this is what the Jimny needs !
Just bought a Suzuki Baleno (UK Model) Automatic a month ago...... 111/112 bhp (depending what document your reading !) How come this vehicle has not been well marketed since 2016 ??!! A very "Plain Jane" looking car great to drive, engine is so sweet and goes like a rocket and getting approx 45mpg after every tank full.
It's a hiden gem .....especially now as its end of range prices are a bargain....trust me !!!
I was owned Baleno 1,3 2000 year and SX4 2008 year. Both of them very good, handy cars. Now I have Vitara 1,4 BoosterJet. This is the real rocket!
I have the Vitara S with this engine and it's amazing, powerful, linear and very smooth and is frugal in normal driving conditions.
people who have never driven anything above 20 lakhs be like lmao
Suzuki always king
Would this fit into 2009 1.5 l swift extreme ?
Camshaft chain driven from crankshaft or cog/tooth poly belt ????
Suzuki, I see a further possibility of fuel optimization. Here you use exhaust as just jet driving. What about taking unburned fuel out of the exhaust and adding a combustible cleaner like acetone or turpentine that can last a long time as a molecular valence shifter revitalizing exhaust fuems, limiting emissions and making a gallon of gas last 100 times longer to a infinite loop goal. I had a different engine idea with this idea. Using the flat 4 cylinder engine add a 5th BIG cylinder like in DR800. This cylinder would run on a contra axle inside or outside 4 cylinder cam shaft. It would take the revitalized exhaust primarily and take over as single cylinder drive in stable highway cruise situations or desired low performance puttering about or sight seeing. In performance, it runs with flat4 cylinders. The transmission can be two years to one or separately balanced for 4 wheel drive. I suggested this to Mazda at a car show with diesel since it has lots of waste. Finally, the tank of cleanser could optimize raw feces or treated waste to fuel. Recently, I have seen the company SUEZ achieve large plant success of a gas fuel recovered from sewage treatment. If acheivef to a small engine level, you could make individual home sewage treatment units that produce power and a small satchel of solid that could be packaged and sealed by machine to be picked up like trash for a fertilizer additive. I think would wide exchange of satchel of waste could lower virus contagion over time and make stronger humans world wide limiting global shock of strand waste virus emergence from remote life center areas.
When is the Jimny getting this upgrade?
its beautiful
super boost
If your thinking of buying a boosterjet dont worry about the valve carbon build up. Once a year your can clean the valves yourself with a can of carbon cleaner less than £10 and do it yourself every service its very easy. All you have to do is spray it down the inlet pipe after the air filter while engine is running until can is empty. Its a 5 minute job honnestly.
Any risk of this treatment causing carbon clumps to loosen and causing damage to turbo or valves?
@@sunilayya8948 i personaly never heard of that happening ever. Any deposits will expoded in the combustion cycle. As long as you follow instruction right to the T you cant wrong. Make sure you use it in burst of 3 - 4 shots then wait 20 seconds and repeat a few time then let car idle for 1 minute. If you are too aggressive with it you will stress the catalytic converter or the gasoline particular filter in suzuki boosterjets.
Please share the video demonstration at least.. at least millions boosterjet user will view
I prefer indirect port injection, don’t need an oil catch can with that type of engine. That’s why I bought pre booster jet Vitara 😜
@@colinhall8998 M16A i guess, right?
is it coming to india ir not?
Hello Suzuki. Is there a fix for the boost drop, in the near future 🤞😔 its probably just an adjustment on a fuel sensor.
Your cars in India are very strong even I love to drive that why I took the mighty ecosport
Pleaee can you upload a video how to drain Coolant properly on Suzuki swift Boisterjet 1.0 model? Beacuse user manual said coolant capacity is 4.7L. But when we flush and refill with the new coolant it was reached at full level by consuming 3.2L. It means old coolant (1.5L) has remaining. How to drain 100% of old coolant of Suzuki Swift Boosterjet 1.0 car model.even our suzuki local agent also does not have any idea regarding this. I would greatly appreciate it if you answer this question and I can let them know how to drain properly. Thank you! 👍❤
The Boosterjet engine does not need any carbon clean up, thats what a couple of the Sukuzi service centres here in the UK have informed me. It is not required.
Wondering if row of parallel port injectors would fix the carbon buildup in the intake valves. Probably a custom solution for the swift sport. 🤷♂
that why PFi is better...
how if you add additional PFi in intake manifold to clean intake valve while engine running at high RPM....its similar to powerjet carburetor system....
How about carbon build up for this kind of engine? Anyone want to share from owner itself?
I was going to buy a new S-Cross until I realised this engine uses direct injection without another injector to assist with keeping the inlet valves clean.
Please address this issue.
Well, as long as you do the maintenance shouldn't be so bad. Still, they could do like Toyota, add direct injection for efficiency but keep the port injection to clean the valves when the engine requires more fuel
@@lecoureurdesbois86 agreed. Mitsubishi are doing that aswell.
Oil catch can and a can of carb clean through the intake every service and your sorted 👍🏼
Other features of the 1.4 BOOSTERJET engine:
• Variable fuel pressure control system, reducing PM (particulate matter) and PN
(particulate number)
www.globalsuzuki.com/iaa2017/pdf/iaa2017.pdf (page 3)
Change oil each 5000km, sparks once each 2 years and add inyector cleaner to the fuel and that's it
Can I buy this engine to be swapped into my 2021 baleno came stock with k14b
That is my dream setup for a baleno, including 6 speed gearbox😢😢😢
Sounds like deadmou5e, but seriously Suzuki have made some great engines
is it necessary and/or recommended to install an oil catch can? Thanks for answering.
That would not be a bad idea 👍
The valve/cylinder head cover is plastic?? Wouldn't that crack/warp after a few years of it getting extremely hot?
Aka rocker cover been plastic since the 90s on most cars
Feels more like a rubberized plastic. Maybe for sound deadening.
Kapan suzuki masukin mobil2 dengan boosterjet? Kayak baleno, s cross, vitara europe, dll.
Semua tergantung prinsipal.
What is that cute little engine supposed to go inside?
swift sport^^ and a vitara i think
It's a great engine, little boy...
The Vitara, Swift, and the S-Cross. A variant of it is in development for the Jimny as well so that the Jimny will be U.K. compliant.
Xbee
Does this work with ethanol 10% ?
AFAIK it's rated to do so
Sure they do. In Hungary where most suzukis are manufactured you can only get e10 and premium 100.
Possible to put this engine into suzuki jimny 5 door?
Will be great. But they don't do that and i don't understand why.
so boosterjet mean direct injection engine with turbo more like tgdi
Finding out now that DFI wasn´t such a good idea, it causes too many problems.
What is the CPR of this engine? I am guessing this design used two fuel pumps, a low pressure and a high pressure. If so why wasn't a mechanical rotary pump driven by the cam not considered to reduce parts and cost over time. Mitsubishi's GDI was a nightmare when that high pressure pump failed and it did so very often it was a single point of failure for them attempting DPI. If your going to copy Diesel tech copy it well go mechanical high speed pumps to provide the coverage under any engine load. The manifold in the head is a bad idea. costly repairs a point for total engine failure I think. I could be wrong as experts did rnd n get it made
Boosterjet engines are time belt or chain?
Chain.
@@samgab hi bro, do you know if K15B engine is chain?
FX Gameplay Hey... I’m no expert on the K15B, but from what I’ve read, it’s a timing chain. I don’t know of any modern engines from the last few years that still use a belt. www.motorreviewer.com/engine.php?engine_id=188
@@samgab i see, thank you bro!
PFi is the better❤❤❤❤
hg
Great...
#1 carbon build up on the valves.
#2 Gdi fual pressure leakage in the combustion chamber
#3 which result to oil dilution....
Why so should i buy a engine that's waiting to fail....
D injection sucks carbon problems to bad suzuki joins the rest of the mob, be like mazda x drive. Small turbo cars drink fuell like a 2 liter or more
it can be reduced by installing oil catch can
@@danielhandika8767
Well, some people report power loss problems after oil catch can install.
@@SladkaPritomnost Maybe...
Because catch can affects the flow in the PCV
I don't think they drink fuel, on the contrary I get between 50 and 60mpg from my Vitara, I will be seafoaming the intake as part of its yearly service so I don't expect to have any issues.
@@simonwillgress exactly i dont see why people are moaning about this. Every single engine gets carbon build. Its a 5 minute job if that. VW a very bad for it.
Terrible background music😡😡😡
small engine with GDI Turbo = unreliable & wear out faster 👎
i will stick to my strong durable and reliable R18 engine.
Worst Edit 😂
is this engine fit's in Suzuki cultus.....?
Totally!
