I just started reselling as a business but have been thrifting and selling random stuff for a long time. I just followed you today, watched this video and 2 minutes in, ran to my T-shirt drawer to check for single stitch on this old doors shirt that is vintage yes but not a concert shirt. And it has holes and tears. I had no idea I had a mosquitohead (not a concert tee) shirt I’ve worn the crap out of for decades! I was a huge JM / Doors fan girl. I listed it at 3:30 today for $350 and it sold already!!! What valuable info you’re providing! I’m still in shock as it has holes and rips!! But hey THANK YOU for your service! Seriously!
I had an actual doors concert poster that I sold years ago on eBay but I really did not know this tee was a mosquitohead until I looked at it more closely after watching this video. Ty so much!
That is awesome! Congrats!
That $1,500 Stanley Desantis shirt sold for $500...still an awesome price but they took 1/3 of what they were asking. TerraPeak will show the actual sold price on best offer accepted.
Again thank you so much for the info!!! I have learned so much about so many things!!
You're very welcome thank you for watching 👀 🙏 😊
I am new at this, recently following you! I love what you do for all of us Thank you so much!
You are so welcome!
Kat, you are the best. I love that you are professional and also so informative.
Also, you are raising a well behaved kid! All kid act up a bit at one time or another, but he sure is a cooperative little guy for you!
Yes he's a great kid
Hi, native Pennsylvanian here! @7:55 it’s “Du-Cane.” (French, so don’t beat yourself up about it!) Shares a name with one of our Universities and a greater-Pittsburgh-area town.
Thanks for the info!
We found about 30 of my brother in laws shirts from when he lived here years ago upstairs in the closet. He didn’t want them so I ended selling 17 of them on EBay for 950 last month to one person. We probably could have got more-but the convenience of not listing each individual shirt was too appealing.
Yeah I think a lot of people do lots due to that fact
Kat thank you so much for the time you take putting together these informative videos. I listed some of my daughters Lisa Frank items after watching your videos and made a nice little profit! I will definitely be checking out the T-shirts at the upcoming rummage sales!
Wonderful! Happy to hear!
😊 love your videos, always so full of high quality information
Happy to hear 😊
I love watching you! I am new to eBay, 5 months. I bought a John Deere throw while thrifting today based on your video on throw blankets, and listed it today
I listed one today too!
Good luck to us😊
Howdy miss kat👋🌈🌞 wanted to tell you about the ozone machine. Sixty dollar game changer. kills mold , mildew spores, bed bugs and removes all smells. The stains are a labor of love. Still no cure for dryrot.
Thank you for training my eyes to see value from a distance!
You're welcome 😊
I always come away with more things to look for. I seen a art shirt at goodwill and google lensed it and it said 190.00. Turned out it was double stitched not single stitched but sold in one day for 75. So sometimes the younger ones are worth a little too.
Hey Kat, loved this video. So cool. I really am surprised by the amounts paid for these shirts! Omg! Yes, I hope you one day, do find a 3D and make a lot...lol...it would be well deserved. Thanks for sharing. Always interesting. 😉👍❤
I hope so too! Thank you
They were everywhere and thrashed! 1990’s!
Lol yes I myself had tons
LOL dear Kat/Nurse Flipper..what a different a decade or two make on some music knowledge for some bands for me but I know or have heard of more than I think I have often....thanks for so many educationals..
You are very welcome

Oooh.. I live in small town TN in the Appalachian Mountains… and yard sale time is upon us.. finding that here for .50 - $1.00 wouldnt be surprising.. I wonder how many of those I’ve passed over now.. thank you for this!
You're welcome :-)
Great video. My son who grew up in 90's has kept all his rock concert shirts, posters, tickets & such. He had his own band as a teen & didn't miss a concert & has 3 totes full of most popular rock bands. So thanks for the video, they're always great & informative 🤩
Very cool!
Thanks for another very informative video. I learned some great things to look for in vintage teeshirts.
You are so welcome!
I used to work in a Harley Davidson store. The t shirts arent cheap by far. I did aquire several. They are hard to part with...I know those 3D shirts are getting some high priced buyers but there is probably a fair market for my 30 something year old t shirts too. Maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks. 😉👍❤
Oh yeah for sure we do great selling other vintage harley tees, just none seem to go as high, though they sell good!
Thanks.
You're welcome
Omg I think passed up on the Harley shirts 😢 dang so if was printed in fort worth that means they made them here where I live that's crazy keeping my eyes open
Oh no! I hope you find some more
Hi Kat. Great video! I learn so much from you. Just a heads up that Mapplethorpe tshirt might need some blurring 😂. Im not a prude , but other people might complain. Mapplethorpe was known for his pornographic photographs.
Nice Imfo! Picking for fun and Cheap person! Weird why Grunge bands etc.In my 60s use to collect for personal use my Favorites Hard Rock. Zepp. Van Halen, WHO, etc. Collecting wrong but think listening preference on point!
Interesting!
I sold an 1983 Aerosmith tshirt for 150, i bought it myself at the concert
I don't know if I could've sold it if I got it at the concert lol
Omg these prices are crazy! I’ll be looking this summer at clothes more closely at yard sales.
Yeah definitely
Awesome Awesome!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you for the great video! Normally I look at coats and jeans primarily, I guess I’ll add in tees!
Yes for sure!
Awesome! Hope to find one someday 🤞🏼🌺💫
I hope you do too!
A few months ago I gave my nephew a Grateful Dead T-shirt that I had bought at a concert about 30 years ago but never wore. I think a girlfriend stole it from him. He loves the GD so I would have given it to him in either case but now I wonder had I sold it what that shirt would brought me.
That Harley 3D Emblem that sold for over 5K was in my hometown Greenville SC! Who knew???
Oh that's crazy. I see stuff close to home on these and I'm like why didn't I find that
@@TheNurseFlipper I feel the same way!!
Awesome video
Thanks ! I appreciate you watching
Aweeeeeesome video thanks 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Imagine the people who held a yard sale and just tossed out a T-shirt like this, thinking it had no value, I would like to see their faces watching this one.
Lol yes
Literally me.
I can understand paying a couple hundred bucks for a vintage tee from a concert. But one of my jobs is to date & value vintage threads and every time I see an old concert tee from the 90’s selling over $250 the words “money laundering” reverberate in my brain 😜
I bet my local thrift store put quite a few of these in the garbage because they were worn out, and they thought they were worthless !
Yes I can see that happening for sure
Omg wow 😮 ❤thank you so much for sharing, I would have never thought. Love your videos ❤😊
You're welcome!
I have a bunch of 70s - 80s Tom Petty shirts. You will have to wait for my estate sale. Waiting for Springsteen to pass on so I can sell his memorabilia.
Tom Petty is from my neck of the woods :D
They’re so rare because most people would probably throw them out rather than donating to a thrift - due to condition. 😂
Yes very true lol
I went and got my Harley tees but no go on mine but I am going to wash and list them today just another pile that needs to be gone. They were free so maybe will make some profit.
Even if not 3D they do sell well :D Ours typically go for $20-$30 for regular ones
Thanks Kat
You're welcome
Who wld have ever thought these crappy shirts from the 80s and 90s we have all seen at every yardsale and thrift store wld b worth so much
It's crazy
👽👽👽I went t shirt crazy over the last 9 years and have over 500 great graphic ones...Harley, Sturgiss, Aliens (my fave), vintage Kermit, rock bands, teams and an Iverson jersey, designer names, just about anything bright. I have Given away so many band ones to family/friends. My daughter scored a 70's Rolling Stones baseball T last year...she needs to sell. I shared this video with her. I'm good at finding but I need help to sell 😒
I have lots of videos on how to sell on my tips and tricks playlist
I actually found a Harley Davidson 3D Emblem shirt it has no tag and holes in both armpits I haven't listed it yet still have to measure it lol
Do it!!
If I would have known then what I know now….. I would have saved them all
Yes!
Me toooooo 😂
I found a vintage KISS t-shirt at a thrift store for $3 and it sold for $50 on eBay in about 30 minutes.
That's awesome!
What exactly is single stitch. Thanks so much, Kat.
I show it up close in the first photos
Why is single stitch a thing?
@@KelleyNault it is one way to identify vintage shirts
I wonder if people who pay THOUSANDS for a t-shirt - think they actually WEAR them? Once I was walking into a garage sale and swear, lady behind me PUSHED me out of her way when she spotted some concert t-shirts. What the hell, lady? There was nearly a knock-down-drag-out.
I do not know lol I can't afford it myself lol
Wish I picked up more of those shirts when I was at those concerts but I was poor and my money went to the tickets 😢
Yeah if we only knew what we know now
Great information...very interesting! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed!
Great vid! Does anyone know the value of the final show tshirt of Harry Styles (from reggio emilia)?😅
I have MTV red sweatshirt 1984.....
Gawd. Wasn't 96 just a few years ago? 😂😂😂😂😂
Lol lol it feels like it
Is there a way to see the offer they accepted on the best offer accepted?
I believe you can look on terapeak on ebay
kat. I have an issue I need help with when you had the problem with mercari awhile back did you get your money I have been trying to talk to them for almost 18 months I had a large sale over two hundred and I never saw my money from the sale also how do you get them to answer you or is it all just canned answers
I filed with better business bureau immediately that's what got my money back. I am selling on there again and have been a while. I would say at 18 months it would be difficult to prove over a year but you could try better business
Hi Kat! Do you pick up all single stitch or do you only look for cool graphics? I saw a single stitch once but it wasn’t super interesting so I left it😆
I mainly only get interesting graphics, but I will tell you I've seen plain tees good brands sell decent as well!
@@TheNurseFlipper Thank you! That’s good to know. Thanks for sharing so much knowledge with us😊
@@Angelica71771 you're welcome 😊
I'm an 80s metalhead. Still have my tees and ticket stubs, not quite ready to part with them.
Yeah if I still had mine I'm not sure if I could get rid of them either LOL
I found a new tshirt at Job Lots and on the bottom of graphic it had a date of 1992 I thought I found a vintage t , if I understood it correctly some dates are the graphic date not the actual date of tshirt itself. Has anyone experienced this or heard of that.
Yes they can re print the graphics if they have the license
Yes, that's right. So don't rely only on that date to identify vintage.
Duquesne pronounced Dew Cane.
Hi cant find the big sales on my ebay ?
I simply searched vintage TShirt filtered to completed and sold and sorted highest to lowest
thx gal@@TheNurseFlipper
Wtf are people thinking paying that much for a tshirt that is going to fall apart like any other old tshirt
They might be framing them or displaying I don't think they're wearing
That is pronounced Du-Kane. Do- Kane
Vintage Disney shirts don’t have dates fyi
Good to know thank you!
