Final version of my boss fight level. It's now a puzzle level. If you don't make a powerful enough weapon, you'll run out of health before you defeat the boss.

How the hecc does this all work??? It's all so confusing....
Do not read unless you want an actual long-winded breakdown of (I think) everything.
The lower right rules delete stray projectiles by making them empty if they land on a Keke (Moon) or Wall (all of them).
The upper right rules govern Baba's projectile behavior with orbs Baba makes making a line and a key when on brick which move forward the next turn with their orb and turn into orbs themselves, thus creating 3 thick obs. These orbs are open to destroy the shut Kekes.
The boxes are stop to impede movement and the walls are stop in a specific direction to trap the player in the playspace once they finish with the rulespace (although the walls aren't stop when facing a moon so the moon can go through and be destroyed). Likewise, Baba is float and shift so that it interacts with the floating shifting fence to not be able to leave the brick to the left while still being able to fire "under" the fence (couldn't use a 1 way stop cause then you couldn't shoot). The ice turns into a wall when Baba crosses it to complete the trap.
The grass and ice is tele for rules to be activated by the player entering the playspace, since you have to push rules onto the teleporters. They're also float on tile, with tiles placed under them in the receiving end so that they function as 1 way teleporters, since text isn't float so it won't interact with them on the other end.
These teleporters activate the rules which turn the shmup on, Baba Make Orb (so Baba starts firing), Keke Facing Empty Make Moon (so half the Kekes start firing), and Dust Is Moon (to remove the dust and create the alternating moon pattern). These moons are set to move and turn Baba into Keke if it gets hit (which shouldn't happen if you keep moving since I made the alternating pattern with the dust). This acts as a failstate.
If all the Kekes are opened, this acts as the winstate since Level Not On Keke Is Win (And Float so Baba can actually touch it).
The trick to the level is the timer at the bottom. Under the skull is dust that turns into a moon once the level is active. This moves right in perpetuity via the water teleporters, each time destroying the lead love since Love Near Skull Is Weak. This love drops a Me which turns into a ghost then a skull, which turns the next love weak but only after the moon has passed it. This way with each pass of the moon only one is destroyed. When no love is left, the level is destroyed by the Level Not On Love Is Open rule and the shut Kekes. The only way to beat this timer is to assemble the aforementioned rules to stack 3 orbs in each shot since otherwise you won't destroy enough Kekes.

Level Not On Love Is Open. Keke Is Shut. If you don't destroy all the Kekes and win by the time it runs to zero, the Level becomes Open, interacts with the Shut Kekes, and is destroyed. It functions as Baba's health, but really it's just a turn timer that you could put in any level.

What happens when you lose the last heart? Level is open and disappears because Keke is Shut? Does that kick you out of the level? I haven't got to interact with the text "level" much yet.
You aren't kicked out of the level, but it explodes and you're left with an empty death screen until you back up.
It's about the equivalent of making something like LEVEL is MELT when there's something that's HOT on the field. Level melts because there's a HOT entity that exists.

I primarily used the external editor. You can find a link on the editor page of the Baba Is You wiki. You might also want to join the discord if you're going to get into editing. The community there was very helpful.
