- Sasuke Sarutobi was the most Evil ninja of all time in the Naruto universe. He never appeared in the Naruto Manga, or the Naruto Anime, be it Naruto part 1 or Naruto Shippuden. Still, Sasuke Sarutobi was one of the worst ninjas of all time. He ruled the Sarutobi clan during the Warring States period of Naruto, and was the father of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the 3rd Hokage.
Sasuke Uchiha got his name from Sasuke Sarutobi, but let's explore the story of Sasuke Sarutobi's terrible deeds during the Warring States period when he fought the Senju, Uchiha, and many other clans.

Everybody in “Naruto” is more interesting than the main protagonist. His whole origin and upcoming is generic compared to how in depth other characters are. I’d rather see a whole series just called “shinobi such and such” 😂 that just starts from the warring era and build to modern naruto line like no main characters just a show about the philosophy of shinobi.

Naruto is a complete master piece. The fillers fill in everything. The only shiit hole is Boruto. OST trash not nostalgic moments horrible opening music. Naruto had the best ost opening and ending songs of all anime.

He is not Tobirama on steroids that's just BS. Tobirama didn't hate other clans and as a matter of fact he encouraged the Senju to marry outside their clans and carry their spouses name instead of being Senju of the Forest. That's the reason we rarely come across a Senju in the entire show. The only reason he was upset with Uchiha is because they held on to their clan name and not being part of a greater thing.

The warring states is by and large the most intersting part of the whole lore
if they ever do that i hope they shine a light on some of the other powerful clans from other countries. We should know way more about clans like the kaguya clan from the mist and hagoromo clan from the cloud. Seems like the uchiha are really the only ones with a meaningful kekkei genkai sometimes

Wait wasn't Hiruzen a pupil of Tobirama? it makes no sense how a child of Sasuke Sarutobi (as depicted in this video) was under a big time senjiu...and the Naruto data books claim Madara Uchia, Hashirama Senju and Ashina Uzumaki regarded him highly as a formidable opponent being the first ninja to master all 5 main ninjutsu (wind, fire, water, earth and lightning). It is also stated that Sasuke Sarutobi was one of the first to summon Monkey King Enma, essentially creating the contract between them and summoning monkeys.
And to add...quite frankly the whole plot with hiruzen "brainwashing" everyone in the newly establish hidden leaf would never work with the likes of Madara, Hashirama and Tobirama around and in charge of the village and I highly doubt they'd be susceptible to that type of brainwashing. This take just doesn't sit with me idk.

The more you learn about the Third Hokage and his actions, the more you learn that people like Kabuto were right to hate the Leaf as while not everything happened by his word, Lord 3rd clearly knew more then he let on, and at times decided against the right thing for what he saw as the practical thing, with exceptions as you would think that as someone that knew what it was like to be hated for something out of your control, he would have done more for Naruto like IDK...raise him, or ask a jounin from his clan he adopt the boy

A lot of the people in Naruto were based on legendary characters from Japanese literature, such as the Sannin. And if he could make the character of Orochimaru out to be such a despicable being, I can see Kishi making dirt like this on Sarutobi be canon eventually.
The only things in Naruto that are/were once regarded as real are Susano'o, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Kagutsuchi, Kirin, etc. The Uchiha jutsu are often given the names of gods from the Japanese pantheon, so probably making characters named after them would've been considered some form of slight against Japan or at least blasphemy.

I feel a little bad for Hiruzen. His father, prized pupil, and his childhood best friend were all evil af. And his sensei was kind of an a-hole too.

@@lapplandkun9273 not owing the village is true and I don't really see why him leaving was necessarily such a huge deal. He did know the risks and understood that orochimaru planned on taking over his body and essentially killing him, it's his own risk. Naruto was kinda being over protective and Tsunade saw a bit too much of her brother in Naruto at that point and let Naruto go on a mission that honestly probably should have killed Neji and maybe Choji.
I don't really disagree with Sasuke having the right to leave for another village and having some right to defend himself if he was attacked on his way out. I don't really understand why he felt the need to leave aside from that orochimaru is powerful and could maybe help him kill itachi, though I think plenty of other people could get him to that level of strength just fine.
Regardless, why does Sasuke have any right to be mad at the leaf village after he defeats itachi? Or want to destroy the whole village system altogether? Itachi killed the Uchiha out of loyalty to the leaf but it was still his choice. Sasuke is mad at the leaf for a choice itachi made independently. How did the story of the leaf's creation get him to the conclusion the village system as a whole is a mistake? The only conclusion that makes sense from that story is that the CLAN system is bad but that's not the same system and not the conclusion Sasuke reaches.
Sasuke may not owe them anything but attempting to harm them is a conclusion that doesn't really make much sense given the information he has.

But Itachi did what he did because he didn't have any other options. Danzo made the situation worse by choosing genocide over reasoning and diplomacy. Sasuke Sarutobi on the other hand literally choose eugenics and cared less about most of his children. I'd rather sit in the same room with Itachi than Sasuke Sarutobi any day of the week.

I wish they would replace the fillers with the light novels as episodes, to give us a better backstory of characters introduced, but never elaborated on.
I mean, if I were kishimoto I would write something like this (as lower canon). There's nothing shameful about looking at history and noticing rape, murder, and bigotry used to be a lot more common, and naruto just got out of 3 world wars, so skie's the limit.

I like how every one of the "Hiruzen did not take care of naruto/worst hokage" guys never question why Kakashi also never took care of naruto or at least pay him some visits since his father was his SENSEI🤔. Plus i love how no one mentions that Naruto, In THE MOST EASY AND PEACEFUL TIME PERIOD TO BE A HOKAGE EVER, did not have time to be with Boruto. Hiruzen during his reign before and after naruto was born, had so much shit to deal with and for so many years at that point: The Uchiha political problems, 4th Hokage death, Orochimaru his student and leaf prodigy leaving the village, 9 tails attack, rebuilding the Village, not having a strong enough Hokage succesor and a vulnerable village after the attack, The Hyuga-Cloud Village incident, Danzo, Itachi in akatsuki etc... So there you go. I know everyone thinks its cool to hate on Hiruzen, and yes, he made some mistakes. But look at the whole picture first. Its obvious he did hang out/took care of Naruto in the little free time he had, since we see the flashbacks from his funeral(eating ramen with him, walks etc.)
Kakashi was a teenager, you wanted him to raise a children ☠️ And at least Naruto didn't let Boruto with expired food and no Money. Of not for Ramen guy he would probably be dead...

But true death even in the real world is dying and being forgotten, no legacy, no legends, no one inheriting your will, your name being lost to the sands of time. For better or worse geroge washington, hitler, steve Jobs these are examples of people who though they are dead theyre names are never truly gone because of history and so they can live on in some way shape or form.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories about Hiruzen that makes him look super evil and more disgusting than Danzo.
I think some of them are probably true, cause I don't think someone can be that incompetent.
Like people say he let Naruto have a terrible childhood and didn't tell anyone about his parents cause he wanted him to be completely alone and rely on him entirely so that he'd be more loyal. I don't think Sasuke Sarutobi was evil. Kishimoto usually sticks to old Japanese folklore within the Naruto universe and this character is part of old folklore. He was a strong, noble, yet humble samurai. This sounds like fanmade theories. Great video tho.

This photo of Sasuke Sarutobi is from Sengoku Basara. Why are you making it look like this giyvis the same as the Sasuke Sarutobi from the Naruto verse. I HAVE NEVER seen such a character in Naruto before. You can tell the lore but dont use other manga/anime characters. It's misleading.
Honestly the 3rd was the truly most evil character in the series because he was complacent in all the fucked up stuff that happened in the story for like 30 years. His since of sacrifice for the greater good ended up causing most of the tragedies in the leaf's history and he did it with no remorse.

Yo, Dygo, unrelated, but I'd figure this idea I wrote from a forum thread might interest you for the Final War arc:
Yeah. A Neji-Darui tag team would've been a pretty cool subplot in the first day of the 4th war. Honestly, Neji doesn't have to die for Naruto when he does, it might be more interesting to have him die to protect Darui or someone else, who could be retconned as a Village Head for Kumo (like the guy who did the kidnapping in the past). Do a full circle with Neji here, getting to die for the cloud like his father on his own terms. A confrontation with his dad in Edo Tensei could help draw that narrative together. Maybe make the Ginkaku and Kinkaku brothers more of a threat, and have Neji play second fiddle to Darui in the fight. Then work on sealing his father. If you want Neji to still die for Naruto later, have him protect Darui from the Gedo statue with Rotation, but be critically injured. Yeah Sakura saves his life, but when it comes time to save Naruto (and maybe also A, B or nearby cloud-nin), his injuries' limitations prevent him from doing so safely. This could also be a crazy display of his skill that, like Itachi and Kimimaro before him, he's able to keep up jonin level combat ability despite his weakened body; every muscle and bone in his body is pulverized by the Gedo, he can move his should-be immobile corpse through sheer willpower and unrivalled chakra control. This also puts mad respect on him as a shinobi by basically making him equal to the next raikage with a chakra control on par with Itachi Uchiha.

All we really know about Sasuke Sarutobi is that he was the father of the 3rd Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi, and that he was a legendary ninja in history, that's why Sasuke's father named his second son Sasuke because he wanted his son to be as great as a shinobi as the father of the 3rd Hokage, he was probably really prominent in the warring states period and the way the fanbase talks about his strength seems like they're referring to prime Hiruzen but a much more stronger version so probably like Minato in terms of skill, Hiruzen was a prodigy surpassing both of his successors so I can't really think of any reason why his father wouldn't be just as if not even more impressive than his son, I mean just look at how many legendary shinobi are parents of incredible shinobi we already know, Minato is Naruto's father, Fugaku is Itachi and Sasuke's father, Sakumo Hatake is Kakashi's father and in his time he was known throughout the world as the legendary white fang of the leaf and was compared to have power which rivaled that of the sannin, however this statement mainly comes from the time that the sannin fought in the second great shinobi world war and we have no real reason too believe the 3 students of the 3rd Hokage didn't get even stronger after that time period, I certainly know Jiraiya and Orochimaru must've right?, Orochimaru was always trying to become more powerful and Jiraiya I just feel like wanted to get stronger, I would love it if Kishimoto made a spin-off manga where he can showcase a lot of the ideas and concepts he may have had for certain characters throughout shinobi history he introduced, specifically in the older generations of shinobi, call it Naruto: Past Generations where we see more of characters we'd like to know more about like Minato, Fugaku, Sakumo, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Tsunade, Hashirama, Madara, Tobirama, Izuna Uchiha, Shisui Uchiha, Kagami Uchiha (Shisui's grandfather), and Hikaku Uchiha, past Kage from different villages, and completely obscure characters like Sasuke Sarutobi, Hiruzen's other child and their spouse in their time of the anbu, Tsunade's parents/Hashirama's child, I just feel like if we got way more story revolved around either most of if not all these specific characters we could have a better understanding of not only a bit of the obscure lore/story and different time periods within the main story that weren't expanded upon the most, but also a bit more of the main story itself because I don't really see a logical reason why anyone would complain about more Naruto content from the original creator himself, just imagine if we a relatively shorter manga like Naruto, but all of it is focused around different characters and time periods we didn't get to see much off or at all even.
Personally I believe Sasuke Sarutobi was a pretty dope dude, I believe he could pretty much do everything Hiruzen can in his younger and older age if not better, and I believe he would kinda be talked about like how Minato was talked about in the main series, where as pretty much everyone who talked about him hyped up his skill and power, the 4th Raikage even thought that there could never exist another shinobi that existed before or after Minato that could rival his power much less surpass it, Sasuke Sarutobi like his son would most likely be a prodigy and I personally imagine him being very adept in fire style, being that he is from the Sarutobi clan, I also personally believe he could use all five basic nature transformations and would be very adept in taijutsu (don't know much about genjutsu tho), this and something else is more so me believing if he was showcased in the series Kishimoto would HEAVILY base him around the actual Sasuke Sarutobi who was a real legendary person, being that he has the same name, which is also why I believe when he'd fight he'd move more so like an actual monkey than his son would, and would have access to many powerful monkey/ape summons that would aid him, that's probably where Hiruzen learned the summoning jutsu and monkey king Enma, he obviously most likely would be the first person to really teach both in training and wisdom about being a shinobi too Hiruzen being that he was the kid's father, also seeing just the full life of Hiruzen would be interesting enough because we'd also get to see more of past Hashirama and Tobirama teaching him as well as possibly his father prior to the two Hokage raising his son, and of course Hiruzen himself in his prime.
