Bonjour, Theo! I am marvelling at your thoughtful, philosophical encouragement, presented as you are walking through the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg. Happy to know that you are feeling better. You are creating something worthwhile, here. Merci mille fois, Theo, et à bientôt!
Several decades ago (so many!) I was returning to the USA after a whole year in Greece with a two-week stop in Paris. I had gotten so used to the casual, informal, friendly Greek culture and landscape that when I visited the Jardin du Luxembourg for the very first time, I was put off by the formality of its design, the tightly structured ambiance. France seemed so cold, even funereal after all the liveliness of Greece! Fortunately, I was later able to spend two months in France, and I finally came to understand the beauty and - I think - the meaning of such a concentration on order and refinement. Vive la France ! 🇺🇸❤🇫🇷
"Action leads to strategy" - I like these nuggets of wisdom from you! They speak to me! And I went to the Jardin du Luxembourg some years ago on a very hot summer's day and thought the place was stunning!
I"m from Texas and a huge Spurs fan. Awesome to see Tony Parker again, of course Luxembourg is my favorite garden in Paris. You missed the tennis courts lol. Great job Theo - so glad youre feeling better!
Jardin du Luxembourg is my favorite. Don't forget to visit la fontaine Médicis (and the ducklings). I also encourage everyone to walk thru the park to the Fontaine des Quatre-Parties-du-Monde (Turtle fountain). Oh, don't forget your ping-pong paddles! Au revoir ... -Daniel (Paris)
Thank you for this video. In August (after the Olympics) we are travelling from our home in the SW of France to meet up with some friends from the UK. I’ve told them to watch this video so they can see what the Jardins du Luxembourg are like. I definitely want to visit as I’ve not been before. Also the cookies looked delicious 😋
We live in a place called Saint Pardoux Isaac in the SW. It’s about 1h 20 from us to Bordeaux 😊. Sorry I may have confused you with my other comment as we’re not going to the SW, we’re leaving from the SW and going to Paris 😁
I was to the «Beauty & Ugliness in Architecture 2024» in Oslo. I learned that the Swiss Style is from Paris! The famous Norwegian Dragon Style was developet from the Swiss Style. Thanks, Paris!
I live in the United States and you might not think so but you can get close to and even visit the US Senate in Washington DC. There are just a lot more armed guards all over. I was at the Jardin de Luxembourg in January and it looks much better with everything green.
Je suis content que vous vous sentez mieux déjá! Bonne santé: Ivan
