    Wow! What a robust clipboard manager. So many functions I'll need to download the user guide to remember/reference them all!! 😃 Thanks Gary for such a useful tool. I use it pretty much every day. 👍

      Don't download it, bookmark it. So as I improve the app (and the documentation page) you are always looking at the most recent version.

    I like that you always have the default wallpaper of the current macOS version you're using as your background. It's practical and instantly recognizable.

    Hi Gary - thanks for an amazing tool. I have 1.5.0 version and Clip Manager was crashing (actually app quitting) when I selected Saved Clips or Smart Clips if they were empty. To test, I saved one clip then I could switch to Saved Clips tab but switching to Smart Clips again killed the app.

    • @macmost
      @macmost  2 месяца назад

      In 1.5.0 there is a bug that causes that when the list is empty. 1.5.1 is out now and fixes that.

    One of most used apps on macos especially for adding a RUclips videos name and its link. Wish I this had an IOS equivalent. You are the best!

    Given that you did all the hard work, and I’m just a finicky user/critic, please take no offense at my comment(s).
    I think complexity is not the best friend of this outrageously competent clipboard manager. I suggest paring its bespoke features way, way down to 2 or 3 that have contextual choices.
    1. CMD+C should not change at all.
    2. CMD+V on the other hand should invoke a menu listing the last 10 or so stored phrases copied in the current document, sorted NEW to OLD.
    2a. Keying RETURN would default to the newest, so behaving like a standard clipboard.
    2b. All the rest in the list can be triggered by typing the first letter in the item.
    2c. For multiple items with the first letter, typing the same letter again moves to the next, ultimately looping back to the first.
    Again, please accept these as friendly suggestions and NOT as critique. You’ve done a fantastic job with your app. I just know that the one I describe here is one I would use.
    Very best regards, Peter.

    Really Really Thank you for making that for free. It's really great. I know in not ok to request this in Free. Anyway 😊If you can add more than two smart clip shortcut keys in setting. Because it showing only two keyboard shortcut lists. 😊 Thanks

    • @macmost
      @macmost  2 месяца назад +3

      Already in there. You can assign a keyboard shortcut to any Smart Clip using the Clip Manager. Do as many as you want.

    Just provide some options to choose icons in menu bar, the current icon doesn't blend with other icons.

    Hi! Any way I can use replace or sub to replace words but maintaining their original font styles? I have a text with different fonts but the replace function also change the original fonts

    • @macmost
      @macmost  2 месяца назад +1

      No, you'd have to do that inside the app you are using with its own native replace.

    Hi again, Can I know is that possible to make when we clicking somewhere and press the shortcut and bring popup in that area to select our smart clips. so we can choose it from that box. Hope you got it. I know I can get that activate menu. But I mean, If we can get popup or something in text area showing our smart clips list. so, we can choose a smart clips easily. I think I saw it clippy tool. Thanks.

      @@macmost i mean can i get smart clip list like this box 5:46 . Like this. Without opening clip manager. 5:46 this drop down menu or this kind of small pop us shows all our smart clips. I will submit a screenshot what i mean by that. 😊

      @@dushan6588 Not exactly like that. But the Clip Manager does show you a list of your Smart Clips with far more information about them. Or you can also get a list sorta like that in the menu bar too.

    I’m still in love with the little clipboard utility called Maccy
    But, these features are getting too powerful now on your app Gary, I might have to abandon that little gem soon and move to your program.
    Great work, and thanks for keeping it free

    Hi Gary. Clip Tools seems to have disappeared from my system. The App is still there, but when I click on it nothing happens, and the shortcut is not appearing in Chrome. Any thoughts?

    • @macmost

      Not sure what the issue could be for you. Try a restart and see if that fixes it. Make sure you are using the very latest version (1.5.1).

    Hm.. I'm on my macbook, and I can open cliptools but if I try to go to saved clips, it bombs on me. completely disappears from the screen. Is it a macbook issue? Same thing happened when I tried to go to smart clips.

    • @macmost

      Bug. Happens if you go to Saved Clips in Clip Manager but have no saved clips. Fix coming, but until then just add a saved clip. Same for Smart Clips.
