- On our last visit to Valencia we drove, so that we could take a trip to where it is said is the "birthplace of Paella"- around l´Albufera a huge natural park and wetlands 20 minutes drive from Valencia.
We take a trip out onto the water, as well as try an authentic paella in this quaint place.
The question is: is it as good as one Helen makes?- or is it actually any good AT ALL?

Beautiful !! My kind of trip....Loved that boat/semi gondola trip... Helen and all of you give us so much to think about with Spain... truly diverse.... Shame about the Paella..... Helen is great @Rectifying the situation. Another fantastic Vlog. Thanks so much for sharing. Hi Bob 😎
Thanks- and thanks for watching!
Oh no what a shame about the Paella 🫣 especially that you went to a birth place of Paella 😢😢😢
Boat trip looked good 😊
Tell us about it. Starters were great, and at least the restaurant tried to rectify. Boat trip was relaxing. Thanks for watching 👍
A real shame about the Paella, good on yous for still leaving a good tip. 👍
Was unfortunate. Thanks for watching 👍
Great stuff
Thanks for watching 👍
@@britslivinginspain I really enjoyed this one 👍
@Expat Paul Shame we sent it back.....
Another one for the to do list- I read about a restaurant recommendation there called Bon Aire - was that the one you went to? Boat trip looked fun
Thanks for watching. We avoided the restaurant name during the edit so they didn't get "bad publicity" as they did attempt to rectify the situation and all restaurants have bad days... but it wasn't the one you mentioned 😉
@@britslivinginspainmakes sense, although it wouldn’t stop me going there as they clearly have a good customer focus - just too many people in the kitchen added salt 😳
Hi can u please let us know what’s the best way to get there? Online is very expensive £60 per pax
We drove in the car. Scroll down this page, it advises the buses that can get you there:
