- We all know the headlines. It seems like its a new one every other week now. The latest pastor who has fallen into adulteries, or even raping younger children. It is quite easy for the church to point the finger at the immoralities of the world, but are we not to judge inside the church?
Not all of Christianity is guilty of this. But when was the last time you heard a sermon on how God considers the sin of adultery so serious, that He instituted the death penalty? Or how with rape He required the life of the offender?
Instead, for many of these offending pastors, a temporary leave with a "sorry about that" is enough to satisfy the discourse, only to have him back next year. If me, being a believer can say this, what may the world (being at enmity with God) say?
If we don't speak out and judge the immoral in our midst we call "brother", then the world will. And they will rightfully accuse us of hypocrisy and misrepresentation of what we say we believe. Worst of all, perhaps, many of them will attribute our hypocrisy to our Messiah. And our hands will be full of blood.
The rise of Progressive Christianity and a great falling away isn't the fault of the liberals or the immoral in the world. No. It is the fault of the compromising church, who in her hypocrisy have allowed immorality to flourish within. And when it flourishes within, will the world not only take what they have learned one step further?

You've been on fire lately brother. I wish more people had ears to hear what the Spirit is saying through you.
I pray that many would incline their ears and their hearts to God's Words and learn from Holy Spirit He sent. But I think people are too busy looking for gospels that tickles their ears. Sadly.

Praise YHVH! There are so many in my family that don't understand my "strange" way of following Christ- and I just keep on following Him the way He taught us. I know we will stumble, and I know YHVH hasn't opened the eyes of many yet, but my fervent prayer is that more and more will begin to see. That the scales will be removed.

The church is a place where you're forgiven for your sins. Not celebrated for your sins. God says come as you are and I will change you. I will make you better. I will cleanse you of your sins. God does not say come as you are and you will be accepted for who you are. Because God does not accept the fact that we are sinners.God does not accept evil. That's why God wants to change who we are and make us better. Is we must repent for our sins. God loves the sinner but hates the sin.

I am not an accomdator, at all. We have always believed in the real true hard gospel. I dont fear man or care about fitting in. Yet, raising kids today is soooooo hard. Scattered in the wilderness. No fellowship. No support. It feels impossible to raise kids today. Had i known, what i know now....i would have never had kids. But yes, i agree, you are on fire these days! Good message.
