seriously, You pass out next to Aria and I always get this vive that she used the flüggåәnkб€čhiœßølįên on you. Shepards gotta be mind-fuck sore after that.
The way the song was introduced was very good. Standing outside you hear the bass. As you progressively came closer into the club the treble gets higher.
whenever i go to the Citadel, even if I really don't have anything to do I always visit this place because of the music. The moment you step outside the elevator you could already hear the Booming sound of Purgatory. If Joker and Shepard dance is lame, check out KAIDAN's dance moves in the Citadel DLC. Hilarious.
Need for Speed Carbon had one of the best soundtracks in gaming history. When I walked into Purgatory not only did I remember Chora's den in ME1 and Afterlife in ME2, but one of the best games ever NFSC as well. I just stood there for 1 hour just remembering all the good times I had with those 3 games. One of the BEST TRACKS ever.
What do you need me to do? Talk to him Lean on him Take him to dinner talk dirty to him Slap his little fucking ass What ever works, call me if you have to. [Close up of Shepard staring at Aria] [Close up of Aria staring at Shepard, moving her head weirdly]
Man, I love this song. I spent so much time just standing in Purgatory so I could listen to it longer. You know, if real-world nightclubs were as awesome as Mass Effect ones, I might consider actually going to one...
Played through this trilogy so many times. Got me through a lot of ups and downs in life. From the (now) clunky feel of the first one and boosting off mountains in the Mako, and shooting sand worms ( thinking that was tough) lol...not knowing in Mass Effect 2 the boss was... huge...and in Mass Effect 3 I would be taking down reapers the size of skyscrapers. Counting all my squad mates at the party and hoping I didn't wake up to Javik the next day. There has never been a game that comes close to this. Andromeda eventually grew on me and I loved the combat system. Played through that a couple of times. The architect...that's all I'm going to say. I have hopes for this new Mass Effect. I hope they do it right. This ending song was just the calming tones one needed after all the emotions at the end of the game. The battles, the goodbyes, the sacrifice and hard decisions. It's time for more Mass Effect. ❤
@timerider4 "Newsline; Reapers weakness was finally discovered, it seems reapers that saw Shepards dance, were shutting down, selfdestructing or simply fleeing as if their worst nightmares had came up alive"
@ahtoshkaa Of course, it is because of the... echo, so to speak, or how the bass works on the walls, to give the music a much more realistic perspective, they gave it depth
Did you just reference one of the best and funniest intro's to one of the dopest beats in the history of human existence? You sir, are a true gentleman.
I actually got to where i looked forward to going to the club to do whatever (turn in war asset quest or meeting a companion) just so i could hear the song. Lol it's catchy.
For any self-respecting night life specialist, the Afterlife club of Omega is largely superior to any pathetic imitation on the Citadel. The snobbish space station is so awfully uptight compared to Omega. Besides, bar fights are much better in the Terminus Systems unofficial capital. :P And the music is better too...
The comic that came with my N7 Collectors Edition is a comic about Aria lol. It's really good I have to admit. Even better when read to this song haha. 8)
God! I was listening to the playlist and the song that played before this was the somewhat dark end-credits theme. Then this one came up and I just thought WTF?
@timerider4 lowpass filter was applyed dynamicaly, so I dont thinks thats the point... Game size is over 10GB, I dont think they would bother about 1 mp3 track of 5-6mb, to make it a little lighter lol
It sounds better in game because ingame it you hear it like you would hear at a club. Almost every song sounds better in a crowded area with a bunch of high powered speakers instead of hearing the song itself on a headset.
I'd like to think this plays when Shepard survives and blows up the Reapers, then takes the entire Normandy to that bar in Rio Jacob mentioned, and treats them all to drinks, then promptly gets smashed and starts dancing on the bar, yelling "EVERYDAY I'M SHEPARDING"
at the end of game when u meet the ghost child and he tells u your choices there is a option to punch him in the face, this music starts playing, and shepards starts dancing. Then the credits start rolling
This still makes for awesome ending celebratory music. Flux music is like lounge club music, Afterlife is like chill trance, and this is like IT'S THE FUCKIN END OF THE WORLD. LET'S DANCE OUR ASSES OFF!
The awkward moment when the music in a video game nightclub is better than most nightclubs.
Waking up on Aria's couch after too many drinks.
seriously, You pass out next to Aria and I always get this vive that she used the flüggåәnkб€čhiœßølįên on you. Shepards gotta be mind-fuck sore after that.
@@albertoj.mollinedo4116 lol she's just lookin out. Can't have Omega if the Galaxy's only hope dies of alcohol poisoning!
When I read you wake up next to Aria after you had too many drinks I totally misinterpreted it.
For some reason this sounds so much better when you're actually THERE. :P
Headrock more bass in the version at purgatory. If you get Audacity you can fix it. I did
*****
I should go
It's the Asari dancers that make it better

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite song at the Citadel.
I'm Garrus Vakarian and this is my

Ive heard of people dancing with their weapons. But ive seen you dance.
You know your addicted to Mass Effect, when at a party, you play this song, and start to do the Shepard shuffle.
Every time. I did it tonight..
The way the song was introduced was very good. Standing outside you hear the bass. As you progressively came closer into the club the treble gets higher.
The Shepard Shuffle!
whenever i go to the Citadel, even if I really don't have anything to do I always visit this place because of the music. The moment you step outside the elevator you could already hear the Booming sound of Purgatory.

"I don't have time for this. I have a galaxy to save"
*Goes clubbin*
ahahah true lol
I prefer Omega's Afterlife. Sorry Purgatory but you don't hold a candle to Afterlife.
a candle 2 omega
What do you need me to do?
Talk to him
Lean on him
Take him to dinner talk dirty to him
Slap his little fucking ass
What ever works, call me if you have to.
[Close up of Shepard staring at Aria]
[Close up of Aria staring at Shepard, moving her head weirdly]
Aria moving her head weirdly was in fact her nodding at how right she was.
"Where's the rest of your ass?"
"You're looking at it!"
Man, I love this song. I spent so much time just standing in Purgatory so I could listen to it longer.
You know, if real-world nightclubs were as awesome as Mass Effect ones, I might consider actually going to one...
"I don't always go clubbing during the apocalypse. But when I do, I prefer Afterlife."
"Shepard, I am assuming direct control of THIS DANCE FLOOR!!!"-Harbinger
@MrSaxWarrior thanks SO much! Dunno why the heck it's on that album...song wasn't even in the game, but thanks again.
Love this music!
Mass Effect club musics was the best. Afterlife, now this. Amazing stuff! Love it!
This is so awesome!!! i love it.
Just too awesome. LOVE IT!!! XD
This is the best song I've ever heard in a game! I'm addicted to it !!!
Sounds retro. I like it! :D
I'll miss this the most
3hs loop of this! we the people need it!
Played through this trilogy so many times. Got me through a lot of ups and downs in life. Good music!
I love it.
You can buy the song on iTunes - search for artist ekstrak. Name of song is Staggered.
"Shepard, everyone knows you can't dance!"
I would just stand around in purgatory and listen to this awesome song :)
You sir are correct.
totally getting this on my ipod
I like it! It's simple, easy to remember.
I need a 10 hour version of this STAT
Intense !
@timerider4 "Newsline; Reapers weakness was finally discovered, it seems reapers that saw Shepards dance, were shutting down, selfdestructing or simply fleeing as if their worst nightmares had came up alive"
It works awesome :D
I loved how for a club most people were just standing up still not dancing....pretty kickin party guys
"Havent broken anything yet, thats a start"
No matter what time I go, this music always plays in the purgatory bar... o_O
Now I have to look this up.
The Most important Decisions of the Fate of the Galaxy were Made in that Bar with this Sound, Respect
The nice thing about dressing up like Commander Shepard for Halloween is that it's the one time my lack of dancing skills is actually an asset.
@TheEricM12 i noticed that too. i think its an inexpensive (visually) way of creating the illusion of movement. pretty cool trick they have going on
I've always liked ME club music, and I still do! Awesome track ;D
"However I saw You dancing [dramatic pause] No comment."
I always think of that one Turian in the white doing the Shepard dance from the 1st Mass Effect when I hear this track.
How cool would it be to actually be in a place like that! drinks from long unpractical glasses, freaky alien chicks and rad ass techno :D
"I do not have any establishment by that name registered on the Citadel" - Avina
@ahtoshkaa Of course, it is because of the... echo, so to speak, or how the bass works on the walls, to give the music a much more realistic perspective, they gave it depth
Waww cool !!
back to your cave please, gonna enjoy the dlc when it comes out. probably will think about you while playing it
Most undepressing song in the game.
And quite a banging tune :)
@ZomgLeon "and that was Commander Sheppard, our best, last and only hope, stay tuned for more information how we beat reapers 1 drink at a time"
Did you just reference one of the best and funniest intro's to one of the dopest beats in the history of human existence?
You sir, are a true gentleman.
finally we saw shepard really good at dancing :D
im downloading this NOW
The amount of times I got shepard to dance with that slag on the dancefloor in the hope he would stack her there and then.
Turned up my headphones, and sat in purgatory. Ended up falling asleep.. Soo much better...
* Garrus walks to a lit part of free floor area and dances on Purgatory* The whole night club stops to look at it* :)
I love the way they dance in the club, Waving their arms around.
I actually got to where i looked forward to going to the club to do whatever (turn in war asset quest or meeting a companion) just so i could hear the song. Lol it's catchy.

The snobbish space station is so awfully uptight compared to Omega. Besides, bar fights are much better in the Terminus Systems unofficial capital. :P And the music is better too...
This fits soo well to a club for Citadel.
Joker: I haven't broken any bones yet! That's a start!
The first thing I thought when I entered Purgatory was "Damn, that's an awesome beat!"
Truth bro.
The comic that came with my N7 Collectors Edition is a comic about Aria lol. It's really good I have to admit. Even better when read to this song haha. 8)
YEEESSSSSSSSSS!
And still now to this day I still do the two step Shepard shuffle to this song😊
They should have had all the characters dancing together to this music during the credits. That would of cheered me up after the ending.
I
@CenturyNitro Aria disapproves.
People know this song was originally from Need for Speed Carbon right?
***** No, Staggered Injection was in Need for Speed Carbon along with Hard Drivers. I have heard it tons of times whilst diving my Eclipse 1999..
***** Thanks for thanking me.
+Vortex LeSamurai no
***** Well now ya know.
+Revenant LeSamurai i reject your reality and substitute my own!
I remember this when I listen that music: "Haven't broken anything yet. That's a start!"
How come music like this isn't played at clubs more! Shit's intense!
God! I was listening to the playlist and the song that played before this was the somewhat dark end-credits theme. Then this one came up and I just thought WTF?
This song is called "Staggered" from Need For Speed: Carbon, and it's by Ekstrak. :)
April 11th.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHEPARD!
On iTunes, it's called "Staggered" on the Need for Speed Carbon OST.
I am commodore Shepard and this is my favourite song on a "Citadel".
"What are you doing?! (lawl) everyone knows you can't dance Shephard"
@timerider4 lowpass filter was applyed dynamicaly, so I dont thinks thats the point... Game size is over 10GB, I dont think they would bother about 1 mp3 track of 5-6mb, to make it a little lighter lol
I need a 10 hour version...
each one is good in its own way
More dance clubs in the next game pls
*and more music like 'lower afterlife', pls
Sadly that Didn't happened
exactly this.
"Haven't broken anything yet! That's a start!"
It sounds better in game because ingame it you hear it like you would hear at a club. Almost every song sounds better in a crowded area with a bunch of high powered speakers instead of hearing the song itself on a headset.
@cyberstal i too also noticed that, but more tangerine dream and daft punk- like feel to this.
Can't wait to get my pre-order through μ torrent !
at the end of game when u meet the ghost child and he tells u your choices there is a option to punch him in the face, this music starts playing, and shepards starts dancing. Then the credits start rolling
"Sometimes I shut down criminals, some days I defuse nukes, somedays I enjoy private vices, you understand me?"
This still makes for awesome ending celebratory music. Flux music is like lounge club music, Afterlife is like chill trance, and this is like IT'S THE FUCKIN END OF THE WORLD. LET'S DANCE OUR ASSES OFF!
*you play through ending*
*Right when it ends, you wake up on the couch with aria looking at you*
@StealthG6On18s Well, so far he hasn't broken a bone, and as he said; It's a good start.
I like how all the clubbers on the other levels move like jello makes it sort of creepy. Purgatory is the best place on the Citadel
