The Cub is now really in a class of its own. All the other competitors from Yamaha etc. have all been discontinued many years ago. Not a scooter, not a full motorbike it is _"Cub Class"_
I've got a Honda cub90 and I went to Brighton from Manchester before I passed my test (so no motorways). Hated the initial part of the journey, but then I embraced it. And I never forgot it. You've got to love the cub.
Good to hear your ramblings & see you riding the cub again. With your new positive outlook on life I think you'll be happy going on any of your bikes. If I had a choice out if Bambi & cub it would be cub all day long. Great vlog my friend. Enjoy the ABR & getting your new steed when you get back. ✊🐟
Thanks for another cub video, I've just finished watching the big little adventure again. Great stuff, largely responsible for me buying a 2021 cub here in Aus. I absolutely love it.👍🇦🇺
I'm sure you can get some off road tyre for the CT125, which will fit the SuperCub, but I think you'll need to get some tubes for them, as the CT125 has spoked wheels and I'm not sure if they'll fit on your rims without the tubes. Ask Pezza, he'll know.
I once rode my 250 Rally 170 miles to an off road event. Got a tent and sleeping bag on it no problem. Hope you are able to sort out your fork seal Mr. Fish.
I’m going to the ABR on my 250L, went last year on it too. It was a great bike to use but unfortunately I had the oem tyres so that wasn’t good! I thought it was a great festival but I’m hoping there will be a few less people. Hopefully I’ll see you there 👍🙂
That’s a bit of a worry, trying to book test rides was difficult last year it will be impossible this year ☹️. I really fear that the popularity of this festival will ruin it.
I rented a Wave 125i for a week in northern Thailand. Coyuldn't get on with the gearchange. Flexible engine, and I can see their appeal. For round the local area, I prefer my Yamaha Aerox 155 twist and go scooter. So much quicker off the mark.
on one of my cubs for offroad i have a set of 2.75 - 17 M/C 47M TT Heidenau K46 Not 100% sure it will fit tho with your cub with the wheel arch and swing arm... tbh the offroad course will be fine on the cub as is jsut take it a bit slower so you dont ground out
I have a question for you and any other Cub owners. I am considering buying a Cub as a commuter, to run through all weathers and salt covered roads in Scotland, my question is...Is the rear enclosed chain case waterproof, will it keep the disgusting cheap road salt at bay? If I buy one it will be the smallest capacity bike I have ever owned but who gives a Donald Duck. I remember an Old bloke riding round one years ago with a crate strapped to the back and his Collie dog proudly perched. You get older you have nothing to prove 😃
That is true.. Like me, I'm now in my 60s I don't care anymore. I'm a big guy.. but I ride a Cub. I look ridiculous ..lol But I don't care.. I'm slow .. but I don't care..lol The little 125 motor just chugging along is a beautiful thing. I LOVE the gas mileage!!
Hope you can get the CRF sorted, but if not, you'll have a proper hoot on the Cub.... might need to leave a little sooner to get there though! :D hahaha. Am proper excited for the new bike reveal when you are able, shame it isn;t possible before the ABR though... but am sure it is worth the wait. I can't wait for the ABR this year, looking forward to riding the course on my Tuareg...and also looking forward to seeing some of the guests too.
The issue with car drivers, seems to be common place..... Quick in a straight line, can't do bends or corners 🤬 As far as tyres go, Mitas E07's?! Good 50/50 tyre, quite an aggressive tread pattern, but good on road, I've got them on my Himalayan, if you can get them in a suitable size 🤔 Great to see the positive attitude continuing 🙂👍
I'm sure this is way late.. But SteadyGarage told me trials/knobby tires work just fine on the new super Cubs mag rims..go for it !! Enjoy your video's
Hey Mr Fish, another brilliant video, can you give me some advice about your windshield, i have a similar size one , Puig traffic screen and however i seem to adjust it the buffetting and wind noise in my helmet is unbearable, i prefer to not evem use it many thanks, Matt
Mine is the puig as well .. everyone is different that’s the problem what works for me doesn’t work for others .. but on a longer journey I put an extender on the top
I inquired yesterday, the price of a day ticket , 75 quid ,,,, Noton Your Nelly , good vid Mr Fish , won’t see ya there unless I win the lottery cheers shane uk 🇬🇧 Greedy Baskets
You won’t get stuck at work bump start it if necessary , yes just put it in first and push and twist the throttle , omg 😳 you really are gonna put that poor bike through the mud lol .
Hey Mr... I bought a Super Cub last weekend. Now to watch all your content related to it and enjoy. 🙏🤗♥️🛵🤙 I am not embarrassed to be a FAN of Mr. FISH 🐟... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK Ps, u keep saying miles, is that miles or kilometers? Just curious. Slight difference. 💪
@@Mrfish2015 100% Mr. Fish, you are welcome to Los Angeles, CA for BBQ and riding/chilling anytime you're able to get here. Lmk and we'll be ready. ♥️🙏🛵

It could be worse - there could be someone sitting on the bike on the roof giving you the Royal Jubilee weekend finger!

Not waterproof but keeps most of the crap off .. in salt you’ll have to clean like any other bike to stop it dissolving

Nice video. Will see you at the show take the cub im taking my honda monkey
Nice
Using dirt roads does anyone know if the trail would be better? I like the look of the Cub better than the trail125.
