hyped for “The Prophet and the Warlock “ trailer reaction next batch. I really got a kick out of how they did it.
A bit more information for you guys, the base game comes with those 4 factions you saw, more were added with free content patches and paid dlc. The gist of the main game is to fight over that swirly vortex you see in the backgeound, some people want to stabalize it to prevent chaos from manifesting in the world and others want to destroy it. You get 3 guesses to figure out what happens since Total Warhammer 3 shows so many demons. Important info if you guys want to play, mutliplayer is fun BUT it removes most cutscenes and story elements from the game, so there is always the choice to tap out between yourselves and play in singleplayer. Otherwise the gameplay stays the same. In multiplayer you both choose factions to play as, not always close to each other, you can quite literally be playing together but have your factions on the opposite sides of the map and be unable to interact. But during battles you can give soldiers to your ally to take control of so you can both participate. Aside from the 4 main factions all the dlc ones have their own unique goals and mechanics, for example the pirate vampires want to collect all the lizard trinquets to do something. As always i love your reactions and hope you guys have a nice day.
also about the crocodile dude there are multiple versions of them They are called ushabti and they are part of the construct tree they fall apart over time and are my favorite faction
9:53 The giant Skaven monster is called a Hell Pit Abomination, created Clan Moulder, one of the four Great Clans amongst the Skaven. They're the Dr. Frankensteins of Skaven society, and spend their time creating all manner of twisted monsters to serve in the Skaven armies, frequently by mutating existing creatures with warpstone or fusing them together with other beasts. In one of the Gotrek and Felix novels, Skavenslayer, they aid in the invasion of Nuln by making a horde of large, fast-breeding super-aggressive rats to devour every foodstuff in the city and leave the defenders too starving to fight back. The other main Skaven clans are Eshin (ninja rats), Pestilens (plague cultists who spend their time brewing and spreading horrifying diseases), and Skryre (who make warpstone-powered magitek devices, like the Warp Lightning Cannon and the Doomsphere). 12:04 Another layer to the "Blood for the Blood God" trailer that you might find interesting is that its two main characters, Tyrion of Ulthuan (the High Elf with the flaming sword who acts as the narrator) and Malekith the Witch King (the big scary Darth Vader-lookalike) are actually very distant cousins. They're both descended from Aenarion the Defender, first of the Phoenix Kings; Malekith is Aenarion's son with his second wife, Morathi (the black-haired woman in the Dark Elves trailer), while Tyrion and his twin brother Teclis (the mage in the cinematic trailer) can trace their ancestry back six thousand years to Aenarion's first marriage. It all comes down to blood indeed...
Fun fact: They released the dark elf trailer of the man in full armour, called Malekith like one month after the star wars movie rogue one came out. Having the famous and awesome darth vader scene at the end, and you can clearly see they took inspiration from that darth vader scene with malekith.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames The comparison really comes closer then you would expect since that armor is fused to his skin after he was burned almost to death in Phoenix flames due to being too corrupt and filled with Dark Magic.
Prophet and the Warlock and The Warden and the Paunch are my favourite trailers they have done for Warhammer 2. Skaven (rats) are my favourite race to play they have access to nukes and machine guns
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames That's because you have yet to watch the trailer for the DLC that adds it, literally would have been the next one after the Vampire Coast if the video had them all. Bummed you didn't get to see it.
Great reaction. I've been looking forward to this. Yeah, you basically missed all DLCs (except for the Queen and the Crone). The best thing about this game is that it adds up to the previous one. So if you have WH1 you can play with Vampires in WH2 it's great. It basically made the world MUCH bigger. It is the biggest total war game world ever that will get even bigger with WH3. All races, factions, units, etc. you see in these trailers are in the game. These may be cinematic trailers but the game looks almost 90% identical to what you see in the videos. I only hope we get the rest of the trailers before WH3 trailers so we have it all in chronological order :D
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Buy games 1 and 2 and all the dlc and you can play mortal empires which is a free dlc. When game 3 comes out they're going to make and even bigger mortal empires dlc combining all three games
@@1s23d you only need base game 1 and 2 to unlock mortal empire in game 3 (which will not be available at release but some time after.) Any dlc is optional. But does cross over to game 3 making it a big game with all content from previous games except. Their respective solo campagnes.
The Queen from the Queen & The Crone trailer, Alarielle the Radiant, is probably my favorite lord to play as. Lore-wise, she is similar to Galadriel in some ways, but different in others. She was one of the youngest, if not the youngest, elves ever to be crowned Everqueen, and she was crowned when the High Elves' island home was basically being burnt to the ground by Dark Elves. She helped rally the High Elven army to finally retake their homeland. Unlike the previous Everqueens who actively sought to avoid the battlefield, Alarielle instead views it as her duty to face the forces that threaten the balance of the world directly. As one of the two 'mortal' representatives of the Elven goddess Isha (the other being the quasi-immortal Wood Elven queen Ariel), Alarielle actively seeks to hunt down and destroy the servants of the Chaos gods, such as Crone Hellebron.
Tomb Kings are my favourite faction. Found them years ago when I went past a Hobby Store and they had the factions leader, Settra the Imperishable advertised. I was obsessed with Ancient Egypt at the time so it hooked me then and there. No regrets now, my Tabletop Army is huge for the Tomb Kings. I also have a Settra tattoo. Glad you guys liked them because I had a nerdout when the trailer first launched.
Here's some interesting lore I think, so the rats, called the Skaven, are actually ruled by a council not a single king, like how most fantasy things have a rat race
Another great review guys! As a big fan of both the Tomb Kings and ancient mythology, I thought you might find this interesting: There is an Egyptian god who had a crocodile's head. His name was Sobek, and he was regarded as both a protector and a destroyer; mainly, he was one of the fertility gods, and also a god of military might. He had a fierce personality, but was often called upon for protection from the dangers of the Nile. I can't remember the name of it, but at Sobek's principal temple the priests used to keep a sacred crocodile, which was believed to be Sobek incarnate!
28:30 The Vampire Coast Guy, Luthor Harkon he is cursed by "lizard trinkets", he lost his magic powers and got his personality shatered to a hundread pieces (He even says "I was one, now we are many" and "put ourselfes back togather"). He is looking for them to undo it
Thank you for looking at these trailers. One thing to consider is that the Everqueen Allarielle is not just a Galadriel, she is the living embodiment of the Elven Mother Goddess, Isha (Literally her Avatar). Her mere presence disrupts daemons and she is a direct descendant of the first Everqueen, and her body guard of the all female Handmaidens are one of the most deadly fighting forces in the world. It is said that her beauty is second to none and only the dark enchantments of the Dark Elf Queen, Morathi comes close (though her beauty is only sustained by bathing in the blood of the dead). The High Elves are something of a passion of mine, it is something I love to gush about and often do to my friends until they are sick of it and ask me to stop.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames well in the first trailer yall watched the Elf Archmage is known as Teclis and is the most powerful mortal sorcerer in the world. He considers it his duty to defend the world while his twin Tyrion, the greatest general and melee combatant since his ancestor the first Phoenix King Aenarion, guards the High Elves (Asur) island of Ulthuan. Teclis is so farsighted that he taught humans how to wield magic, in fact every human mage you have seen in these cinematics was taught in 1 of 8 different colleges of magic that Teclis set up 200 years previously, his gift was so mighty that it was only the efforts of him and two of his compatriots that managed to match the gift of warriors, arms and armor the dwarves gave to humanity. He is now the leader of the greatest institution of learning the Asur have, the White Tower of Hoeth, a tower so tall it is said to match current day skyscrapers and enchanted that none can approach it if unworthy. Meanwhile Tyrion is guarding the lands and throwing back Norse and Dark Elf raiders, Warden Eltharion the Grim is defeating Goblins led by Grom the Paunch, Alith Anar is hunting Dark Elves and inflicting massive death and grave torments on his fallen kin in Naggoroth and Prince Imrik is gathering the Dragons of the World under his flag to defend the world and burn the Daemons filth away. Facing these noble defenders of the world in the frozen hell of Naggoroth is the Witch King Malekith, the second son of Aenarion (the first was Morelion, suck it Malekith) and is fused to his armor after being found too corrupted by the Elven gods (no I don't consider Age of Simar's lore canon, as in that 'lore' the Elven gods did it as a joke), and his lover/mother Morathi I mentioned above. This humble RUclips commenter does not see how they can ever stand against the true sons of Ulthuan (though I am completely and totally biased in this regard).
I see some comments here answering your questions, I'll quickly summarize some of them: The last trailer you saw is for the base game of Warhammer 2 which only launched with 4 factions. Later down the line they launched more factions, such as the Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast. Additionally, they brought in a myriad of factions from Warhammer 1 in some form or another to be played as well through their "The and The " DLC packs, each pack introducing 2 new playable lords belonging to some faction or another. The Queen and the Crone for example is one such DLC that introduces a couple really powerful female leaders for the High Elf and Dark Elf factions respectively. The vampire pirate is Luthor Harkon, once a treasure hunting vampire. He made the mistake of getting caught in one of the billions of traps the Lizardmen has put in their temples and as a result, he now carries the mother of all headaches. His mind fractured into a dozen different personalities, each vying for control over the body. Any normal mortal would've died from the strain but this guy is a vampire, and thus possess the secrets of immortality hence he's still up and at it. He believes that collecting enough Lizardmen artifacts will allow him to put his mind back together. That giant sea monster you wondered about is part of his in-game storyline. Harkon and the whole Vampire Coast is interesting because they are the only Warhammer faction that was invented by Creative Assembly, rather than Games Workshop who owns the Warhammer and 40k franchises. The guy in black armor is called Malekith, ruler of the Dark Elves. He believes himself rightful ruler of ALL Elves, but his claim of being Phoenix King was rebuked and he was defeated long ago. He's been nursing a millenia old grudge against the High Elves and wants them all dead and gone so that Dark Elves are the only Elves. The woman besides him who eggs him on is his own mother, who fell from grace alongside her son and has an equal grudge against the High Elves because of it. The "Rat Kings Army", well that claim is close to it. The rat lord in red armor is Queek Headtaker, probably one of the smartest Skaven. Skaven is the name of the ratmen and they are terrifying. Now, fun fact about Skaven society: If you stab your superior in the back, you take his position. As such, there is no loyalty among the ratmen and the strong survive while the weak perish. Skaven also have no concept of population control and will breed at cataclysmic levels always. This leads to millions of ratmen dying of starvation every couple years as there's too many mouths and too little food. On the plus side, they will eat ANYTHING including fallen enemies. The Skaven all answer to something called The Council of 13 and 13 is a number that shows up often in their culture. If you listen closely in their trailer, the bell tolls 13 times, this is in reference to one of the Skaven legends. Copying that is too much here, but its called "The Doom of Kavzar" if you wanna check it out. Warhammer 3 is gonna be amazing and I'm greatly looking forward to seeing your reactions to the trailers and cinematics released for it! ^_^
The Vampire Pirate featured in the campaign is called Luthor Harkon, and he got his mind split into many parts when he tried to loot a Lizardmen temple. He went nuts, and during the gameplay of his particular campaign, you are basically working to assemble the pieces so he can unify his mind. This plays into the playstyle, whith his stats changing as you play, to reflect his shifting personalities. He's only one of four playable special charactes (Legendary lords as they're called in Total War), the others being Cylostra Direfin who you saw a little featurette on, Count Noctilus who is trying to harness the powers of a massive maelstrom in the sea to power his spell to control all dead sea beings (yikes), and lastly Aranessa Saltspite, who is actually a living human pirate who was cast out of her human tribe for being mutated by Chaos. She seeks to gain the favor of her father(??) the god of storms, who has given her control over the drowned dead, ie. undead pirates. Also, they're all searching for an artifact to control the largest sea-serpent in the world, who you briefly saw the back of in the vampire pirate trailer.
Thanks for your video! As you guessed, that last trailer is the first one, and doesn't include the DLCs, and the Might Empires patch let you combine Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2's campaign world, letting you play accross both continents with all the armies. It's been slowly expanded and added onto as new DLC/FreeLC has been released. So... Lore essays, if you're interested! Lizardmen. The Lizardmen are sorta kinda biological dinosaur-man robots. Let me explain that. The Warhammer World was created and shaped by a vanished race called The Old Ones. It's implied they created earth, too, as they apparently like this sort of shape of continents. They travelled between worlds using magitech gateways at the poles, and it was the collapse of these gateways that unleashed daemons, caused the Beastmen and Skaven to be mutated into existance as the waves of Chaos magic flowed into the world, created the Chaos Wastes, north of Norsca, and basically ruined everything. They left their servants behind, several races of cold-blooded, highly ordered beings, born from spawning pools in the warm places of the world, each designed for their tasks, the Saurus Warriors who defended the magitech ziggurats and huge devices, the quick and clever Skinks who and the magical, but lazy far-seeing Slaan, the froggy mage-priests - Lizardman Jabba as you said. The Lizardmen are utterly devoted to the Old One's great plan, even if they're not sure exactly what it leads to, and are essentially the personification of Order in the Warhammer World. The Lizardmen build in stone and gold, as the various races have rediscovered Lustria (Warhammer's South America) they've also found mysterious cities, covered in gold and grabbed as much as they could before being slaughtered for *no reason* by the lizardmen who live in the cities and jungles. The Skaven, ratmen, in particular have set up camp in Lustria, their plague-cults corrupting and killing the Lizardmen in huge numbers. The Elves... well take the Tolkein elves, add a dash of Elric of Melniboné. Add a dash of British upperclass pretentiousness and selfishness, and you have the High Elves. After their King was killed by the Dwarves in the great war that shattered both empires (the War of Vengeance, aka The War of The Beard), the Crown Prince, Malekith was rather unpopular, thanks to his conniving and corrupt mother, the sorceress Morathi. The exact details of how are unclear, but Malekith failed his initiation as Pheonix King - walking through a magical fire unharmed - and was horribly burned. Morathi claimed the fire had been sabotaged, and the civil war ended up devastating Ulthuan, the Elves' homeland. The northern provinces that supported Malekith eventually ended up having to turn their cities into giant stone ships and sailing north along with their horrible burned King and Morathi. Morathi made her son a suit of magical Darth Vader style armour that fused to his burned body and stops him dying of infection, but he is still in great pain, which has made him cruel, twisted an bitter. The High and Dark elves have warred on ever since. The High Elves in general are melancholy people, and have generally retired to their estates to wait for the end of the world, but those who have not are amongst the greatest champions of life and sanity. The High Elf mage Teclis broke his own people's laws to teach magic to the fledgeling Human empire, and has kept in close contact since then, with an Elven embassy in Altdorf, the Empire's capital and strong trade links to Brettonia and the Empire. Teclis' twin brother, Tyrion, is perhaps the greatest general and swordsman alive - he is the main elf fighting Malekith in the Blood for the Blood God trailer. Elven sailors are said to be the best in the world, and the High Elf navy is the main defense the south has agains the Norscan longships, and it is the menhirs and the Maelstrom, the great magically created storm, that draws away and drains the magic that has leaked into the world since fall of the Old Ones that stops Chaos from consuming the Old World. Skaven... Skaven are probably a stable variant of beastmen, and they represent the excesses of capitalism and human nature. Skaven do not have a word for cowardice, instead using the term "prudent Skaven caution" and consider outnumbering their enemies four to one as a heroic endeavour. Skaven are cowardly, first and foremost, callous, treacherous, paranoid and conniving. That said, they are fast, dextrous, intelligent and inquisitive. Small and generally physically weak, Skaven are the most numerous of all the races in Warhammer, and live in hidden burrows deep underground, gathering in stinking Under-cities where they breed massive swarming populations, the majority of which will be enslaved by their stronger more aggressive brethren. Skaven practice powerful magic, engineering, monster husbandry and all manner of war-craft, but all of them incredibly dangerous. If everything goes right for a Skaven force they are unstoppable, but their wizards have a tendancy to overdose on their magic and explode, their magically overcharged weaponry has a tendency to miss, or explode and their powerful, angry monsters have a tendancy to panic, rampage or explode. Skaven's natural instinct to betray each other makes them excellent politicians, and they often employ human agents, and it's a rare great city that doesn't have Skaven lurking in it's sewers. Skaven regard themselves as the master race, and see it as their duty to conquor the world in the name of their Chaos God, The Great Horned Rat, his priests, the Grey Seers, and the clan council, the Council of Thirteen. Skaven are hilarious, powerful and unpredictable. In the game, they get bonuses to their population happiness if they break treaties and betray allies, they are the fastest moving race, but only when running away, and will absolutely break, flee and come back two or three times in a battle. The Tomb Kings are the slain remnants of Warhammer's Egyptians, the Nehekarans, and are heavily inspired by The Mummy, Indiana Jones, HP Lovecraft and other pulp adventures. One the mightiest human civilisation the world, Nehekara was annihilated by it's own greatest son, the inventor of Necromancy, Vampires and Ghouls, the most hated person ever to have lived, Nagash. After being chased out of his home Khemri for stealing the throne, raising the dead and generally being a horrible, horrible man, Nagash turned his power on his own people, poisoning their great river, withering their crops and killing and raising their people as the Undead. Assassinated in the moment of his triumph (he's returned though, twice) Nagash lost control of his new nation of Undead, and they found themselves mummified and very much not in the promised land, which has left them pretty annoyed. They have essentially recreated their old feudal civilisation, but with no crops to till, no animals to feed and no families to raise, they spend most of their time under the sands or in their tombs, resting, and cursing the name Nagash. The Tomb Kings, once you get past the whole Undead thing are actually not too bad as far as the races go. They're jealous of their tomb treasures and lands, but if treated with respect and courtesy are usually pretty reasonable, and joined the living in the defense of the world when the Entimes came. The Vampire Coast are why warhammer fans love this game. In 2005, Games Workshop, the company that make Warhammer, launched a worldwide Warhammer (the miniature soldiers) campaign set in Lustria, Warhammer's South America with narrative stories and cool variant armies that never had any models, but offered opportunities for radically different styles of play. Essentially only comprising of a couple of pages of A4 rules, CA have taken this small piece of Warhammer Lore and absolutely gone to town on it, creating this characterful, funny, cool piece of the Warhammer world. Obviously, the Transylvanian-style Vampire Counts didn't have a presence in Lustria, but the maps had a lot of random place names that they'd never really expanded on to kickstart players imaginations. One such was the Vampire Coast. Clearly inspired by Pirates of the Carribean, the Vampire Coast were the servants of Luther Harkon, a vampire whose coffin had been stolen by pirates. He made short work of them, and resurrected them as his zombie servants, but found himself shipwrecked on Lustria's coast. Finding small settlements of pirates, Norscans and other adventurous types, Harkon quickly swelled his forces and became quite a power, until he ran afoul of some cursed Lizardman artefacts which sucked out all his magical power and left him with a fractured mind and multiple personalities. The campaign goal is to gather Lizardman artifacts in the hope that this will somehow restore Luthor's mind - to "put ourselves back together" as the trailer says.
24:40 is indeed just the original base version of TW Warhammer 2, Tomb kings, Vampire coast and Skaven (rat-people) were added later on 10:05 the Mortal Empires merged TW Warhammer 2 and 1. Both are set on different continents and had different playable races, after this you could play as a race from 1st, travel across the world and ocean to the land of 2nd and fight against new races and vice versa
Just a side note, it is hard to include the High Elves trailer because it is in 3D. My favorite factions here are, vampire coast and Skaven. The lore for this game is that a ritual to influence the vortex (the spring vortex in the sky) has been discovered. All factions are now attempting to influence the vortex and change how magic works for ever. The vortex itself is like a siphon that pulls chaos out of the world. Since magic works using chaos, influencing the vortex is like influencing magic itself. The equivalent of finding a way to manipulate gravity on Earth.
The Tomb Kings and the Lizardmen are my favorites from the second game. Nothing beats riding a dinosaur or a giant sphinx into battle, though the new wood elves from a later expansion make me question my choice every time I run the game xD Just so many good choices in this one. There's a bunch more trailers for the Warhammer: Total War 2, especially the ones for DLC expansions that introduce new or expand on existing races. They are 'The prophet & the warlock', 'The hunter & the Beast', 'The Shadow & the Blade', 'The Warden & the Paunch', 'The Twisted & the Twilight', 'The Silence & the Fury'. Most of those have reveal and release trailers respectively, each shows a portion of what's going on with each expansion. Easiest way to find them is on the official Total War channel here on youtube. Hope it helps!
the dude in the full dark armor is a dark elf named Malekith, hes the son of an elf hero...... somewhere in his story he got burned badly and the armor keeps him alive so long as he never removes it, dude is bad ass though
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames haha yeah but this dudes father was the hero of the reg elfs Malekith did some bad stuff to fall from grace and his mother was the one i think who got him the armor and he and his mother pretty much run the dark elf empire
Can't wait for the DLC trailers to be watched too. Their titles are: "The Shadow and the Blade Trailer" "The Hunter and the Beast Trailer" "The Prophet & the Warlock Trailer" "Official The Twisted & The Twilight Trailer" "The Silence & the Fury Official Trailer"
That last trailer was from when the game first came out - they released several of the races separately later, such as the Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast - they're all playable, although some of them were only playable in the Mortal Empires campaign, rather than the story campaign.
Cannot WAIT until you look at the Total War Warhammer 3 trailers, the game is going to release in February so there aren't many trailers yet, but I can't wait to see what you think of the Ogres
I got unreasonably excited when I saw this video had been uploaded. The Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast I was most excited for haha Looking forward to seeing more!
If there are red-eyed rats, you can bet on one thing; there is an army of Skaven somewhere under your feet... and when the vermintide comes out where you can see it, it's usually too late...
The lizardmen faction actually created the warhammer world and engineered the races in it as part of a great plan of some kind. The Jabba the hut guys were the chief servants of the beings that created the Lizardmen and are actually supremely intelligent and powerful sorcerors, capable of moving continents. At some point the warp gates above poles that they used to travel to and from this world collapsed. This allowed raw chaos to pour in. The masters of the lizardmen, the Old Ones (yes, the same old ones that fought the 40k necrons...in the beginning 40k and fantasy were linked) vanished, and the Lizardmen were left to deal with the chaos incursions on thier own. What resulted was a vast and apocalyptic war where armies numbering in the millions were sent to fight the endless ride of daemons pouring in. It only ended when the High Elves created that vortex, siphoning the excess chaos energies and causing the daemons to vanish.
Luthor Harkon, the leader you saw from the vampire coast trailer, was cursed by the lizardmen artifact you saw in the trailer. Well, not neccesarily cursed. The artifact ripped his mind, causing multiple personalities. It's why he says "first we were one, and now we are many", and "we will put ourselves back together again. In order to restore it, you need to find the pieces of the artifact and make it whole again.
Hey guys i want to let you know that i wont be at livestream friday. you might see this before or after but this is because my bed time is before 9 or 9:30 so i wont see you today but if i can i will be there sunday.
One trailer you missed which I think might be a faction Bethany would possibly pick least from how I've seen her react, is the Sisters of Twilight Trailer. The Sisters of Twilight are twin leaders of a Wood Elf Faction, and they are super powerful. They literally cannot die unless you kill both of them at pretty much the same time. Like they can be hurt and 'killed' but if the other twin is still alive they basically just get insta-healed within a moment. Something Arahan has exploited alot since she's the more aggressive of the two. She's cut her way out of the inside of beasts before, she's killed a vampire just a moment after she herself was decapitated.
Yes, we are waiting for a full reaction to all Total War Warhammer 2 vids. I hope this will not be difficult for you. I love you and hug you tenderly. I swear by the beard you are a nice couple
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames now i'll excitedly wait every second until you watch 3! ;P edit: if by chance you see this comment again, there are a few dlc trailers missing in this.
The first 4 in this game were high elves, dark elves, lizardmen, and skaven which are the rats. The other factions were added later, and if you own warhammer 1 all of those factions are added into the mortal empires campaign. Also missing alot of dlcs that were released later. My favorite faction is the vampire coast but i love them all they are all so different. Book of choyer is the channel to go to for lore. The prophet and warlock, shadow and the blade, the hunter and the beast, the warden and the paunch, the twisted and the twilight and the sikence and the fury are all paid dlc you didnt see and then there are character free-lcs as well the last new dlc released in nov or dec cant remember which CA was awesome about keeping new stuff coming
The Skaven the giant rats on the tabletop you can destroy your own rats as you try ito beat the other army. There was a rule in the older version called Life is cheap. You play cowardly. The giant wheel that the rats had was called the doom wheel.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames the giant bell in the video was called the screaming bell, the giant rat monster was called hell abomination, then there are giant rat, ogre rats, some of there innovations will blow up or go haywire, oh in the 8th edition there was the plague furnace, plague catapult.
You should watch some of Engagingbears fan-made cinematic videos of Total War, "Grudgebearer" is definitely my favourite :) dreadfleet is pretty cool to.
I started Warhammer Total War 2, like 3 Weeks ago. I instantly fell in Love with the Skaven (Ratmen) to be more Specific Clan Skryer, i mean c'mon Rats with Gatling guns and Nukes in a Fantasy Game, the're awesome.
The last trailer was for the original base Warhammer 2 factions/ starting factions. if you own the first Warhammer total war game and it's doc's you can play all those factions in Warhammer 2 Mortal Empires map. the other trailers like tomb kings and Curse of the Vampire Coast are expansion Factions or DLC's is what they call it. now in Warhammer 3 if you own both of the previous games and DLC's you can play all the factions in the New Immortal empires map and it's awesome
"What's the Great Purpose?" The Great Purpose - or to use it's Normal name "The Great Plan" is the goal that the Old Ones set for the planet. More than 15.000 years before the time of hte game the planet the game takes place on had been colder and further away from the sun and it's dominant inhabitants had been Dragons and Dragon Ogres (the big 4 centaur like thing from a game 1 trailer). Then the Old Ones arrived. They had decided that this planet - with it's large potential - would have a central place in their unknowable plans and so constructed stellar gates at both poles to allow easy travel to their new colony. Then they used their immense powers to shift the planet's orbit closer to the sun which caused ice to melt and lush forests to grow. The Old Ones allied with the Dragons against the Dragon Ogres and nearly eradicated them - causing the Dragon Ogres to strike a fool's bargain with the Ruinous Powers. Then they created the custodians of the world - the Lizardmen. The Old Ones created servants to tend to their needs. Thus was the first spawning of the Slann Mage-Priests begun. They were the grand viziers, trusted creatures of prodigious intellect, and the only beings able to withstand direct contact with the near-omnipotent Old Ones and comprehend their teachings. It was the Slann who were to guide the lesser races whose creation would soon follow. For upon the world, the Old Ones had encountered many primitive creatures, including those that would one day be transformed into the first Elves, Dwarfs and Men. Powerful and far-sighted, the Old Ones could shape new life forms even from these imperfect materials. They did encounter some creatures whose existence was incompatible with their future plans. As the climate warmed, the Saurus were created to destroy these anomalies and soon vast armies marched to war - a fight to eradicate those native races that needed to be removed. (And believe me. At least one of those was a real piece of work) They also, when they noticed the coming of chaos, created the Ogres and Halflings, but they were unfinished, hence their enormous appetite etc. Basically, Elves, Dwarfs and Men excelled in some areas but had drawbacks at fighting chaos in others. Dwarfs were highly resilient, but at the same time slow to change and not magic inclined (outside their runes), while men are versatile and capable of learning magic, but not as great as that and (relatively) easy to corurpt and mutate. They created the Slann (the toads) to their immense magical might to shape the planet. They created the Saurus as warriors and the Skinks (the little ones) as artisans etc. together with the Kroxigors as building workforce. They also brought blind passengers to the planet. The Greenskins had hitched a ride on their ships. The Lizardmen were waging a campaign to eradicate them - which was going well - when catastrophe struck. The Polar Gates collapsed and Chaos entered the world. The Old Ones disappeared. But they left behind Sacred Plaques with prophecies and instructions that the Slann try to decipher to find out what they should do next. Long Story Short The Great Plan is the original Plan that the Old Ones had for the Planet. Elves on Ulthuan. Humans in the "Old World". Dwarfs in the mountains. Chaos. Undead. Greenskins and Skaven? Erradicated. However not even teh Slann know the exact shape that the Great Plan had. Once there was an argument between the Slann about if the tectonic plates should be moved. One of the Slann in the end went "I'm right! shut up!" and decided to just move htem (lead to him not being talked to for centuries). This caused the Times of Woe to the Dwarfs since the moving of the plates caused a Skaven Doomsday Device to blow up and shift the plates further than intended causing earthquakes etc. The Underway - the great subterran road system linking the dwarfen cities - collapsed and Skaven and Greenskins poured in.
Old ones always seem to have threes grand plans that take millennium to come to fruition. Seems like the old ones and old gods are all just super lazy or super bored 😂🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I mean the old ones are dead and their Great Plan seemed to primarily have been to turn the world into a nice place to live in for the races they uplifted (the dragons becoming sleepy due to the temperature increase). THen Chaos fucked it up. The Lizardmen btw. don't reproduce normally. They spawn from Spawning pools. The spawnings of which the Old Ones actually set via visions of the fture to occure to specific times.
The monster's name in the final of Vampire Coast's trailer is Merwirm. The name of the giant crab is Rotten Leviathan. The humanoid giant construct with cannons in his arm is called Necrofex Colossus. The giant cannon is called Queen Bess. The vampire with a Shovel is called Luthor Harkon, and he's mad. Luthor Harkon is a vampire pirate who was driven insane by a magical accident, which also probably completely cut him off from the winds of magic, so he can only reach the dead, nothing more. According to the rulebook and army books, Luthor is able to control any unit or monster as long as it has been previously killed. This is a link in Spanish (active the english subtitles) about the monsters of the Vampire Coast's trailer. Have fun! ruclips.net/video/5aky4R0US_o/видео.html ruclips.net/video/yeo1eahXyGk/видео.html
Woot Woot, WARHAMMER 2 TRAILERS BABY! ( Part one ) 1:45 - Your reaction is to that of the Witch Elves, they are dark elves just that they serve Khaine ( also known as Khaine's brides ) and he is the Elves god of war and bloodshed. In this first trailer you see high elves and dark elves first then lizardmen and then skaven at the end. They are also in Lustria and that storm in the background is The Vortex which sucks all the magic out of the world except a little bit and spits out elsewhere. The portal was created by High Elves and supported by the Slann ( the fat toads ) in basically getting rid of magic in the WHF setting. When the world is consumed with magic daemons appear and start to rekt everyone's shit again Also Dark Elves and Dark Eldar are very similar and both are very evil. Imo Chaos isn't evil, as I said before just nature. Dark Elves and Dark Eldar, evil. Very evil. The person turning the table that is a lizardmen structure and Teclis ( the elf mage ) was using it to see the past. Teclis is a very strong high elf mage, one of the best in the series. The person he saw and that you guys said "dang to" was Caledor Dragontamer who is more powerful than Tecliis and arguably the most powerful High Elf mage. The mages around him helped form the vortex but they've long been dead. He however is still very much "alive" and is sitting in the portal just maintaining it all while watching world events unfold. "Jabba the hutt" character is Mazdamundi and like I said hes a fat toad, but hes stronger than both Teclis and Malekith ( the dark elf leader with the big hat and so on ) along with being stronger than Caledor as well. He can literally move continents with the flick of his wrist, make mountains sentient, etc. There's really not much he can do, but he also relies on his troops to guard him cause like all mages hes not very good in melee for well....obvious reasons xd "Demon rat" = Skaven :D 4:04 - Lizardmen dont like when people fuck with their shit considering they were technically the first "race" on the planet and out date even elves, humans, and dawi. They have decent relations with most, but at an arms reach, for anyone who gets close to their Temple Cities they don't take kindly towards even "allied" races and so on 5:27 - Kroq-Gar, grand military leader for Maz since his temple city was destroyed back during the first war against the forces of Chaos. Him and Grimloq ( his dino ) have been killing for like 10k years and that high elf captain just got munched on :P 6:08 - Malekith and his mother Morathi (Considered a MILF by WH fans). Her statement about being burned was that Malekith got burned while stepping into the magical flames of the High Elves in order to become Phoenix king. Keep in mind the Elf gods judge those who step into the flames and those who are deemed not worthy usually die as the flames dont just burn you, but burn your soul. Malekith well.... wasn't so lucky. However its not necessary his fault as the story goes. He traveled the world like a cool guy and fought along side his best friend ( snorri aka white beard ) and they together killed a bunch of shit and so on. After doing this for tons of years he decided to finally come home cause he was kind of done with that and wanted to rule his province and so on. Well a vote IIRC happened and people wanted Malekith to become PK, but he turned it down. After that though another high elf stepped up and took his place as PK. ( Bel Shanaar ) Malekith was cool with it as he considered Bel to be a good leader and so on. However Morathi wasn't happy and soon began whispering stuff into Malekith ears and so on. Malekith then got a some huge ego boost and decided he should be PK and in doing so planned a coup against Bel. He ended up poisoning Bel and claimed himself as PK, well as soon as he stepped into the flames he got extra crispy and was basically put on life support until he got his new armor and became the Dark Elf version of Darth Vader. However the Elven civil war began and both sides fought a brutal war. The Elves that sided with Malekith lost and were banished/fled from their donut island landing in a cold snowy place called Naggaroth to where they plot against the high elves at every step of the way and have waged a few more civil wars with again Malekith and his forces almost winning. Anyway long story short Morathi corrupted her son to try and take the thrown so she could do what she wanted ( she worshipped slaanesh ) and believed her son would also be a better PK for her own agenda as well. Ik its confusing there's a lot stuff I'm cutting out plus I dont remember a ton as it was confusing the lore and the End Times didn't exactly help either, but thats the basic gist of it. As for pet hydra yeah it was just a random unit. He has a dragon called Seraphon and it was with him for a very long time. Thousands of years and was killed by Grimgor in his duel against Malekith. His mask and face are one in the same due to the fact he was burned horribly and can't honestly live without his armor 8:15 - Remember that "demon rat?" Thats them, them damn skaven! xd. Queek was the guy that made u guys have ur eyeballs stick out of. ( red armor evil laughter ) the other is Clan pest lead by Skrolk and these are two different people as well. Queek is an insane rat he won Karak Eight Peaks, he kills Belegar ( that dawi lord u saw all the way back in the first WH trailers ) and he defeated Skarnisk. However he got his neck snapped by Thorgrim ( the guy writing in the book of grudges ) and Skrolk was killed by Kroq-gar. Both are Skaven both are fairly good mofos, and ofc Skaven are well... rats! They're rats in cages despite of their rage! They hate everyone and want to rule the world, but have a huge beef against Lizardmen, Dawi, and greenskins. The big monster u saw is called a hellpit abomination. Clan Moulder makes them and sells them to other clans so yeah ( you will see these guys later on with these trailers and ill point them out ). The other thing you saw is called a doomwheel ( hamsterwheel in ur words xd ). They also have warp fire throwers ( that green stuff being shot out that u guys saw which is a flame thrower basically ) and various other stuff, but yeah they have a huge fued against Lizardmen, dawi, and gobos. 10:26 - This was all about having WH1 and WH2 be combined and is called Mortal Empires. When the games first came out especially WH2, we couldn't play nor really fight anyone from the old world ( dawi, greenskins, wood elves, vamp counts, etc. ) and vice versa, but with the release of ME we could finally play both sides, both "worlds" and fight amongst even more factions with our favorite ones. Its basically what everyone was waiting for. 12:30 - Tomb Kings, basically undead egyptians on crack with magical powers. Some of the most powerful people came from them, but the biggest one is Big Daddy Nagash. Unlike Vampire Counts, they somewhat retain their memories and can operate various weaponry. However, the higher they are on the Totem Pole ( Tomb Lords ) etc the more they remember and are fully function sentient beings. The lower ( skeleton spearmen ) the less they remember anything other than fighting. They also have constructs instead of monsters which range from monsterous infantry to monsters themselves. When they die or lose stuff they just have their souls go back down to the underworld and their necro bois just raise them up again and throw them into a new suit. ( Theyre kinda a cross between Vampire Counts and Necrons ). The person talking to is Settra and he doesn't serve! He also killed that big guy with the hammer Kholek Suneater in a 1 vs 1 duel in a forest that lasted 3 days and the two of them flattened the entire forest area.
18:07 - Everqueen and Hellebron - Hellebron wages once a year death night which is basically the purge but with no safety nets and they're not exactly purging any one class. She uses the night to gain youth again by bathing in the blood of everyone that dies and so on. Shes kinda a rival I guess towards the Everqueen, but her actual true rival is Morathi since she doesnt have to have others die so she can gain enteral youth and found a magical way to do so, but regardless thats kind of the thing going on. Everqueen is a title, but the person you see is Alarielle as shes the current Everqueen, her goal to stop chaos invading and infecting her lands all while defending and rallying her people against the Dark Elves to, but due to her position of power shes not exactly on the battlefield all that much. She's a highly skilled mage as well capable of banishing IIRC Greater Daemons of Chaos and so on. Sword of Khaine has only been used by a few people as it damns ur entire blood line and corrupts you as well, yet gives you great power I mean fucking great power like turn dragons to paste with a single punch kind of power. They're trying to make it sound like Khaine is a Chaos God, or like that of Khorne, but hes just the Elf God of Murder and War. In fact Khorne and Slaanesh have both whooped Khaine's ass already and would and could do so many times over. Regardless hes not corrupt like the chaos gods though, but CA went this route to well boost the mindset of how evil Dark Elves are I guess which is fine because they are imo the most evil race. 20:55 - Vampire Coast :D One of my all time favorites ( Greenskins, beastmen, and lizardmen are my favorite factions ) but Vamp Coast is right below them. First things first hes not talking to that imperial soldier or some random person. He's talking himself and you, as his personalities were split into IIRC 12 separate personalities. Think of the movie split and that's him but with powers and is a vampire. This all happened after he tried to steal a lizardmen artifact in one of the ruined Lizardmen temple cities. He'd tell his minions to go get the artifact after fighting off what the lizardmen had to offer several times along with lustria's own stuff. However every time his "men" would go down there. They' simply die and not exist anymore due to the magical power being sapped away from them and pulled from Luthor's control. Luthor had, had enough of this bull shit tried to do it himself and in turn somewhat accomplished this, but in turn went insane. In CA's version same shit happened basically, but now hes trying to put the treasure back together in hopes of restoring his mind ( Old lore he never did really and we see this due to again the End Times showing us that he went ape shit here and there during important battles and not because he was losing, just cause he was crazy ) However, Vamp coast is basically undead pirate zombies with vampire pirates as their leaders. Additionally to your comment "what the hell is that." That is a big ass Merwyrm. They vary in size, but there's only three that large and the one Luthor is going after along with the other vampire coast leaders is called Amanar guardian for the high elves basically. If the admirals can control it they basically control the seas especially in their area since the thing is fucking huge, that fin was like 5% of its body. Hope this helps explain everything, as always if you guys always want more info I can help. However other youtubers like ItalianSpartus, Milkandcookies, Lore of Sotek area all pretty good informative people as well and great for people who are trying to get a little bit of lore knowledge as well and they might remember more stuff over certain races than I do as its a lot of info to try and remember and so on lol. All in all good up the good work and I can't wait to see more warhammer! "Thanks to everyone that is helping us find the missing Total War Warhammer 2 trailers we haven't seen. " List is down below of trailers you've both havent reacted to yet :D ruclips.net/video/Yi2eHPKjW9k/видео.html ruclips.net/video/FnKhFaijBBI/видео.html ruclips.net/video/0sPbjHEnSDE/видео.html ruclips.net/video/VbNHE0OrCDA/видео.html ruclips.net/video/HvmDxl4YTW0/видео.html ruclips.net/video/tdu8PEeNxy0/видео.html This is all of them. Theyre not in order, but it is all the trailers so far that you guys missed. However they aren't long either all around 1-2 mins, so not a whole lot of extra time. "Is there a video out there that has all the Total War Warhammer 3 trailers?"
Considering what happened to Luthors mind getting shattered into a hundred pieces, we definitely agree that Lizardmen don’t like you fucking with their shit 😨
Everyone else has already pointed out the ones you've missed, I hope you get to looking at those and putting them up soon - they just get better and better with time. Also, for the rat people trailer, making them hard to see was 100% intentional. They're called skaven, and many people in the Warhammer world aren't aware they exist, or don't believe they exist when they're told that they do. There are SEVERAL reasons for this, but it mainly boils down to the rat people being very happy with letting the majority of the surface world be ignorant of their presence, and taking several precautions to ensure that remains the case. There was even an event only a few dozen years ago in which one of the most important Imperial towns was besieged and almost taken by the skaven, and now almost everyone believes that it wasn't technologically-advanced rat-people, but instead primitive beastmen.
I recommend a few "noob's guide to (insert warhammer general)" he has a funny way of explaining who each of the generals are, and it gives you a bit more info on the world
you could watch the rest od the dlc trailers too, they rly grow in quality. For example the prohpet and warlock makes a hommage to predator in its trailer. They become more and more cinematic
You guys seems to like undead faction. Vampire Counts in warhammer 1 and now you chose Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast. Unfortunately there is no playable undead in warhammer 3 (yet) 23:25 that huge thing is a giant merwyrm (sea dragon) its name is Amanar. In game he is main goal in Vampire Coast campaign, they want to kill him and then resurrect as their puppet.
You should really check out some Warhammer: Vermintide stuff. Its in the same universe but instead of massive battles, it focuses on a group of 3 humans, a dwarf and an elf as they go through different places and mess up the baddies.
Mortal empires was combining both TWWH 1 and 2 into one game. If you had both games you could get flc Mortal Empires to play campaing conbining whole map of TWWH1 and Majority of TWWH 2 on one map. Also all Dlc of both games were playable there. Which means there is about 15 playable races and all those makes 67 factions in total. Now when TWWH 3 is at the gates, it is also final count. However Mortal Empires or something similar is expected for TWWH 3 as well. Probably toping at least 100 factions.
The Tomb Kings are beyond glorious. You guys should watch the actual gameplay battle against the Elves. It's just so EPIC and cinematic... And you'll get to see why the Tomb Kings are so awesome
Welcome to the new rabbit hole...the Warhammer fantasy setting is just as deep and detailed as the 40K setting...great reaction!...also of note...many things in pop culture get incorporated into 40K and Warhammer fantasy...but conversely many concepts you will see in pop culture have come from 40k and Warhammer fantasy...many things in World of Warcraft came directly from Warhammer fantasy...green orcs and all.
Some of my favourite factions are the lizardmen, skaven (rat men) and greenskins. But I'm trying to work my way through all the factions before the next game comes out which is a daunting task
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames something like that. There's a bunch of different races but then each of them has at least 3 or 4 sub-factions each led by a unique and distinct legendary character. As a result even within the same race there are multiple play styles. Hitting them all will take a while 😂
Shame ya couldn’t see the rest yet. I like all these in there own right but the best ones are the ones ya didn’t see. But glad you are seeing these. Hope to see ya see them some day. Also I love the tomb kings, first campaign in the game I actually beat. Settra the imperishable is the dude with the flaming chariot in that trailer and he’s just pure awesome that’s all I can say without listing literally all his titles.
You can play as tomb kings and the vampire pirates but those four were just the starting ones until the others got added later on. Tomb kings are pretty much the fantasy side of Warhammer of the necrons and you pretty much got the reason the vampire coast mainly luthor harkon is looking for treasure. Tldr he has quite the pride and very greedy to he went to an ancient lizardmen temple to look for anything that could make him stronger and long story short he ended up blasting his mind apart and now he has multiple personalities in him which is why he was talking about being put back together. There are other vampire coast lords that you can play as which don't really care if luthor gets his mind back or not but they all are after the same thing which is control of the giant sea beast that was shown at the end of the vampire coast trailer. Cant wait for you to see the rest of the trailers but those will probably come after Warhammer 3.
Aww, hell yeah! TWW games have some really cool trailers, and as people are already mentioning - the third game trailers are a step up from these as well! Actually, this compilation was a bit odd, with some unit previews and concept art. Just wanted to mention that the guy with the hydra - Malekith (the woman with the huge hairstyle is his mom, Morathi) - he's basically burnt all over, from a ritual that determines the rightful king for the High Elves (the people who he was killing), hence the golden mask on his face. As for the "making themselves whole", it's just the guy with the eyepatch, Luthor Harkon. The short flashback with the lightning was his mind getting shattered by a Lizardmen artifact, so he now has multiple personalities (which is reflected in the game as well), and he believes that putting together a similar artifact can restore his mind to normal again. And yeah, Tomb Kings and Vampirates are hella cool, they did overshadow the original 4 factions a bit, when they came out. Not gonna lie - these two are among my favourites as well, along with the Dwarfs and the Lizardmen. As for the missed trailers - oh boy. I'm gonna list just the main DLC ones, that weren't here, as I'm not quite sure about the other ones: The Prophet and the Warlock; The Hunter and the Beast; The Shadow and the Blade; The Warden and the Paunch; The Twisted and the Twilight; The Silence and the Fury.
Luthor Harkon had his personality split in multiple fragments through a lizardmen curse. Untill he got all the pieces of the treasure he stole that day(same idea of the Pirates of the Caribean movie) he doesn't know what his personality will be the next moment of the day. An utter lunatic that will want to kill you and then try to apoligize the next moment for inconviniencing you. That is why he is trying to find the treasure. Find it and put it back and hopefully be fully himself. Vampire Coast pirates are an utter meme army.
Thanks to everyone that is helping us find the missing Total War Warhammer 2 trailers we haven't seen. Is there a video out there that has all the Total War Warhammer 3 trailers?

You still gotta react to the rest of the trailers for Total War Warhammer 2!
Their quality grows exponentially.
They're called:
The Prophet & the Warlock
The Hunter & the Beast
The Shadow & the Blade
The Warden & the Paunch
The Twisted & the Twilight
The Silence & the Fury
And there's also a High Elves trailer but it's in a format of 360°
You've forgot about a masterpiece: Laboratory Mod trailer
Yeah there is definitely so much more to look at
They don't need to react to everything. Those dlc trailers are pretty good though. I'm more excited to see their reactions to the WH3 videos though as CA really stepped up their game with those trailers.
oh i really love the prophet + warlock trailer and the warden + the paunch
The Prophet and the Warlock, the Twisted and the Twilight and the Warden and the Paunch trailers just have to be looked at, they're amazing. Imo the others are kind of mediocre but those 3 are fantastic
the full armored guy u were wondering about at 7:52, that is a mask. the extremely abbreviated notes for his lore was he got full body burns and was sealed inside the armor to keep himself alive, AKA the Darth Vader of Warhammer fantasy. also i mainly play dark elves and tomb kings
Literally welded to his face as I recall

The rats are called "Skaven", they're incredibly fun to play. One od my favorite voicelines is when you have a commander set sail on the ocean and they say, " Hahaha big puddle!" They're basically like mad scientists mixed with methheads who throw endless numbers at there enemies. It's great
That’s quite an interesting mix! We can see why they seem to be a fan favorite 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames They're much more comparable to the Nazis, with some dark steampunk and voodoo thrown in. Everyone hates them, even the forces of Chaos. Never trust a Skaven.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames And you only have to buy the DLC once.
For example if you already have the Beastmen DLC for TWW 1 you'll be able to play with the Beastmen in TWW 2 and 3 without having to pay for them again.
A little history on Luthor Harkon (the vampire pirate, for context):
First we see him is in old Nehekara (Egypt), serving as a guardsman under Queen Neferata, the first vampire.
Glad it was some kind of curse instead of just greed. Makes it more interesting 😀
tomb kings are a personal fav of mine as well, love their aesthetic.
Note to self: don’t mess with ancient Lizardmen treasure ✅
That’s a nice little touch 😊
Took some time, but it was worth the wait. I just hope immortal empires doesn't take too long. Those changes to siege and minor settlement battles alone will take a lot of time to add into old maps.

Thanks for all that extra bit of information 😀
also about the crocodile dude there are multiple versions of them
They are called ushabti and they are part of the construct tree
they fall apart over time and are my favorite faction

Hell Pit Abomination is a very on the nose name for that thing 😯 and thanks for going into more detail on the blood of the blood trailer 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames You're very welcome, glad you found it useful!

Thanks for telling us more about Alarielle 🤩

Another great review guys!
As a big fan of both the Tomb Kings and ancient mythology, I thought you might find this interesting:
There is an Egyptian god who had a crocodile's head.
Love some Egyptian knowledge being dropped here 😊🤗

28:30 The Vampire Coast Guy, Luthor Harkon he is cursed by "lizard trinkets", he lost his magic powers and got his personality shatered to a hundread pieces (He even says "I was one, now we are many" and "put ourselfes back togather"). He is looking for them to undo it
That’s way more than 7. Voldemort is a wimp compared to Luthor 😎🤟😈
Yess!! i've been waiting so long for this!! a priceless reaction thank you so much guys!!😁😍

Haha, well you can feel free to gush about the high elves as much as you want to us. We won’t tell you to stop 😉🤗

I see some comments here answering your questions, I'll quickly summarize some of them:
The last trailer you saw is for the base game of Warhammer 2 which only launched with 4 factions.
Thanks so much for answering our questions and providing more info on each faction! So much to take in, but very cool to learn about 😀
The Vampire Pirate featured in the campaign is called Luthor Harkon, and he got his mind split into many parts when he tried to loot a Lizardmen temple.
Legendary Lords is a cool title for the characters 😁
Biological dinosaur man robots?! You just made Lizardmen much cooler in our books 😀 Not that they weren’t cool before 🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Hehe, glad I could make a tyrannosaurus aztec cooler somehow!
24:40 is indeed just the original base version of TW Warhammer 2, Tomb kings, Vampire coast and Skaven (rat-people) were added later on
10:05 the Mortal Empires merged TW Warhammer 2 and 1. Both are set on different continents and had different playable races, after this you could play as a race from 1st, travel across the world and ocean to the land of 2nd and fight against new races and vice versa
😎👍🙂
Just a side note, it is hard to include the High Elves trailer because it is in 3D.
My favorite factions here are, vampire coast and Skaven.
The lore for this game is that a ritual to influence the vortex (the spring vortex in the sky) has been discovered. All factions are now attempting to influence the vortex and change how magic works for ever.
The vortex itself is like a siphon that pulls chaos out of the world. Since magic works using chaos, influencing the vortex is like influencing magic itself. The equivalent of finding a way to manipulate gravity on Earth.
They made a 3D trailer 😯
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames
Sorry, it is a 360 trailer.
Thanks for listing trailers we missed and riding a sphinx into battle would definitely be amazing 🤩
FINALLY ! I was waiting for that ! GOOD JOB TO YOU COUPLE ! :p
Thanks! 🥳🥳😀
the dude in the full dark armor is a dark elf named Malekith, hes the son of an elf hero...... somewhere in his story he got burned badly and the armor keeps him alive so long as he never removes it, dude is bad ass though
Same name as the dark elf in Thor Dark World 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames haha yeah but this dudes father was the hero of the reg elfs Malekith did some bad stuff to fall from grace and his mother was the one i think who got him the armor and he and his mother pretty much run the dark elf empire
Can't wait for the DLC trailers to be watched too.
Their titles are:
"The Shadow and the Blade Trailer"
"The Hunter and the Beast Trailer"
"The Prophet & the Warlock Trailer"
"Official The Twisted & The Twilight Trailer"
"The Silence & the Fury Official Trailer"
Thanks! 😀
yeees this is the good stuff, love to see it. objectively the best warhammer game out there. Third one coming soon too! love ur content
😎🤟🥰
The remaining trailers that you guys didn't cover for Warhammer II are pretty hype. Would recommend.
We will be checking them out 😎🤟
That last trailer was from when the game first came out - they released several of the races separately later, such as the Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast - they're all playable, although some of them were only playable in the Mortal Empires campaign, rather than the story campaign.
😎👍🙂
Cannot WAIT until you look at the Total War Warhammer 3 trailers, the game is going to release in February so there aren't many trailers yet, but I can't wait to see what you think of the Ogres
We look forward to checking them out 😀😁🥳
"What is the Great Purpose?".
Ah the eternal question.
I got unreasonably excited when I saw this video had been uploaded. The Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast I was most excited for haha
Looking forward to seeing more!
Nothing unreasonable at all 😁🤗😎🤟🥳🥳🥳🥳
I love how this dude cycles between silent focus and losing his damn mind. I feel it man
😂😜 kindred spirit
Been waiting for this one.
😎🤟🥳
If there are red-eyed rats, you can bet on one thing; there is an army of Skaven somewhere under your feet... and when the vermintide comes out where you can see it, it's usually too late...
😳
Damn! Take that Luke Skywalker, moving a whole damn continent 😯🤯
Great video guys
Thanks! 😀
Thanks for explaining Luthor more to us 😀
Really looking forward to more Warhammer Reactions.^^
More will be coming 😁
I have been waiting for this

Hey guys i want to let you know that i wont be at livestream friday. you might see this before or after but this is because my bed time is before 9 or 9:30 so i wont see you today but if i can i will be there sunday.
All good! Get some sleep and hopefully we see you on Sunday 😀🥳🤗
I've been waiting for this, and i love it 😍😍
😎🤟🥳😊
Sisters of Twilight is a great name and we need to see that faction now 😀 looking forward to checking out rest of dlc trailers 🥳
Yes, we are waiting for a full reaction to all Total War Warhammer 2 vids. I hope this will not be difficult for you. I love you and hug you tenderly. I swear by the beard you are a nice couple
We will have more Total War Warhammer 2 trailers coming 🥳🥳🤗
You may call that lizard Jabba but he can move mountains with his mind 🤣🤣

😊🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames now i'll excitedly wait every second until you watch 3! ;P
edit: if by chance you see this comment again, there are a few dlc trailers missing in this.
Thanks for the channel rec for lore for this 🙂
The Skaven the giant rats on the tabletop you can destroy your own rats as you try ito beat the other army. There was a rule in the older version called Life is cheap. You play cowardly. The giant wheel that the rats had was called the doom wheel.
The Doom Wheel 😁😈 Great name 😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames the giant bell in the video was called the screaming bell, the giant rat monster was called hell abomination, then there are giant rat, ogre rats, some of there innovations will blow up or go haywire, oh in the 8th edition there was the plague furnace, plague catapult.
You should watch some of Engagingbears fan-made cinematic videos of Total War, "Grudgebearer" is definitely my favourite :) dreadfleet is pretty cool to.
Thanks for the channel rec for some more Total War Warhammer vids 🙂
I started Warhammer Total War 2, like 3 Weeks ago.
I instantly fell in Love with the Skaven (Ratmen) to be more Specific Clan Skryer, i mean c'mon Rats with Gatling guns and Nukes in a Fantasy Game, the're awesome.
Haha, hard to argue against that 🤗
The last trailer was for the original base Warhammer 2 factions/ starting factions. if you own the first Warhammer total war game and it's doc's you can play all those factions in Warhammer 2 Mortal Empires map. the other trailers like tomb kings and Curse of the Vampire Coast are expansion Factions or DLC's is what they call it.
now in Warhammer 3 if you own both of the previous games and DLC's you can play all the factions in the New Immortal empires map and it's awesome
Yes finally good to see ya getting around to it XD

"What's the Great Purpose?"
The Great Purpose - or to use it's Normal name "The Great Plan" is the goal that the Old Ones set for the planet.
At least one of those was a real piece of work)
They also, when they noticed the coming of chaos, created the Ogres and Halflings, but they were unfinished, hence their enormous appetite etc.
Long Story Short
The Great Plan is the original Plan that the Old Ones had for the Planet.
You should look at the campaign cinematics. They're awesome!
We may end up checking those out as well 😀
The monster's name in the final of Vampire Coast's trailer is Merwirm.

Woot Woot, WARHAMMER 2 TRAILERS BABY! ( Part one )
1:45 - Your reaction is to that of the Witch Elves, they are dark elves just that they serve Khaine ( also known as Khaine's brides ) and he is the Elves god of war and bloodshed. When the world is consumed with magic daemons appear and start to rekt everyone's shit again
Also Dark Elves and Dark Eldar are very similar and both are very evil.
There's really not much he can do, but he also relies on his troops to guard him cause like all mages hes not very good in melee for well....obvious reasons xd
"Demon rat" = Skaven :D
4:04 - Lizardmen dont like when people fuck with their shit considering they were technically the first "race" on the planet and out date even elves, humans, and dawi. They have decent relations with most, but at an arms reach, for anyone who gets close to their Temple Cities they don't take kindly towards even "allied" races and so on
5:27 - Kroq-Gar, grand military leader for Maz since his temple city was destroyed back during the first war against the forces of Chaos. Him and Grimloq ( his dino ) have been killing for like 10k years and that high elf captain just got munched on :P
6:08 - Malekith and his mother Morathi (Considered a MILF by WH fans). His mask and face are one in the same due to the fact he was burned horribly and can't honestly live without his armor
8:15 - Remember that "demon rat?" Thats them, them damn skaven!
In CA's version same shit happened basically, but now hes trying to put the treasure back together in hopes of restoring his mind ( Old lore he never did really and we see this due to again the End Times showing us that he went ape shit here and there during important battles and not because he was losing, just cause he was crazy )
However, Vamp coast is basically undead pirate zombies with vampire pirates as their leaders.
" List is down below of trailers you've both havent reacted to yet :D

ruclips.net/video/FnKhFaijBBI/видео.html
ruclips.net/video/0sPbjHEnSDE/видео.html

ruclips.net/video/tdu8PEeNxy0/видео.html
This is all of them.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames No they don't and that is why they're amazing aside from playing as Jurassic Phucking Park! :P
We wouldn’t want to believe in rat people either so can understand that 🙂
I recommend a few "noob's guide to (insert warhammer general)" he has a funny way of explaining who each of the generals are, and it gives you a bit more info on the world
Will add recs to our request list 🥳
vampire coast looks soooo epic glad you guys liked them too ^^
They were pretty badass 😁😎🤟😈
you could watch the rest od the dlc trailers too, they rly grow in quality. For example the prohpet and warlock makes a hommage to predator in its trailer. They become more and more cinematic
We plan on checking them out 😀
You guys seems to like undead faction.
Vampire Counts in warhammer 1 and now you chose Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast.
Unfortunately there is no playable undead in warhammer 3 (yet)
23:25 that huge thing is a giant merwyrm (sea dragon) its name is Amanar. In game he is main goal in Vampire Coast campaign, they want to kill him and then resurrect as their puppet.
We don’t normally go for the undead but they just appealed to us for some reason in these trailers we’ve watched 🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames i see
You are on a good way then
Remember life i temporary but undeath is eternal
You should really check out some Warhammer: Vermintide stuff. Its in the same universe but instead of massive battles, it focuses on a group of 3 humans, a dwarf and an elf as they go through different places and mess up the baddies.
We will have to check that out sometime 🤟
Mortal empires was combining both TWWH 1 and 2 into one game. If you had both games you could get flc Mortal Empires to play campaing conbining whole map of TWWH1 and Majority of TWWH 2 on one map. Also all Dlc of both games were playable there. Which means there is about 15 playable races and all those makes 67 factions in total. Now when TWWH 3 is at the gates, it is also final count. However Mortal Empires or something similar is expected for TWWH 3 as well. Probably toping at least 100 factions.
😎👍🙂
saying "you're very full of yourself" about Settra...oh you have NO idea
🤗
The Tomb Kings are beyond glorious. You guys should watch the actual gameplay battle against the Elves. It's just so EPIC and cinematic... And you'll get to see why the Tomb Kings are so awesome
We’d be down for some epic Tomb King battles 😁
Can you make a reaction video for the cinematic trailers of the Total war warhammer 3 game?
We will 😀🥳
Welcome to the new rabbit hole...the Warhammer fantasy setting is just as deep and detailed as the 40K setting...great reaction!...also of note...many things in pop culture get incorporated into 40K and Warhammer fantasy...but conversely many concepts you will see in pop culture have come from 40k and Warhammer fantasy...many things in World of Warcraft came directly from Warhammer fantasy...green orcs and all.
We are down so many rabbit holes now 😂😁🤗
For me that Skaven trailer just hits different; nice horror vibes that really set the tone for the race.
Some of my favourite factions are the lizardmen, skaven (rat men) and greenskins. But I'm trying to work my way through all the factions before the next game comes out which is a daunting task
Yeah there are almost 20 so far right? 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames something like that. There's a bunch of different races but then each of them has at least 3 or 4 sub-factions each led by a unique and distinct legendary character. As a result even within the same race there are multiple play styles. Hitting them all will take a while 😂
"They look like the Dark Eldar"
Well, that's probably because they basically are
😎👍😈
Can't wait for the trailers for the 3rd one about to come out
We heard those are the best 😀
Yes, yes, yes!
Awesome ^^
Tomb Kings are epic. Their backstory, espiecially Settra, is so cool and tragic at the same time.
Cool and tragic is a better mix than happy and boring 😁🙃
Shame ya couldn’t see the rest yet. I like all these in there own right but the best ones are the ones ya didn’t see. But glad you are seeing these. Hope to see ya see them some day.
Also I love the tomb kings, first campaign in the game I actually beat.
Settra the imperishable is the dude with the flaming chariot in that trailer and he’s just pure awesome that’s all I can say without listing literally all his titles.
We plan to see the rest. Just needed help from community which has been great 😀
I'm not sure if you've seen Death of Hope but it's something I'd strongly recommend watching.
We haven’t seen it yet but on our rec list for 40k 😀
😎👍🙂 not sure. We may be able to get to the rest of 2 before 3 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Either way cant wait to see more total war warhammer
I'm gonna list just the main DLC ones, that weren't here, as I'm not quite sure about the other ones:
The Prophet and the Warlock;
The Hunter and the Beast;
The Shadow and the Blade;
The Warden and the Paunch;
The Twisted and the Twilight;
The Silence and the Fury.
The Twisted and the Twilight is a cool ass title 😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames It's Frankenstein rat vs Galadriel and the Twins.
“Utter meme army” 😂
"Totally tubular" sounds like something straight out of old school TMNT
There we go. That’s what it is from. Michelangelo 😎🤟 Knew it popped into my head from somewhere 🤗
