Hi Katie, a quick tassel tip. When you finish tying them on, instead of cutting the ends of the yarn, just use a darning needle and thread them down through the centre of the ball. Now there are no ends and it will be be more re secure. ❤ love the lamp.
I LOVED them all except for the two bowls and two glasses glued together. The last one -- the two lampshades is my favorite. I would like to do this with a wide fancy yarn or fancy crystal beads as I like a more glam look.

I loved all of these but I really liked that first one with the rug. Very simple (yet I would have never thought of that), but so up scale and classy looking. I am looking forward to more of your diy's.

Love them, so creative! I would only say that the West Elm vase, you could try to put joint compound all over it and paint over. It will help to hide all the places where you glued the pieces and make it into one solid piece. It will also provide more of an organic look.

I think my favorite is the lamp at the end! Also like the tray, but I'd make it with paint slightly thicker to have the design be slightly more distinct and colors a bit more separated and use a resin to finish. So awesome idea I may try it!

They still are really cool stone spray paint as well but I really like your sand technique for creating stone it's probably way cheaper

I love your ideas for the hanging lamp. I would have used jute twine to make the tassels, and would have aged to color of that nicely shaped lamp shade. Just another option.

The hanging lamp is my favourite.
My fav is catch all dish.
Would have done all the loops with tassels on the basket pendant. Looks neglected. The stool was a genius idea-love it. The little propagating set is adorable! The hanging table is pretty however I’d probably bump it all the time, lol.

Loved this! Do you have any tips for a decorative chandelier but without a light? I have an open electrical hole where a light would be but don't want to invest in a light fixture and paying someone to install it. I'm thinking of putting a standard circular electrical plate over it as a base but haven't figured out how the decorative ceiling piece would work yet.
You can get a plug in light kit lor less than $20 at World Market or IKEA. Then it is literally just a matter of plugging it in and putting a small hook in the ceiling to hang it!

Adding air dry clay along the base of the tumbler on top of the bowls would smooth out that area and get it looking more like than inspiration piece.
Yup I did that for another DIY recently and it worked ok but I think if I had done the joint compound on that area it would have worked just as well. Just didn’t think of it in the moment!
