Duuude, this video rocks. I was randomly sitting here looking at my grip master wondering what else I could do with it after mindlessly gripping it for like 3 years now lol This is a game changer, thank you.
The power pinch. I purchased a mixed pack of hand strength tool off Amazon to improve my climbing strength. All the tools primarily focus on grip strength and I was trying to figure out some way to incorporate the thumb. Power pinch was the perfect answer. Much appreciated! Btw awesome ukulele skills!
You missed out the [not obvious] violin... reason I purchased this gadget... because when you learn/do vibrato you need strength in your distal interphalangeal joints... nearest your fingertip... especially your pinkie which is always weak! I'm no doctor/physio btw. Got this from a violin related vid which suggested the Grip Master. Your exercise at 3:34 (the Finger Tip Pinch) will be most useful for budding violinists. Doing this on your right (bowing) hand, will help keep that pinkie bent as it has to be at all times! Didn't realise quite how versatile this thing is... Great vid!
Thank you for that great insight. I originally bought this tool when I was learning guitar 🎸. Over time is sat and one day I found it in storage and wondered what else can this tool do to help. Thus, this video was made. Thanks for watching
Finger strength is definitely needed for walking the dogs, especially when they get excited and just want to run in all sorts of directions ☺️. Thanks for watching an for your support
Thanks for your insight and info relating to the Gripmaster Prohands exercise tool! What beginner to advanced regimens (frequency/duration) do you recommend?
Hey new subscriber here 👋! Just wondering how or where did you find all these amazing exercises i recently bought my own gripmaster but it didn’t came with a guide for exercises thanks
Imo more parts and more plastic = more opportunities of failure when it comes to devices that have lots of strength and tension put on them. I got one of those chinese adjustable hand grippers and the sled the spring is attached to so that the weight is adjustable decided to snap in the half. The sled is metal and it broke. I got a simple all steel conventional gripper and it never broke on me because there are no weakspots.
I agree with you, less moving parts less chances of it breaking. This specific grip strengthener doesn't have lots of tension though. It's only 9lbs per spring. So it's super light weight. These are mainly for your pinch grip as opposed to your crushing grip.
Most of these are geared towards finger strength. If you decide to use the grip trainer I would say the tripod pinch, wrist flex and tricep press. This is my honest opinion as to what would be best when using this tool for your specific sport. Hope this helps
Hello. Thank you very much for a great demonstration! The instructions note that you should hold a position for like 3-5 seconds and then release. Would it be better to do that (and do fewer reps) or do the max reps you can do by squeezing and releasing immediately till you get tired? Note I am doing them for guitar
My honest opinion would be to mix it up. Like regular work outs you want to switch it up to cause muscle confusion. This keeps your muscles guessing and will ultimately strengthen it. Start with holds for 2 weeks then move onto squeeze and release and increase reps over time
Best way to develop any gains, are to continue until failure. Me personally, I use these in conjunction with other grip exercises. And I do about 20-30reps, for a total of 3sets. Hope this helps
@@TheNinjaLife my piano teacher wants me to think of my hand and arm as a wrecking ball, my arm being the chain, and my hand being the wrecking ball, I’m trying to figure out an exercise to help my finger tips be more independent without requiring too much arm tension, like focusing the strength on the knuckles instead of the arm
Ah I see. This gripper helps a lot of people who play sting instruments. Personally it helped me work my fingers independently for guitar before I switched over to the ukulele. If you follow some of the exercises in the video, I'm sure it'll help you with independent finger use for the piano 🎹. As cheap as theses are it's worth a shot. I hope this helps
@@TheNinjaLife could u recommend me any exercises listed in the video if you could? Thanks man, do you have a patreon by any chance? Would love to support you.
For piano, I'd say the ones with the finger pinch and finger isolations exercises. Those should help with finger strength for your instrument. Thanks for wanting to support. I currently do not have a Patreon account but will open one later in the year. I'm currently in the process of moving so everything is hectic at the moment
Is it light for all the different exercises with correct repetitions? I have the heavy tension as well. And personally it's easy enough to rip through most of the exercises, However after about 10-15 reps, my pinky and ring finger start to struggle. Which is exactly where I should be to help increase grip for those fingers
Which exercises do you plan to incorporate to your workouts?
and how many time did I say the word exercise? 😬

That's awesome! Glad you found new life for your grip master.
BASS player here, 28 years later it becomes a tool for everyone.... AWSOME!!!
Every time dude smiles he looks like Jason from "The Good Place"
I swear that I heard him mention Blake Bortles...

Thanks! And hey, no worries! Awesome I was able to help out.
Thank you. I just bought this as a fathers day gift. Will probably buy for myself after watching your video! Thank you!!
You're welcome. Thanks for watching 😊
Awesome! I got one for Christmas and was initially skeptical, but it seems like with a little creativity there’s some pretty effective exercises!
Gotta find those little hacks to help out whenever possible.

Hi! Thanks for the sub! I reached out to the Company and they mentioned a few exercises. But most online from a variety of sources. Glad to help
Same!

Wrist Flex!!!!! ❤
What exercises are good for athletes?
a question: how many sets do you do with how many reps?
or untill you can't push or pinch no more??
I bought one in the 1970’s. I am a guitarist who now has carpal tunnel syndrome. Which exercise is best to relieve that! Thanks anybody!
Looking to improve my arm and wrist strength for bowling! Which of these exercises would you recommend most?

Nearly bought one
Finger play. I have to train my left hand to play on guitar :)

@@TheNinjaLife Thank you. I'll follow your advice!
@@TheNinjaLife I've been holding it for 2 weeks... Help I can't let go now.

Does this also improve finger reflex?
I can't say for sure, but I imagine it would
Podrían agregarle traducción abajo en castellano, por favor, saludos de chile.
Thank you,I guess I've been doing it wrong
Guess we've all learned something!
Do these help the fingers use strength without arm tension
Not quite sure if I fully understand your question. But these to work your fingers independently.

Is it THC on your shirt? If it is I consider subscribing :)
No, sorry not THC.
i can press every finger down except the pinky
Awesome!!
You would get way more subs if you reviewed ninja weapons and tactical gear
Dude, no way...that would take me MONTHS.
Haha, guess you should get started and make those months count. 👍
I can close a 200lb gripper but my pinky can't even close like 5 pounds so now I feel like my pink is holding me back
