The viola soloist is so good, but she needs her 4th finger get strength to use vibrato. Otherwise Hsuan-Wei did excellent performance. 4th finger vibrato is all violin and viola players' big assignment. The conductor had shown so many not necessary gestures before begin and between 2nd and 3rd movement. He did not have to that kind something over doing of gesture and such a unnecessary big movement of arm. The concertmaster was doing same thing. I don't know why he was seeing the soloist that often. To using his ears ONLY, not turn his head toward soloist. Look at the conductor and listen both in same time in ensemble music. Not turn his face toward soloist. That's absolutely not necessary. That was over doing. Conductor and Concert master were not looked good in public performance.

We are very grateful for your kind suggestion. Hsuan-Wei will keep training all the finger's skill to make it sound better. Thanks.
