    I have this jacket, love it and now crave all the versions they make. Their gear is thoughtfully designed.

    The Black and Gray color looks awesome on 👍🏻! Wish you would’ve mentioned fit and sizing.

      Thanks for the comment, in our newer videos we cover sizing in a lot more detail. For reference, Paul is 6ft 3, has a 42" chest, a 34" waist and wore a size large in the Keb jacket.

    Fjallraven stuff is great but I'm so over no hand pockets. It means I only wear that piece when I'm doing some specific hiking or hillwalking activity. It limits the usability for me. Hand pockets don't have to be painful when a rucksack is worn. They just need to have the top of the zip high enough that the waist loop doesn't catch it.

    How do you get on when it rains? I find g1000 lets too much water in even when waxed.

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  4 года назад +3

      It's hard to say, but generally around 15-45 minutes depending on how well the jacket is waxed and the intensity of the rain. We'd recommend applying Greenland Wax in very thin layers, applying one layer over another until you have enough protection; this lasts longer and will offer greater weather resistance. Kind regards, Harry.

    Hi Trekkit, would you wear this in the wintertime?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  5 лет назад +3

      Not on its own, but with an insulating layer underneath it would provide a durable, weather resistant outer layer for a range of conditions.

    HI there!
    I saw the jacket and I felt in Love - considering that I might have an expedition in Patagonia during Fall (Max 50° F (10° C) Min 38° F (3° C) Precip: 5.8 in) - would you suggest this jacket? if not, what would you recommend?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  2 года назад

      This jacket has no insulation, so it won't provide warmth, but it'll work as an outer layer with insulative layers underneath. It really depends what you're looking to get out of the jacket. Harry

      @@trekitt Ill probably trek around Patagonia which during fall has around 11h sun but they say that there could be med/high rainfall.
      The jacket seems to stand for Fall period however I am searching something that can provide warmth on these temperatures while camping as well (below 2000m).
      I am assuming that this might not be a good fit then.

    The Keb jacket is not as warm as the Keb Padded Hoodie, is it? Can you compare?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  3 года назад

      The Keb is uninsulated whereas the Keb Padded features a synthetic insulation, so they're designed for slightly different things. The Keb is more of an outer layer whereas the Keb Padded can be used as a warm insulated midlayer or an outer layer in milder conditions. Harry.

    Are these jackets waterproof?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  3 года назад

      Hi, the Keb jacket is not 100% waterproof. It is designed to shrug off light showers and is highly windproof and will take a beating. If you need to increase the water resistance you can add Greenlenad Wax to the G1000 fabric.
