You are absolutely right, it's important to for any dental practictioner to decode the details of the previous dental treatment before planning for any dental treatment procedure.
It is actually helpful for better treatment planning.
Earlier, I used to think that initiating a treatment plan for any patient who has received a dental treatment in the past, especially in cases wherein previous treatment has failed; they are more challenging ones.
But now after watching this case discussion, I'm filled with more confidence and knowledge that would only help me to do such cases.
Also, you have emphasized upon the importance and basic principles & requisites of tooth preparation.

Ur details are awesome. Dental school didnt teach all this. The supervisor would do alot of unspoken asssessment but now when i work i miss out on these small assessments bcz i wasnt taught it. Unshould defo become a uni lecturer 👨🏫

You’re most welcome and best of luck to you with your new practice :) Sometimes you can get away with it if the tooth is sound and your seal the prepared tooth with bonding agent right now crown prep.

Was the patient’s natural teeth midline offset wrt face? As i guess it was set wrt labial frenum . If yes what to do in that case?
Mein dentist nhi hoon.. Aapne kaha sab dentist hi dekh rahe hain... Maine mere treatment se pehle bahut saare vdos dekhe hain.. Sirf jaankari ke liye ku koi mujhe galat na karde aur paise bhi loot le.. Jaise yahan pe kiya gaya hai... All went wrong.. Ab mein itna kuch jaanti hoon ki... Mein bata sakti roughly ki kya kar sakte hain patient ko dekh kar...believe me iam enjoying ur vdos as a dentist myself... V nice ..wisdom and discussion.. U r a gem... Mera case aapke pass hota toh accha hota.. Lekin mera zyada complicated nhi hai.. And alhamdulillah.. I got nice dentist.. Mujhe deep bite ki problemem ke liye vdo hai kya? Link mention karein...
