I'm here right now, let's go for coffee. Because i'm intending to move in here too.
It's such a relief to hear someone make so much sense. I appreciate your delivery and variety. So much help with no nonsense. Thank you. P.S. Have you ever thought of doing a regional fashion video? I know there's others out there like me who don't want to look like a tourist or expat and need a travel makeover. Thanks again.
You are so welcome! That’s a great idea for a next video. Rule of thumb, gym clothes and trainers stay at the gym. Dress for the season, not for the temperature. Thanks for watching!
What a great collection of tips ❤
Excellent video! Will immediately begin sharing with every guest who is planning to come visit us, thanks!!!
@@AmyWhoAreYou yay! 🥳
These tips were absolutely amazing! Covered all bases, thank you so much☺️
That’s awesome! Thanks for watching 😊
So helpful for our upcoming trip next week. Especially the coffee ordering 💕
Woohoo! Glad it helps! Enjoy 😊
Really good info that works not only in Valencia, but across Spain. Just some added FYI...When tipping, many servers don't like to round up when using the credit card reader as often this money does not come back to them but rather goes directly to the business owner. I always ask. Also, when ordering a beer, you can never go wrong with "cerveza grande." With that, you'll get what beer they have on tap in their biggest glass (12-16 oz). 😁🍺
Yes we leave a tip in effectivo as much as possible, but thanks for the reminder. We'll be sure to go strictly cash for the tips. Cerveza grande, I love it! 😆
Best video I've ever seen, you guys are amazing! Thanks for all the tips.
Thank you so much! Glad it helps 🙏🏼
Thank you for your post. Very helpful and looks like a city to visit for a few days.
Yes it’s a beautiful city! ☺️
Thank you so much for the video, very informative and honest!

Great job! This is the best intro to VLC that I've seen!
Wow! Thank you so much 😊
Paul y Bea, spiffing, utterly ideas have explained, learned so much, gracias, adios, Manolo
Thank you for the kind comments Manolo! ☺️ We appreciate you!
Awesome video 🤩, beautiful scenes from Valencia 😎, packed with informations 👍
I never came across those brown containers for oil. I was wondering where to throw it (toilet, sink, outside on the ground....). Anyway I rarely have to throw oil, maybe 2 times in a year.
When I first came to Valencia, I was looking for an apartment in the city center, but it turns out I found a place 4km from the city border (10 min by transportation), and I absolutely not regret it. For newcomers: be open to opportunities, even if it's not in the "city", because the transportation system is great.
The oil receptacles are not in every corner, but we don’t throw away oil that often. ☺️ we love the public transport here, very reliable.
Great video ! Very informative, all the best to you both. How does the free bus ride beginning September work ?
Thank you! I think the free ride will be with the trains :) "travelers will be able to hop aboard various trains on the public train network, Renfe, for $0...The free train rides will be available from September 1 to December 31, 2022. This new 100% discount is in addition to the previously announced discounts by the central Spanish government. Earlier this month, the government announced it would fund 30%-50% discounts on all public transport, including metros, buses, and trams"
Thank you very much for your informative video. We are going to Spain for a couple days and it helped give us the lay of the land and some good rules.
Thanks for watching! Enjoy your trip! 😊
We love valencia. Heading there again for fallas next week. Some great tips for people 👌 👍
Thank you! This year will be the best yet!
Great info, thanks!

Valencia third capital of Spain with 1 million inhabitants. It has a historic center. Fine sand beaches in Mediterranean waters 15 minutes from the center of the capital. Airport and numerous Bus and Metro lines as well as "AVE" railway station in the center of the City (high-speed train). There are highways that connect Madrid-Barcelon-Alicante. All the services you have are very good. A city with very pleasant winter temperatures. The City is all flat, there are many bike lanes throughout the City. Many restaurants and terraces to eat. With services and very affordable prices. It has 10 kilometers of parks and gardens that run through the entire city (former river channel). As well as The City of Arts-Sciences (futurist). It will like you.
It’s a wonderful city! Thank you Carlos for watching!
Really useful information. Thanks 🙏

Fantastic video indeed, thanks!
Thank you! 😊
Hi! Your videos are very usefull thanks a lot!
I’m wondering what is that beautiful place you show in your intro in the very beginning? Is it near Valencia too?
Yay! Glad it helps! 😊😊😊 Those places are all in Valencia and they’re all in here: ruclips.net/video/cTgIiQZuLwQ/видео.html
Uhmm where was this when I was in Valencia? LOL
It was so great meeting you both at Ate Agnes and Valere’s dinner party!!
We were still editing it 😜 Lovely to meet you too 🙌🏼

Hola, gracias mil por sus videos una pregunta when you left to spain with your NLV did you have ton purchase to a round trip or one way, please we're very close to coming as well very soon😊
We bought a one way ticket. Thanks for watching!
quite a good job guys
Thank you!
que video tan bueno boffo
Gracias! ☺️
Hola, thanks for the tips coz we are going to visit there by next week, we are just an hour drive and want to explore Valencia with kids. Do you know if we could buy the bus/
ticket for the whole family? Thanks
That’s awesome! Have fun! I saw on the website that they have a family tourist card: www.visitvalencia.com/en/shop/valencia-tourist-card/groups-valencia-tourist-card
Btw, how long will you stay in Valencia and what do you want to see? I think that will also be a factor of which tickets to purchase. Some of our museums are free and the city is walkable, plenty to see on foot alone. Have a great time!
We just planned for a day trip, and just want to let the kids ride bus around the city, great tip I will look into the link now. Thanks so much! Maybe we could meet you too if the time permits!

"The green cross is not what you think it is. It's a pharmacy" - I'm just curious, what that sign would've meant in the USA?
(I've been living in Ukraine and Poland most of my life, and we have similar pharmacy green crosses over here)
Green cross means marijuana dispensary in CA and some other states where weed is legal. 😉
good .
Thank you! Cheers!
So nice and beautiful place 💕
Thank you! It truly is 🥰
Putting a lot of these to use so thanks so much for the video! Today was only the 2nd full day and still so much to see before we leave on 4/27. LOVING Valencia! I'm kind of worried that no one was at passport control so we didn't get any stamps when we arrived. Hoping that won't be an issue trying to get out and back to the states next week. #fingerscrossed
That’s good to know! Glad it helped 🙏🏼 Maybe you got stamped on your connecting flight before you got to Valencia? At least that’s the hope 🤞🏼
@@EverythingIsBoffo yes, when we came into Frankfurt to connect to Valencia the German folks stamped it so 🤞🏻
@@cwredden There you go! I think you’re in the clear 🤞🏼😁🤞🏼

Great video! But why do you Wear a mask outside ? On the bike or in the restaurant tarras?😮
Thank you! Most of the footage here was from January 2021 and at that time, masks were still required outdoors 😊
Great video. I am visiting Valencia mid to end September 2024 for a one day event and was planning on making a holiday out of it. I am thinking of either 5/6/7 days holiday. Reading online, i don't know if there will be enough to do for all those days?
My other plan is maybe i spend 3 days in Valencia and 2/3 days in another city but i am not sure what other destination to pair with Valencia. Would appreciate any recommendations from you guys.
I think you can see a lot in 3 days! For side trips, depending on if you have a car or not. With car - Altea, Calpe, Peniscola. Without, ride the media distacia to Xativa, Gandia, or Sagunto or other smaller pueblos.
Peñiscola, morella, altea, jativa are near of valencia
There many places for Craft Beers in Valencia but not all of them serve food: Portland Ale House, The Urban Bar, Beerland, Chivuos, Cervezas Del Mercado, Ruzanuvol, Olhops, Bukowski Craft Beer, Tyris, Beer and Travels, Barbacana, Valhalla, Stonecastle Brewery, Zero 11 and my particular favourite The Market in the old town...
This is fantastic! Thank you! 🙏🏼
@@EverythingIsBoffo You're welcome ;-)
Good 🎉
Thank you!
Hi there! I will be visiting Valencia in September and my stay will last 8 days. I want unlimited use for public transport. Is there any way of doing this besides buying several Tourists Card? With the mobilis card seems that I will be limited to recharging it with either 10 bus rides or 10 metro rides.
I would greatly appreciate your answer! Thank you! :D
I don’t know of any unlimited for 8 days. But check out the tourist information center next to city hall, they may know!
Me and my partner are so excited to go next week, and after watching loads of your videos we know we will make the most of the trip!
We are planning to go to Guadalest one day, would you recommend going to the tourist centre to get their advice on the best way to travel? Looks like maybe best to get a bus to benidorm then a taxi to Guadalest..? Thanks! 😊
Yes would definitely recommend going to the tourist center for advice. Not only would they know the best way, they’ll probably speak English too. Good luck 👍🏼
hello!Like~ well picture!talk you later!=)
Thank you!!! TTYL! 🙌
When is the usual typical time of day for Menu el dia
Menu del dia starts at 13:00 😊 Video is coming tomorrow!
What happened to breakfast? What time do they eat breakfast?
@@jenstravelblog depends when they wake up! Usually they start with coffee and a piece of toast or pan con tomate, pan con queso, croissant or similar around 9am, or a heavier breakfast at 11ish like esmorzaret which is like a subway sandwich with eggs and slice of meat.

What else would a green cross mean?
In the US, it means a marijuana dispensary 😂
@4:47 Gracias is pronounced differently in Spain... or any words that have "cia" for that matter...
Claro! Gracias! 😊
The problem with learning some Spanish phrases. Is that if it's a question. You have no idea what their answer is!
