Just a heads up dude. This doesn’t actually sharpen the throttle response. The "incremental" or "direct" over threshold refers to the different driving modes for the steering feel (which is why it’s under the steering control module). Basically, "incremental" setting = the steering feel won’t be changed immediately from normal to dynamic. Where as the "direct" setting = the steering is firmer and changed immediately from normal to dynamic.
I gotta say I was definitely skeptical... Found several threads about it so I figured I'd give it a try forum.obdeleven.com/thread/1607/change-throttle-response-pedal-postion forum.obdeleven.com/thread/7887/increased-engine-responsiveness-information Maybe it's just my imagination but it actually did make a slight difference (I think) lol no harm done... I would think that your JB pedal tuner would be far better but hey it was fun... Lol
Panda. Doesn't the throttle lag @ a dead stop and then go.. that's how I notice that first gear lag on D. But on sport I think first gear lag goes away definitely on S/M.
@@savagepandaprojects yes I put up a video on my RUclips you can see it yourself. I saw it in the shop and felt like crying lol. "Nooo my babyyyy" it was fun while it last. So now I'm thinking what to do with the car.... dont know they talking about alot of cash.... dont know...I'll let you know more details tomorrow the car motor is getting pulled so will know more details. But the mechanic at the shop said he believes it was the apr ,etc. Said he has seen alot like this and all had apr. Also said to be fair that these motors are known to have problems with oil, etc. Audi got suit for it. Anyway I love my car and man that power felt good bro.
@@savagepandaprojects I'll keep you posted. I dont want to blame apr dude just saying what the mechanic said. The car I believe just hit 60k so still in teens lol. He also said they are known to motor problems but let me get more details and I'll update you on it. I tried to get a apr upper and lower motor but they stop making them which was weird cause if it was good why stop? So I'm in my mix feelings at the moment. Peace
Abdul-latif Santiago I’ve been to my local german shop and I’ve seen two blown Audi motors with oil issues and both were APR tuned. The mechs also told me it’s a known thing for APR which I’ve researched before which is why I chose Unitronic.
For a true Night & Day difference, you'll need to obtain a Throttle Booster. APR just came out with one and it is sublime.

Correct.
My VAG specialist says don’t do this as it messes with a lot that I don’t have the time to explain.
theres better options nowadays anyway like the APR throttle booster :)

Yeah S was always more responsive. This little trick does seem to help in both modes from what Ive seen so far
That's how pretty much all DCT transmissions behave
what does it do exactly to the car to improve its response? is there any cons to this mod
No cons, it's just giving the gas pedal a slightly more responsive feel.
Is this any harm for car or engine side???
Please respond
Highly doubtful that would cause any harm
Is your A3 a rear-wheel drive?
Awd
What does the other values mean , other than 19249 ?
Wonder if it works for the A4 B9?
Possible! still gotta be careful with obd tweaks!
What app did u use please
OBD11
will this fit my audi s3 2023?
probably not but if that new APR throttle booster is compatible that would be a better way to go
For some reason my 2015 A3 Quattro says that I can't do the throttle response mod
😞
CEO of roman numerals 😉 It's OBDII, which is OBD 2.
Ha! They sure are clever! Lol
oh my god I never made that connection😂
Yes, it OBD2 but that product is actually called "OBD eleven" tho
Hey sup. My audi is died....😭 it's a internal issue 💥 was told all the power I put into it killed it. Lol
What? Nooo are you serious man? Blown internals? From stage 2?

it basically works like a throttle response controller?
Makes a slight adjustment yes
The stupid mechanic reset my body throttle, now its back to lag mode 🤬
Ahhhh man bummer well you saw how easy it was to change settings!
