After watching it, I can understand that some of the things Hiruzen hass done (such as with people's view on Naruto & inability to stop Orochimaru) might not convince everyone he was a good Hokage, but having him learn from his mistakes still acts as at least a decent character development while also showing us that not every Kages can become very successful ones. Also when learning about his history, I can probably see the 3rd Hokage as a Naruto version of: Roku & Iroh from ATLA since they've both made very regrettable mistakes but also learn from them with the help of the second chances they've respectively received. Dan, a guy who would be aware of the mythical "Prime Hiruzen", openly states NO ONE can beat Madara other than Hashirama (who was stated and shown to be even stronger). Even Suigetsu addresses Hashirama by Hiruzen's old title as the God of Shinobi. He doesn't even BOTHER to address Hiruzen as that lol. Same the Fourth Databook. It's 2021, guys.

Prime hiruzen so underrated. It's clear from what's said that he was they second strongest behind Hashirama, maybe third including Minato. Tobirama hiruzen and Minato are close in power but I give Minato an edge while giving hiruzen a boost for his reputation being greater than tobiramas. with Edo prime tobirama shown to be extremely powerful, the fact hiruzen is held in higher regard tells you he surpassed him. He also trained the sannin. Minato also had a legacy that surpassed tobirama and he perfected tobiramas jutsu and improved it as well as created his own justsu
At least to me, Hiruzen is a prime example of giving you a run for your money. I'm gonna settle with that, there's just no way we're going to see him get clapped easily by anybody from that show.

Hiruzen is one of the kindest pure hearted and strongest ninja to have ever lived I love his character every flashback he has the most impactful speeches he loved his village and viewed it as one big family rest in peace he reminds me so much of our elders in real life for all the haters don’t forgot he’s lived thru all 3 major wars and has seen plenty of death to still stay true to his self and his teachers/teachings showed how strong he is and carries that will of fire even in death he still choose to see orochimaru for who he truly is which I know ultimately led to him changing his ways I can go on about the legendary sarutobi sensei

Good video. After watching it, I can understand that some of the things Hiruzen hass done (such as with people's view on Naruto & inability to stop Orochimaru) might not convince everyone he was a good Hokage, but having him learn from his mistakes still acts as at least a decent character development while also showing us that not every Kages can become very successful ones.
Also when learning about his history, I can probably see the 3rd Hokage as a Naruto version of:
Roku & Iroh from ATLA since they've both made very regrettable mistakes but also learn from them with the help of the second chances they've respectively received.
Jetfire from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen where his design could probably be inspired by Hiruzen's Ninja Uniform.

Hiruzen's "God of Shinobi" hype was literally retconned, pure and simple. Hashirama is portrayed as the strongest ninja of all time (not only on his era) before Juubito appearance, only second to the Sage of Six Paths (who wasn't technically a ninja) and Madara a close third.
Dan, a guy who would be aware of the mythical "Prime Hiruzen", openly states NO ONE can beat Madara other than Hashirama (who was stated and shown to be even stronger).
Even Suigetsu addresses Hashirama by Hiruzen's old title as the God of Shinobi. He doesn't even BOTHER to address Hiruzen as that lol. Same the Fourth Databook.
