Well done Bea and Paul, smashing recommendations. We visited Tasca El Botijo last night. Those tapas were delicious, and I love the area, has a real energy to it. We were lucky to grab a table at Los Gomez on our first night and those starters are something else, wow! Pleased to have tried their Valencian Paella with rabbit and snails which was super tasty. We would also recommend Tasca Angel, a tiny tapas bar near Plaza Mercado. Owning a catering business in the Uk it's nice to see every restaurant and cafe offering such good quality ingredients at affordable prices. No wonder they're all busy! It's a stark contrast to what we're experiencing at home. Many thanks
Sweet! We’re always nervous when someone tries out our recos, so I’m glad they met your expectations! And thanks for the suggestion, we’ll have to try Tasca Angel out. Again, thank you for the great comment! Made our morning!
finally a thorough video about Valencia's food, with different suggestions and outside of all the touristic restaurants that most videos have, which is kind of boring an dlacks the authenticity!! thank you guys! nice job!! Just subscribed!!
Great content, we’re off to Valencia next week and hoping to try some of your recommendations, not sure three days will be enough unfortunately! We love trying local food, and you’ve provided a very comprehensive list, well done guys. Now to track them down.
Hello, new subscriber here. Just found your channel. I see that you have are excellent guides for us travellers who are planning a visit. You are thorough, humorous, & entertaining. My wife & I were salivating with each tasting. We are thinking of spending 1 month in Valencia. Hopefully, weather in April will be good. Keep up the good content & humor.
Thanks you for taking the time to share your video of different types of food in Valencia, I definitely will check out those places next year when I visit Valencia. Very good video ❤
Thank you for this extensive list!! It has so much on it and I'm excited to try all of them. My husband and I just moved here to Valencia so this list really helps. ❤
I loved this video. I was in Valencia almost a year ago and I'm headed back in April. I want to be better prepared for my month there and this video is among the Top 2 that I have seen on the topic. Great job and Thank you!
Thank you so much for this (and the rest of your Valencia videos), definitely going to try a bunch of these when we visit this summer to make sure your sacrifices were not made in vain :)
Really really enjoyed this video. Honestly when I clicked your video I got excited and thought, “omg are they Filipino?!” ❤❤ So excited to watch more of your guys videos! Thank you for the great content. Excited to try some of these places
Excellent video! Thank you for such an intensive research and sampling. It is refreshing and much more trustworthy to hear from someone who has been testing since 10 months living in Valencia than some random popular content creator who landed there 3 days ago! Lot of great suggestion and extensive variety. Looking forward to try them out soon. Subscribed!
@@EverythingIsBoffo Looking forward to the updated list!! Btw, I have 2 recommendations for you! One is called BURRITOS (they have 3 restaurants in Valencia) and their burritos are a blast of flavours! The other one is Latte&Farina. They have such good pizzas! (It is recommed to reserve a table beforehand). Also, is "Okay Lah" permanently closed or they moved to a new place/changed their name? Thank you so much for your recommendations!
Have been a subscriber for a while and love your videos. My wife and I are in Valencia now for a month. Going to attempt to visit most of the restaurants on your list. Trying to decide if Valencia will be our next home. Would love to have a drink with you guys.
Will try them all. Thanks. I also watch the food video in Paris. Nice and affordable, hard to find in Paris. I will try them also when I go. Hopefully next year or after the Olympics. Love the videos!
Thanks Paul and Bea, for recommending Arrozarse as a bonus. What are the chances that while visiting Valencia and just picked up some "to go" paella, that I'd run into you guys on the street whilst coming out of the restaurant! It was nice to meet you guys in person. Thanks for all the useful, interesting and entertaining information you put out on your channel. 😊
Adoro Cafè de las Horas ❤. Here some other places I recommed you to try: Gelática Ice Concept in Cabanyal for a delicious croissant filled with horchata ice-cream, Toshi in Carmen owned by a great Japanese chef who cooks delicious contemporary Valencian cuisine, Casa Carmela & Ferradura for a very tradicional paella near the beach on weekends, Ultramarinos Huerta for delicious Spanish tapas, Canalla Bistro by Ricard Camarena for surprising fusion cuisine...
Hi Bea and Paul. My boyfriend and I are coming to Valencia next month and were very excited to try out all the food in Valencia. We really love your videos and boy I was cracking when I saw Punk-o Punk-o in your video. I am Cebuano and I grew up with these street food. Only Cebuanos know how pungko-pungko works. I was so excited so I checked their menu and saw that they have Ngohiong thats also a very Cebuano food. So yes I am very excited to check them out as I don't get to eat these food in New York. Hope we will bump into each other in Punk-o Punk-O would love to treat you for dinner as my kababayan! Thank you for posting all these tips really enjoyed them.

I liked the video up to the point about El Convento, I know Well, I've worked next door on many occasions. The reason it has so many students is because it's wall to wall with one of the Universidad Católicas buildings. If you really want to taste some really good morro or patatas bravas just drop a reply
Send us your reco! I’ve tried other patatas bravas but still liked the crispness of theirs by far. And the aioli was also better than most that I’ve tried. Those, plus the price, were our deciding factors.
Guys, you should have mentioned Horchatería Els Sariers, instead of Santa Catalina. Santa Catalina's horchata is more watery, compared to Els Sariers'. Plus, it's Alboraya. I don't need to explain the last part, for (Spanish) horchata connoisseurs. Also, for one of the best bakeries in town, if not actually the best, especially when it comes to bunuelos de calabaza, try Horno Vicente Raimundo. Ca te touche l'ame.

Great video! Los Gomez food was good but service was terrrrrrrrrible. I don’t know if this is a Spanish or a Valencia thing but we walked in one night and no one talked to us for 20mins. We ate here the next day and the service was not much better (difficult to get their attention as they just walk around without looking at tables or checking in).
Aww, sorry that you had that experience! They were great when we went, even though we didn’t have a reservation. I can also recommend El Mirador at Only You Hotel. The service there is good and so is the food. We just tried them out. ☺️
