So on flat ground, I can only go 50 miles an hour. I weigh 180 pounds and I have a 65 L locking box that’s waterproof and it’s not very arrow dynamic and I think that’s why I think I’ve gone 65 as a max speed going downhill, but I would rather have the box then have a higher top speed love that box
Enjoyed the vid. I've just retired and sold my cruiser (xvs950) and this is on my small list of bikes for a big euro tour. I've ridden a Suzuki Van Van from Yorkshire to Malaga so know what l want/need. I wouldn't have the screen though as it's flippin ugly.
For the vibrating chrome piece, I think there's a few options. Beeswax, hot glue, or Blu Tack is a non-permanent option. Water-sealing caulk may be a permanent one.
My C125 makes this noise also. The speedo unit is secured to the upper handlebar cover with three screws from the underneath. These screws have a rubber grommet either side of the lug on the speedo unit. The buzz is caused by the grommets having shrunk slightly over time. You just need to nip those screws up and the clear plastic cover will sit properly again on the underneath of the chrome-look dial surround. Securing the speedo unit to the upper handlebar cover is easy. The hard part is removing the handlebar cover to access the screws. No special tools are required but there are a few plastic parts to avoid snapping. Front silver badge needs removing to then remove the ring around the headlight. Side screws on the plastics, a mirror and bob’s your uncle. PITA? Yeah
I do like a Super Cub, 1 bike i rode on waste land as a little lad was a C90! so always had a soft spot for these. But i ended up buying a SH300 just incase i wanted to go on faster roads, although i rarely go faster than 60mph anyway. I get high 80s mpg, doing same calculation as you M/L*4.546
Drains battery ! When left for more then 24hrs need to disconect key from bike or within 3 months batt will need charging manually as it will fail to start
Ok... but can it be trusted? Also, shipping will cost more than the item purchased. And what about taxes and going through customs? That's why I ask where to buy here in the USA?
Think theres a threshold for what gets taxed like around £50quid maybe 100. When i got the exhaust fedex charge me £67! Webike seem very reliable at sending out quick
Mixed feelings... overall its cheap to run and i do abit of milage so maybe itll only last 10 years if no1 trys to kill me 1st. Then i think ill be tempted to get iver meteor 350 or a kawasaki 1000sx

The Honda cub bikes are officially classed as motorcycles not scooters, scooters are twist and go with CVT transmission.
Perhaps black vinyl electrical tape applied to chrome bezel would work to knock the shine off.

Allways want a sh125 when i left school soo expensive though compared bett 300s soo much better . Ended up with honda lead 100cc
@@adambird007 SH300 is good yes but all about what you use it for, i considered the 125 but tbh they were more expensive than the 300
Thinking about getting a 125 super cub ,have you had any problems with that fancy key don’t think that bike needed it

Where can one get assesories in USA for the Super Cub?
If not ebay end up ordering from webike japan (thailand is normaly where they ship out from) takes around 5to 7days to arrive most things

It's like a hybrid scooter motorcycle
Think about it. If it has a swinging arm rear end its a motorcycle. Its the only singular difference that matters.
Best mpg i got was 178 mpg
It sounds like you are displeased with the bike. What are the reasons for keeping it?

@@adambird007 thats a long time until your next motorcycle. hahaha. Good Luck.
Yeah my puig screen broke too, where is that screen from? Looks a lot better than my current one, about as effective as a fart in a hurricane
Got it off ebay i think. Givi screen around £120 i think it cost me
Thanks
Unfortunately, I happened to live in one of the non-free states so Lane filtering is illegal in my state. My state sucks booty
It’s not a scooter.
What is it lol
