“Such control” as Eddie falls off the chair. Lol. I love Pearl Jam. Growing up West of Seattle being a senior in High School in 1992. Saw Pearl Jam at Lollapalooza that year, will never forget it. It was a great time in music with all of the “grunge” coming out of Seattle
LOVE Eddie’s performance of Porch here. It’s my favorite of the Unplugged set. His voice is absolutely incredible. No matter how many times I listen to it, I’m amazed by it. What a performer. And it’s been fascinating to see and hear how he, and everyone in the band, have evolved over the years. By the way, all the artists who performed on Unplugged were supposedly required to stay seated throughout their sets. They weren’t supposed to get up. It’s been thought that Eddie “fell” off his seat to avoid and rebel against that restriction. And once he was up, Jeff also got to his feet. By the end, Eddie couldn’t help but stay on his feet, swept away by the moment. Pearl Jam may have broken their contract with MTV, but it became one of the most famous performances ever on Unplugged.
I was a freshman in high school when this first aired. Being that young with all that hyper energy in me, and watching this performance and their level of energy , I felt like I would explode .
My favorite Pearl Jam song, the fast beat, his powerful voice, the insane energy.I just love it. And this MTv unplugged version couldn't be better, Eddie's lyrics changing is amazing and the instrumental improvisation is absolutely fantastic and makes this song more powerful to listen to. Great song, great band
You guys are awesome!! I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan since the beginning of their career, I absolutely love Eddie, he is the best!! Awesome reactions guys, thank you Soo much for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️
Great reaction. Was in high school when this was released. I too have the VHS recoding of this somewhere. I remember me and my brother going nuts when this was aired on local TV here in South Africa. Caught in a panic, I picked up the nearest VHS cassette, rewound the tape for as long as I could (can’t be running out of tape and mess this up) and pressed record. Aahhh. Good times.
Stayed up till 2 in the morning as a kid here in Oz to record this on VHS back in the day, and like you D I flogged that video till the picture quality went fuzzy, my fave Unplugged out of all of them! Tho Stone Temple Pilots and the band Live both had amazing Unplugged sets as well. Great reaction choices tonight guys, cheers for the content. :)
I agree that Eddie is beautiful, particularly in the 90"s. He has equally beautiful heart and soul. Awesome vocal talent. Huge heart. Just an overall beautiful man. ❤
Also, I would suggest watching Pearl Jam’s 10 song set on the David Letterman stage from 2006. It was a small concert solely for their fans from the Ten Club. A great performance. Especially look for Do The Evolution, World Wide Suicide, and of course, Porch!
Pearl Jam - Release (Live in Holland 1992) - Animal / Rockin’ In The Free World (with Neil Young live at MTV music awards 1993) - Of The Girl (Live in Kraków 2018)
I keep saying that pearl jam captures you with their amazing music set up.. the music is what hooks your attention, but it's the damn lyrics that makes you love the band and fully respect Vedder as a singer song writer. Please react to Black from the same unplugged.
I'm a big time Pearl Jam fan and while I love this version Pinkpop 92" is probably the best version. I agree that Eddie Vedder is a good looking guy, I stood next to him at a Soundgarden show briefly. He's a lovely person but I out matched him in size and weight.🤣
Porch is by far Pearl Jam’s best song. This whole record changed my life as a kid. Amazing.

My wife says that Eddie is good-looking and has a great voice. You know what, I concur. Great reaction.

Thanks for watching!
Fucking love this! Back when MTV gave back to the watcher.
Yep, back when it was actually a music channel!
I could watch this on a loop! Remember the first time I saw it I was 15, and watching Eddie write pro choice on his arm impacted me hard!!! ❤
Great reaction.

You didn't tape over anything important did you? LOL
I simultaneously did the same line and face with you "There a'int gonna be any middle anymore"
😂 At this stage in my life I can't help it, I could be in the middle of a conversation listening to that song and I would have to do it!
Rocking!!!!

Great, thanks - we'll check it out!
That's an awesome Pearl Jam little concert on David Letterman!! 😊✌️
I love all music, but I always find myself listening to 90’s as my go to.
😄
Thanks for watching!
My hands hurt playing Dave Abbruzzese. That lineup of Pearl jam was probably the best ever.
Great version! I remember watching it live back then. A great show. Check out Yellow Ledbetter or Corduroy by them.
Will do!
Thanks for watching!

It’s 2022 and I still miss Dave A. 🥺
He was great wasn't he?
Thanks for watching!
Yes we did wanna be Eddie in the early 90s lol. I could even sing like him back then too, which was nice haha.
The best I can do is mime along! :)
Every unplugged song was fantastic. I think Jeremy was better than the studio version.
Un gusto verlos reaccionar ,son Muy entretenidos y simpáticos , saludos y buenas vibras desde la distancia.
Muchísimas gracias.
¡Gracias por ver!

Hi, sorry, I meant that Rach had seen Black before we started the channel.
Thanks for watching!

Release
Good call!
Thanks for watching!
@@RDMusicExchange anytime so many great albums
You didn’t catch him falling of the chair
whole set was incredible, this not close to Black IMO.. but was this the song right before Black? Eddie seemed in the zone
I'm pretty sure this was the last song.
Dee loves Pearl Jam as much as I love Jinjer.
😄
