I’m just a little confused with the leaning over the edge of the roof and trying to take the windows out with a hook. I mean I get it but theirs a much easier safer and faster method. In my city our halogans have eyelets welded on so I would use the carabiner and a length of line in my pocket. I’d hook the carabiner to the halogan and then swing it out away from the roof and as it swung back it would take the window out. Worked like a charm for a fast vent. Sure it wouldn’t clear the entire window but I could knock out every window in seconds. Just a thought….. stay safe brothers!
Add to that confusion that he's up on the roof alone when he fires up the saw and isn't wearing an SCBA. I suppose if I lived in Philthadelphia, I'd tempt fate all I could as well!
Any time we go inside an IDLH environment we wear our Scott SCBA air packs, but on the roof or outside the dwelling most guys use the Hot Shield Wildland Firefighter Face Mask
I got mine here: www.thefirestore.com/mobile/store/product.aspx/productId/11243/Hot-Shield-Firefighter-Face-Mask-NFPA/ ...And we just take the top strap off so it's quicker to put on
Thanks for the vids and the channel!
Wow awesome vid and view from main ladder.
Constructive criticism: did start saw on the ground, breathing apparatus not properly installed, not sounding the roof.
Maybe you should have been a cop!!
Dudes never made a back bedroom!
“Breathing Apparatus not installed?” 🤔
Keep the videos up Bro nice
Great video

Because smoke from a burning building and it’s contents are less or equal to as toxic as wild land fire smoke . Makes sense
Truck company open up the roof
