    Like your approach in this video, and I totally agree - you need to understand the context.
    Also... self defense vs competitional mma (or other fight sports) are two completely different worlds (again context).
    As for the clip.... it would not work as shown. I have seen variants of this technique though that takes into account what McDojo life comments... that they would not just roll off... and "deal with" that.... getting to the "window of opportunity" you mention!

    Frankly speaking it works for me one time and many times with my friend hes so rough and big i was in this type of position he was on my chest sitting i just idk its like judo principle because i throw him literally he was off in the air,, way more bigger about 125-130 and i was 170 i just flip him like a jolt and he was even holding my neck at that time my back on the dirt it works it does really works.. were just rough anyway.. maybe proper execution or more strength training like clinch and jerk in powerlifting..
